Name: Evelyn Greyheart
Race: Human
Sex: Female
Age: 56

Abilities: Being very, very, very scary to people under her authority.

Appearance: Close your eyes. Think of the word 'prude'. See that old woman that comes to mind? Make her meaner, and put more make-up on her. There you have Evelyn. The queen of far-too-many layers of petticoats, icily stern glares and authoritarian discipline, if she had ever had children, or a husband, they would have been very, very unhappy people. Bony and tight-lipped in her old age, Evelyn is not the 'jolly short old woman' who often appears as grandma. She is more akin to the rigidly postured, carefully pruned evil stepmother that locks Cinderella in because balls are for rampant harlots who think that they can pick up men by wearing dresses with necklines and other such scandalous activities.

Equipment: Aside from general, average accoutrements for a woman of her age (which while extensive, are not worthy of note), Evelyn is in possession of The Stick. The Stick is a curious length of polished black wood, that one might think would be unassuming. However, the moment that you lay eyes upon The Stick, it just screams capital letters at you, and makes a point of being an incredibly proper noun. The Stick is the device with which Evelyn exacts her discipline, whether it be cracking it across the knuckles of her workers or cracking the head of a rowdy youngster. It does a lot of cracking of other things, and any and all attempts to sabotage it have thusfar been unsuccessful, leading to the popular rumour that The Stick has developed a sentience of its own, and quite consciously works to foil the plots of ne'er do wells who would rather Evelyn no longer possessed it.

Personality: The perfect candidate for goddess of Order, Evelyn does everything exactly as it is supposed to be done, and if the people working for her don't, then they don't work for her for very long. She is very much not the kindly old woman, taking instead the role of a hateful and authoritarian tyrant. Evelyn clings to her authority like a lifeline, because aside from small circles of similarly unpleasant women, she has absolutely no friends, nor family. At heart, she is an incredibly sad woman, living alone with only her cynical cat Jackson for company, perhaps she might be a little bit nicer if anyone took the time to get to know her.

History: Evelyn is the daughter of a very proper family of printers, who run a business known rather aptly as "Greyheart's Printers" in a major city of Braesorn. Her father and mother were around as stern as her, and her upbringing was devoid of very much love. She was the only child of her parents, who died when she was in her mid-twenties, in an almost entirely inexplicable explosion at one of their factories. Supposedly the letters 'F' and 'U' were embedded in her father's forehead after the blast, but most people consider that as just 'one of those things that would have been cool, but didn't really happen'.

Rather than seek to take control of her father's business and wrestle it out of the pit of hard labour and cold-hearted disregard for its workers, Evelyn instead sought to take control of her father's business and make it even more nasty. This wasn't the intention, of course, but it was a by-product of making it more efficient, more profitable and more productive. Now it's not uncommon for someone to die every two weeks because of cost cutting measures on safety.

Other Important Information: Jackson, the cynical cat, is rather intelligent, to the point that he might even be possessed by a minor demon. He occasionally talks, but doesn't tend to say anything helpful, or be within earshot at the time. He also tends to make it sound a lot like "Meow", just in case. He and The Stick often have lengthy conversations, because The Stick is similarly possessed. Or it might be the same demon, neither of them are quite sure, but they agree that if it is, then he must be an excellent conversationalist to be able to keep both sides up and not get repetitive.

Starting Location: An industrial city on Braesorn.

"Chosen"?: Yes, Order.
