Introduction

You have been taken to the village of Asulta. Here, is where your future shall be decided. The one who makes that decision, is Aden Sulta.
Though he appears to be quite young, he has lived many years. You are to live with him, while he studies you, and finally makes his decision.....

HOW IT WILL WORK

YOU ARE A MODERN DAY NORMAL HUMAN BEING. When submitting your first post,
please include some detail on how you got here. Each person will have been transported
here after having a dream of a strange young man, calling you. Saying only your name
over and over again. In the beginning, you are to wake up in an empty, deserted, grassy field.
When suddenly, numerous Giant Fish land from the air.....
A man rides on one of them, he is to take you to the village of Asulta.

The story will start once you all arrive at Aden Sulta's house. More info will be provided as needed.

This RP will mainly rely on YOU to lead the way. As the GM, I will explain to you each 'phase' of the RP, and how It will work, however you will be the one making decisions for your characters, creating a plot. Updates/New Info on each new phase are available as the story progresses. This RP is my own original idea, and Is an RP BURSTING with fantasy! Though as I have stated in the rules, you will not be playing as some Neko-person, warlock, ninja, etc..., I will tell you now that this RP is one that you WILL NOT REGRET JOINING.

Don't be mistaken, just because you can't be some super-human warlock, doesn't mean that this RP is going to be boring. It is ANYTHING but boring. Action, Adventure, Romance, are all here for you to enjoy. Anything can happen in this RP. Mysterious cases that need solving, Strange creatures that need to be dealt with, Learning how to tame a wild creature, Working at a shop in the village of Asulta, literally anything!

I'm willing to listen to you all if you have any ideas that could make this RP better as well. If there's any more info that you would like, just ask!

Toggle Rules

1. No spamming ( basically anything that might irk others )
2. Must write at least a paragraph, but don't think that I'm letting you off easy. I want literate writers. When creating a fantasy world from almost scratch, it's going to take a group of good writers to accomplish that.
3. Yes, this is a fantasy RP, but you are only allowed to play as a human. You have no superhuman powers, supernatural abilities, a cat tail, claws, etc…You are to start out as a NORMAL MODERN-DAY HUMAN
4. You must notify me if you are going to be gone for more than 2 days. Please try to be active.
5. Try to keep this PG-13. No excessive swearing and etc…
6. Try to be realistic. You’re not going to know right away, everything about everyone, where you are, what you’re supposed to do, etc…
7. Characters must be ages 12-18
8. If I see something that I think needs changing, I will ask you, and expect you to revise it.
9. Although this isn't really a 'rule', people change. I don't want to see a character who stays the same throughout the entire RP.
9. I will be playing all the NPC’s. You will be leading most of the story, so I will play as them as they are needed. Just let me know at the bottom of your post, who you want me to take the role of at the moment. A tiny description of the person/thing’s personality would be great too, though you must accept the fact that I won’t be able to play its part exactly the way you pictured it.
10. Try to make a creative, original character that’s different from all the others.
11. REMEMBER TO TAG YOUR CHARACTER IN EACH POST, UNLESS YOU ARE AN NPC ( which you obviously won't be )
12. Ask questions if you have them! I love them ^^
13. If you have read the rules, write "The GM loves cookies" OR "Yoda is a green dwarf" at the bottom of your application

"Hello down there! It's my pleasure to meet y---Whoaa there fishy! Calm down! 'Ey aren't gonna hurt ya!"
A middle-aged man with a head still full of black wavy hair rode on the back of a bright orange fish. He tucked his red scarf under his chin, putting
his brown leather gloves in a bag that was strapped to the fish's side. He pulled on the reigns, as he and a numerous amount of fish began to land........

