Appearance: Contrary to his personality, Kitaru's appearance gives the impression of a tall, dark, and reserved individual. His hair is at a length where is can easily fall and conceal his face, and is such a dark mahogany color that in the right light it comes off as black. His eyes, like his ears and tail, are feline; and are a dark gray color with a pointed pupil. He has a thin, feminine bone structure that leaves his face open and expressive. Even if he tried, he would never be able to conceal his emotions, leaving him an open book when it comes to close relationships of his. Long hours of hard work in his clan has left his skin permanently tanned, and is only marred by small cuts from when he was bullied as a child.
He has an odd, eccentric sense of style that is hard to put into words, and incorporates it into everything he wears, even his uniform. Neon colors and sweaters are a huge plus, and are what he usually wears whenever he can. He really just likes to wear warm clothes and accessories that aren't restrictive to his feline features, but certain things like headphones are out of the question.
Personality: As a child, Kitaru was always the odd one out. His odd inclination for things like flowers and sweets along with his inability to participate in most physical sports made him the target of other childrens' anger, and so he was bullied often. But other than causing him to gain an aversion to violence, he took that pain and used it to become a stronger person. He has a strong heart, and puts the welfare of others above his own, even if it means hurting himself. Because of his expressive features, he has long since abandoned the idea of hiding his true feelings, and everything he says you can trust comes from his heart. Simply put, he's a sweetheart. He is a huge romantic, and has been looking forward to a day when he can settle down with the person he loves- but he is still careful with the kind of person he falls for. He has a deep fear that his heart will be broken, and while he can be very romantic and do the kindest things, his heart will never be truly out there.
