As Ruin took off Lacy held on to his red mane, which was surprisingly warm and soft, as she felt the wind in her face and the strong and sure movements of the horse beneath her she felt joy begin to rise in her, she laughed happily as she enjoyed the ride.
" see told you calm and tame that's my ruin " he smile and continued running and looked at a huge bull looking thing coming their way he smiled and brace himself and began wrestling to the ground he smiled grabbing its horn " Lacy you tell me if another one is coming they often are found in packs"
he continued wrestling it till he manage to pin it down he put his blade through his neck he kneeled in front of it and began saying a small prayer for it the beast let out a small sigh and a blue light came from it disappearing into the sky
Lacy quickly averted her eyes as War stabbed the beast, but she saw a bright blue light shoot up into the air. "What was that?" She asked not turning around so she didn't see the carcass.

Lacy smiles slightly but keeps her head turned away, not wanting to see the animal's body. "I'm glad you think that way, there are a lot of humans who just hunt and kill for sport and don't have any respect or appreciation for the animals."
" I am part of nature the energy flows throught me that's how I thrive but from what you tell me earth needs some of the gods to return back and teach them again " he smiled and carried the beast with easy and walked over to lacy " I hope you help me with that as well " he put the beast down and helped lacy grabbing her by the hip and putting her gently down " I can't think of no one who would be better for that job "
Lacy blushed as she was lifted off the horse and looked down. "I would love to be able to help humans get back on the right track. I was actually going to go to college and study to be a environmentalist and try to help the earth."

Lacy smiled up at him. "Oh college is like the highest level of learning. As children grow up the are sent to school which is a place to learn many different skills, there are four levels of schooling, getting more and more complex as you move up. College is the highest level and is optional where as the first three are mandatory."
Veirnj just walked among the trees as he stumbled upon War and Lacy. Although, he just stared at them for the moment, looking at them. He lift his hand up at War again, the corruption slipped on the tip of his fingers like fire. In his own world, he already see War capitulating as Veirnj was holding him with his shadow, the world almost all corrupted. And he was sat on the throne that was once War's father's. And there she was, Lacy in a black dress, the corruption already reaching into her bones. But once he saw her like that, he gasped, getting out of his imagination as the corruption got away. There was something wrong with the picture. He almost felt guilty. But why? Killing War was already against his mind, but picturing him death isn't bothering him, but why picturing Lacy being corrupted seems more gruesome than killing War? He stood back a bit, feeling weird inside of him.
He held his head for a moment, shaking him. He remember what War's father said after the incident. On how much he was grateful for him to take the burden. What War doesn't know is that it wasn't his father's choice, but the ancient ones' choice. They took War first, but Veirnj overheard their discussion and said that they shouldn't. He said that they should take him. He still don't know why they decided to do so, but he knew that they made the right choice. War had so much to live for. And what does he have? Nothing. Wandering as the wanderer. A renegade of the realm of Alliora. They say his role is to even out the two of them - the Rideons and the Serions - but with Lacy now, he felt useless.
He would then smile. Now he understood what his role was. Well, the illusion he made to himself. He has to make the war happen, but not between the two kind of people. No, he needed to make them unified to battle against him. What was Lacy's role in there? He knew that she is the most important piece of the puzzle for he felt that she has the power to purificate the world. He looked over at the medallion and smirked a bit. "I'm sorry War, Lacy... everyone... but I have to turn my back on my own kind..." He closed his grip which made the medallion crack and he threw it out on the field where War and Lacy was and ran away as quick as he could. He heard the corruption's voice in his head again.
"What are you doing? Didn't you say you don't want to kill War thus?"
"I don't want to kill War, but it has been very clear that we are destined to be enemies. And thus, I need to forget about myself and accept my role as the antagonist of the story." He responded with a smirk
"Isn't going against what Axen told you? To never accept the corruption?" The dragon asked.
"Remind me that I killed him." He said in both sadness and happiness.
"Well, you know it was my fault." the dragon corrected him.
"I would even if you weren't in me. You were only giving me the power to do so." Veirnj said seriously afterward.
For a moment, the dragon said nothing, but a few seconds later, the corruption said: "Then, let me guide you. Remember the edge of the realm? Go there. They are waiting for you." Veirnj smirked, but what he didn't know is that he is leaving a huge trail of corrupted aura behind him.