Johann rubbed his eyes with the back of his dirty hand, which was not dirty from the gun and cigarette butts of the city but instead they were smothered in the grassy earth that lay beneath him. He heard a voice as he opened his eyes, it was welcoming him. Although he sounded alone it soon came to Joe's attention that he was riding something, a horse, no he mentioned a fishy. Fishy! There was no way someone would bring a fish into a large field like the one he was in. "Woah!" Joe yelled as his eyes finally opened up and fell upon the flying fish that appeared to be the stead of a man.

As he looked around more he witnessed a array of fish most flying in the air and some on the ground. The man that had spoke out landed and Johann crawled backwards to keep out of it's way. He did not say anything but instead he just lay there in shock of what was before him. Eventually, he finished staring at the flying fish and spoke franticly. "Who are you?"

Kloey had a massive headache when she woke, her eyes slowly fluttered open. Something smelled different, not the same as her room usually did in the mornings. When her eyes finally came to focus on her surroundings she noted that she was indeed not at home, but in some type of large field. She sighed to herself, her little cousins had been visiting and must have brought her out here...but where was out here? As she looked around she thought she could see another figure in the distance but couldn't make out who it was and began to walk towards the figure. No more than five minutes after she began to walk a strange darkness skimmed across the sky above her, she shielded her eyes and looked upwards. The sun was still bright even though there was a large shadow of something slowly making its way toward her. Then she saw it...flying fish!

"This is a dream..." she said to herself and kept walking, poking and pinching at herself to wake up, but it wasn't working. It had to be a dream right? The flying fish, along with a man who had been riding a rather large on landed next to the other figure she had spotted. She set off in a half run to find out what was going on. The other figure, who she now saw to be a blonde boy, near her age had began to speak to the man upon the fish. When she arrived she was near out of breath and blurted out, "Where am I and what's going on?!"

Victoria lay on the ground, totally knocked out and curled up in a ball on her side. She had been asleep for 30 minutes now, but she woke up with a sudden start. Victoria rubbed her eyes, yawned, stretched her arms, and took a look around her. "Huh... I must still be dreaming." She shook her head, slapped her cheeks, and opened her eyes. "Uh... lemme try that again." She pinched her arm even harder and shook her head even faster. "Wh- why am I still here?! I was at Mom and Dad's company party last night but- Wait. DID SOMEBODY SPIKE THE PUNCH?! Oh my goooood. Somebody drugged me and I'm hallucinating." Victoria burst into tears and covered her face as she sobbed. "Eh?" She stopped for a second, looked above her and found herself cloaked in the shadow of a gigantic flying fish. "WHAT KIND OF DRUGS WERE THESE?! IYAAAAAAHAAAAAAH!" Victoria stood and started running, but she couldn't see any trees in sight. It was just a wide, open meadow. Finally, Victoria collapsed onto her knees and started hyperventilating. Her body trembled, and she had a hard time breathing. Before she knew it, her vision blurred, a fuzzy feeling came over her, and she passed out in the field.

The man rubbed the small stubble on his chin, sliding expertly off the fish's back. "The name's Lukas Sloat. I like to go by Lu though." he grinned. Turning his head to the side, he spotted a girl running towards them. He raised his eyebrows as she stopped, heaving and gasping for breathe. "Well Missy, Let's start with introductions first eh? Like I was saying to Johann here, I go by the name Lu. Oh--and don't ask me how I know your name." he said quickly.
He then looked from right to left, as if he expected to see others. "Hey....shouldn't there be another girl here with ya?" he questioned.

"So you are, the police?" Johann asked hoping that the man was not going to move him along. Although it had not yet been clearly worked out by his mind, the situation was seeming stranger for Johann. "How do you do know my name? Have I done something wrong, is it the pie shop?" He asked nervously. The pie shop, literally throwing away fresh pies every night for them to replace in the morning. Their just begging for us to take them. Crushed food is better than no food.

