Maybe you are uber-smart (And very poor) Maybe you are just slightly more intelligent than average and you just happened to have to money to attend. Or maybe you are filthy frigging rich and have the money to buy yourself in. One thing’s for sure: You are certainly not stupid.
Now it comes down to what you will do while you’re here. Fall in love? Fall out of love? Discover a few things about yourself? Maybe even change a few things about yourself. And remember, this is college. People make serious mistakes without adults and maybe you will make a few (Or a lot). Just don’t die. That would look really bad for the school.

Zoe looked closely at Juliann, noticing how he had looked her over. It was embarrassing really, but she didn’t let her discomfort show. Instead she laughed at his joke and pretended to be perfectly comfortable.
When he began speaking again, she crossed her arms over her chest and welcomed the break from small talk. "Well I want to major in culinary arts, but I’m not sure whether or not I’m going to switch to Business.” She said, yawning. She hadn’t really gotten much sleep in the past few days due to the stress of college. “How about you?”

Juliann leaned back in the bench and pulled his up his right leg crossing it over his left, He was rather enjoying his encounter with Zoe. She was interested in the culinary art or she could make the transition to business if she wanted too. He keened his head to the side a bit as he listened to her, Much like a dog would if you stood and talked to it.
But he just returned with a smile and a nod letter her know that she had his full attention.. "Hmm.. That is a choice right there, Food or Corporate."
"I'm going to be majoring in Engineering and hopefully keep a minor in physiology while I'm here."

Zoe gazed intently at Juliann, looking about as interested as possible in him. She hoped that she didn’t look weird, but she really was fascinated by him. Not only was he rather attractive, but he was fun to talk to.
“Wow, engineering” She said, awe shining in her eyes “I heard that that was really hard. Can I ask why you’re so intersected in it? I mean, to me it sounds like quite a boring career track.” She said nothing about his minor for fear of sounding stupid. After all, she didn’t even know what physiology was.

No actually.." Juliann said to Zoe "In some way it can be the same as Cooking, All you have to do is put the right ingredients together at the right time and being mindful of what you use."
Juliann goes quiet for a moment has he rattles his fingers across his leg a few times.. "But my reason for choosing such a hard class.. Well my parents did plenty of things to help others and seeing as I have the same mechanical proficiency as my father. I just thought it would be the best choice, Not to mention the fact my mother was a rather good doctor. So that also explains my choice in a minor as well.."

"Oh," Zoe uncrossed her arms and placed her palms flat on the bench "I guess I never thought about it like that" She shrugged, not really knowing what else to say. "But then again... I don't think that I think about engineering a whole lot" She just sat for a few moments. "So phisiology is... medicine?" She asked cautiously.

Juliann tilted his head a small bit when he heard Zoe's response, Weather or not she guess right or not was on no consequence to him. That fact that she actually took a stab at the topic was more then enough to peek his interest. Seeing as most other people just hear the word Physiology and try there damnedest to back out of the conversation.
"Sorry but no, However that was a good guess.. You wouldn't believe how many here asked if I was going to be a nutritionist." He lightly rings his hands together.. "Actually it is the study and knowledge of the actual workings of the human body, Everything from tendons, nerves, muscles and any other miscellaneous tissue.
Long story short I picked two hard subjects and whether or not I do well is to be seen, Either that or I'm just a glutton for punishment." Already feeling a bit tense Juliann tries to loosen his collar and only finds that his tie is in the way. Fighting with it only takes a few moment but it does reveal that he is actually somewhat bothered by his rather formal attire.
"But I am somewhat capable of cooking myself so maybe that might bridge the conversation somewhat?"

Ethan heard the voice over the speakers and sighed deeply. Time to go listen to some boring teacher talking away about.. whatever. He got up and walked away towards the building they were supposed to be in. Ethan passed the two from before and nodded at the boy, Juliann he believed, and caught the girls eyes. Ethan winked and smiled at her, and then turned his eyes straight ahead and kept walking.

Zoe reached up and rubbed the back of her neck. She hadn’t thought that the answer she gave had been very smart at all, but Juliann didn’t seem to think it was completely idiotic, so she tried not to look too embarrassed. However, not even trying could prevent her face from turning red, yet again.
She looked up to see him fidgeting with his tie and was just about to say something when the boy behind them (Actually, she hadn’t noticed him before all that closely, so it was a surprise) winked at her. Of course, this caused her face to flare up even more.

Zoe's reaction from what he had just said was fine enough to know that he had done more then enough to catch her attention. She literally lit up like a light when she responded and he questioning was more precise, He was beginning to like her attentiveness towards him and he slightly grinned as he looked back at her.
"Wait.. you mean like TV dinner cook or actual meals cook?" He laughed a small bit when she popped that question at him. He just leaned into the conversation some more as he began to speak...
"Actually I can cook several things, Lobster'bisk, Shepherds Pie.. But I must say that sweets are more my favorite."

Zoe raised her eyebrows, surprised, "Lobster bisque?" She asked, "Impressive. You sure you shouldnt be in the cullinary program?" She laughed a bit but it was mostly to mask the bit of jelousy in her tone. At this point in her life, cooking had become an almost intense competition. She didnt do it for the food. After all, she really didnt eat the food. Without her heavy clothing on, that would be painfully obvious. But if anyone could cook something that she couldnt, she became just a tad bit bitter towards that skill.
"So you cook sweets?" She asked, changing the topic just a little, "Or do you just eat them?"

He only snaps back into reality long enough to pull out his cell phone and look at the time.. "Damn.. Guess we only have eight minutes left to get going." Juliann then stood and stretched lightly, He looked at Zoe as she sat there on the bench and lent down a hand. "Would you like to accompany me?"

"Oh, uhm, okay" Zoe said, beggining to follow him. She looked straight ahead as they began to walk. The acedemic buliding wasnt far off. In fact, it was nearly right in front of them if they walked for a few minutes. She smiled to herself at the prospect of spendng a bit more time with him. It wasnt because of how he looked, though she did find him attractive, but she wanted a friend so badly that it hurt sometimes. The last person she had been close to had been the girl that she took the elevators with in school when her ankle had been broken. And that friendship had ended quickly. After all, Zoe would never spend time on the elevator when she could take the stairs.
"So," She began, trying to make conversation, "You're a freshman?"
