Humanity had encountered several alien races and adopted them into their culture and it seemed like there was nothing but prosperity for mankind. With the Unparalleled technology any resistance they faced from any of the weaker alien races were destroyed completely.
It was around 12100 that humanity began to have problems Collonys would go dark, fleets would go missing and there was never a single report made on who had done it, not one ship had managed to get away to send warning and it seemed that humanity was facing a threat that they had no idea on how to fight when they had already had full control over one of the ten branches of the galaxy
12158 Humanity launched the 12 grand expansion fleet composed of over three thousand ships meant to take over the Center of the galaxy. After several systems had been concurred and colonized the 12th fleet warped deeper than any fleet had gone before and was heading to a plaint that was going to become humanities center point for expansion. When the fleet warped into the system they found themselves to be in the middle of a Enormous battle tens of thousands of ships surrounded the planet shooting at each other, destroying each other. It was not clear how many factions were in the fight but the 12th fleet would not go down without a fight. After 7 days of nonstop combat the 12th fleet had been reduced to a meager ten ships. The alien fleets had all either backed down or had been completely destroyed.
12240 After a colony and military base that’s strength was only bested by terra itself reports came in from the deep space probes launched years ago. From the Intel the reports gave there were nine alien empires, kingdoms or whatever they referred to themselves as, each as large as the empire that man had built for itself.
12260 On the Stronghold plaint new ore was found. Very little was there but when refined and put into a machine acts as an almost limitless power source. Believed to be was being fought over in the great battle of 12158. Martial named Vondralis
This roleplay is a very open, you can crate one of the 9 empires and be a ruler or a basic trooper, want to be a pirate lord go ahead, want to make an alliance with one of the races go for it. Each of the empires can have evolved technology in its own way but weather or not your empire has supper genetically enhanced supper warriors or giant robots each empire is roughly the same power. want to make a even empire go ahead, want to base it off something like warhammer 40k starwars or mass effect go for it. Hell if you want to have a dramatic love story go for it. put some effort into making you character and if you want make one of the empires put a lot of detail into it. You can also rule mankind if you want but it must go along with was written up it the story above.
Note: Vondrlis is a very rare material but very powerful, and can work with all sorts of cool stuff but is very hard to get only the 10 empires have acces to it and possibly some very powerful individuals and should not be brought up unless there is a reasonable way it can be done as such.