war felt the dark energy close by he grab lacy and put him close to him " I got to check on veirjn stay close " he whistle for ruin and helped lacy on he got on as well and began riding towards the refuge he had made but when he got there he couldn't believe his eyes the corruption bubble of the ground war pulled his sword out " lacy if things get nasty ruin will take you away remember use the stone to call me " he said as the got close he lifted the sword up and fire began to come down burning the corruption .
Lacy stared in horror at the spot where they had last left Veirnj, it was now bubbling, as if the ground itself was infested with corruption, as War began to make his way down following the corruption she climbed off of ruin. "No, I'm going to stay with you, I need to help you, not just for you but Veirnj is my friend too."
" are you mad this thing nearly got in you once I can't let that happen you are much to valuable to the realm....and to me " he holded her hand still having his fire sword cut throught the thick darkness but the corruption ran deep into the ground
"You don't have to worry." She squeezed his hand tightly. "I know what this thing is now. It took Veirnj, it's caused so much pain for so many people but it's not gonna take me, I'm gonna help you stop this thing, I'm gonna save Veirnj." She began to glow, a gentle yet powerful white light emenated from her body and the corruption that was touched by this light evaporated as they walked. However Lacy held on tightly to War's hand, it was simple at first but she could soon feel the effort wearing her down.
After a while, he unconsciously bumped into a soldier. Veirnj groaned a bit as he landed on his back and quickly got up, looking at the soldier who was laughing at him.
"Being the wanderer, you sure look weak."
"Get out of my way..." Veirnj said, forming fists with his hands. The soldier only laughed more.
"What are you going to do? Fight me?"
"I said," Veirnj continued, lifting his hand up in the air as he caught the soldier in shadows. He suddenly smirked. "No, actually, you're going to distract someone for me."
The soldier squirmed. "I will never comply, you monster."
Veirnj only snickered. "Oh?" He suddenly fill the soldier with corruption, transforming him into an hideous monster. "Well then, who is the monster now? hmm?" He let the now monster out of his grip. "You will go and try to stop War to get in my way, okay? If you do good, I let you have something special." The monster nodded, rapidly running off to get in War's way. Veirnj only smirked, shaking his head. "Dear me, he will fail. Oh well." He continued to run off, only looking ahead.

" you never cease to impress me Lacy " he smiled and held her hand blushing but the moment was soon ended he felt the dark energy the monster was already ontop of them he pushed lacy away and the monster grabbed his head and smashed against the ground throwing him a couple yards away war lay there trying to get his bearing purple blood gushing from his lip " lacy get on ruin and get to a safe distance ".
Lacy screamed as she saw War being thrown like a rag doll. As War told her to run, blood gushing from his mouth she felt something take over her. Completely ignoring his word she rushed in front of him blocking him from the monster as it charged at them, the monster knocked Lacy to the side and she hit a tree and slumped to the ground.
" no !!!!!! " as war saw this an anger flowed and his body began to glow red ashes cover his body and he know looked more like a red dragon with ash for scales he his sword was now cover like him he stabbed the monster and throwed him into the ground his sword move to its chest and it began to glow red and the monster evaporated into nothing but war did not return to his normal self he began trashing the ground and the nearby forest he flew up and watche the darkness and came down on it he began pounding the ground.
Veirnj finally arrived at the edge of the realm. Unlike Earth that was spherical, the realm was actually flat and had an end. But once he got there, he suddenly knelt down as he held his head, screaming at the memory of him being corrupted. It hurted a lot, but his own corruption soon stopped that pain and modified his memory so instead of a feeling pain it would be a feeling of happiness. The wanderer now smirked, rising up as he stared at the edge of the realm.
"Now what?" He asked to the dragon.
"Just step forward." Veirnj did so, but instead of falling, he was pushed back by some kind of force. The dragon growled a bit. "What you have done to that medallion?"
"I... um, threw it?" he responded a bit uncertain. He suddenly felt like if he was hit on the head.
"You fool! It is a gateway to the corrupted realm of Alliora! Got get it back!" The dragon seemed angry. Veirnj shook his head.
"Fine fine, whatever you said." He started to run back to where he first saw them, bitting his bottom lips. 'Hope they got away...' he thought to himself.

Her eyes widened and she seemed to move on instinct, despite the pain in her leg and shoulder she rushed up to the ash covered War. "War stop!" Her arms wrapped around him from behind, she winced as she felt her the hot coals burn her skin.
As soon as war felt the touch of Lacy he was clam the red turn to blue before it disappeared watching Lacy and gilded her he pulled the sacred water bottle and began using the water to heal her injuries " I I I I'm sorry Lacy I didn't want you to see me like that I'm so ashamed " he looked down
