For the first year of her life, Kris tried to play it off as if she was Bruce's child, but everyone within the family knew that she wasn't. Pierce was left in the dark until Alexa was two, and he was informed that she was her child. At that point, the family wasn't very famous. Kris' ex-husband Robert was a prominent lawyer in Hollywood and was still reeling from his OJ victory, but fame only really hit the family when Lex was nine, and her sister's sex tape was leaked, followed by the beginning of their reality television show.