"Police? Pie shop!?" The man now identified as 'Lu' answered. "Why would the police be after ya? I'm here to take you to the Village of Asulta." he laughed, running his hands through his disheveled black hair. "And Aden woulda murdered me if I hadn't memorized your names by now. 'Be courteous Lu -- meaning I expect you to have their names down by the time they come' he says to me. Not sure if the villagers know about ya yet, but I'm sure there won't be too may problems.." The man paused, turning around to pat a fish's back. "Anyhow, really. Where is that other girl?"

Victoria opened her eyes slowly, her surroundings gradually coming into focus. It had only been about ten minutes, but she was nervous, tired, and had a ginormous headache. After a moment, Victoria stood up, wobbled a bit, and then started walking in some random direction. "Where am I? Am I still on drugs?" Hot tears spilled out of her eyes. She was able to make out three large shapes and two smaller ones through her tears. "Ah... who is that? Even if I am on drugs, maybe they can tell me something useful." Victoria slowly made her way over to where Lu and Johann were standing. She took one look at them both and started crying even harder, with tears running down her cheeks and snot flowing out of her nose. Victoria is not a pretty crier. "Why- why- where...." She paused before taking a deep breath and shouting, "WHERE THE HELL AM I AND WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO ME?!" She somewhat resembled a distraught child throwing a tantrum.

Johann stopped hering a sobbing coming from the distance. He turned to see a girl about his age walking towards them with tears flowing down her face. "Life's not easy, Lu." he said in response to the question about the police. As the girl got closer Johann smiled, an attempt to look comforting that doesn't work well when you haven't had a proper wash for over a month. Once she reached them she paused, mumbled a little, then began to cry asking where she was and what happened. "It's alright, we are both confused. This is Lu." Talking to girls was not Johann's strong point, they had it much easier on the streets everyone is much more willing to give to a homeless girl than that dirty hobo trying toe take your money. As a result of this Johann hadn't had a conversation with a girl for weeks, the last time being the woman who owns the burger stand.

Lu crossed his arms, leaning back on the fish he had been patting. "Well well well, here's our little girl. Like Johann said, I go by the name Lu." he scratched his chin once again -- a habit he had developed when he was younger. "Who said you were on drugs? I'm here ta take you to the village of Asulta. Lu grimaced, putting a finger in his ear as the girl started screeching. He stuck a hand in his pocket, pulling out a dirty handkerchief. "Ah, well, it's not much but you can wipe your tears with this. We can talk once you've calmed down. "

Victoria forced herself to stop crying and took the handkerchief. "Thank you..." She wiped her face off and blew her nose. She studied Johann and Lu for a moment before looking up at the giant fish that towered above her. "Are you sure we won't fall off of the uh.. the fish?" Just thinking about riding on top of one was making her stomach queasy. Victoria already hated heights to begin with, but riding on a flying fish... well, that didn't really make her feel much better.

Victoria thought she was going to puke. "Can we go ahead and get a move on then? I really don't understand any of this, but I feel like I'm going to pass out again any minute." Victoria stared at the fish and tried to judge which one would be the safest to ride. "And can I please sit on a big fish? Like a really big one with giant scales to grab onto to keep from falling off?"

"You want us to fly one of those things?" Johann asked in confusion. The girl had calmed down now and seemed to be choosing a fish to ride. "You're seriously accepting this as if it's happening?" He said as he turned to Victoria. Johann wasn't too keen on animals, especially flying fish, as they did tend to wake up sleeping street kids. Be it a dog's soggy nose or a horses loud trot across the tarmac of the roads near-by. This was not exactly making him optimistic about flying on an imaginary fish.

Victoria looked at Johann and nodded, a look of dread on her face. "Well... how else are we going to leave here? I don't see a carriage or horses or a car. Plus, these fish have saddles on them, and unless I really am on drugs, I swear I saw that guy-" She pointed at Lu, "riding one. We don't have much choice. This is all screwed up anyway, and I don't have the energy or the brains try anything else. I am resigned to my fate." She looked at Lu. "So are we going or what?"
