Introduction

You don't remember what happened, but now you're in an asylum. You're room is blank and white with cushions covering each wall. You're not in a straight jacket so you must not have been that destructive. the is a glass window that you can open that has a warm meal in it. The glass in unbreakable as far as you're concerned. What did you do to get here? What happened? You must of hurt someone. But why? You feel stupid for not remembering. But now atleast it's over. But how do you get out? You can see through some of the walls. There is a little door leading you to the other patients, but there are no doctors or staff are anywhere. They must have a hidden door somewhere. But you know if you really mess up, you'll be sent to the permanent loony bin.

Luke looked up at her his gaze seeming deep in thought. "Only if you stop twitching and looking around like that. It's freaking me out." He pushed himself back in his room and got up. He started rubbing at his hips. "Why do they make those doors so freaking small? Maybe they don't trust us insane people." He stretched out his legs and smiled, motioning the girl over.

Allis walked quickly inside, examining the room and seeing that it was almost exactly the same as hers. "Th-thanks for letting me in..." She shuffled nervously and tried to adjust her straitjacket, but gave up. Allis sat down. Next to a doll. SH*T! She blinked. It was gone, so she jumped back onto her feet and smiled again.

Luke gazed at her, his head still in his hand. "You're sweating like mad everywhere. There is something wrong. So might as well tell me, or I'll figure out. And you really should change the positions of your hands or they might get stuck that way." He picked up his head and straightened his back, still looking at the girl. "I mean you're flipping out, blinking your eyes every second, and tossing yourself around the room. Is there some problem with this room or me?"

Luke looked at her straight in the eye. "There are no dolls. You're safe here. I swear. If you do see any dolls, just tell me. Every time. Got it?" He forced her arms out of the odd formation. "We were put here so we could be safe from any and all danger. That way nothing but ourselves can get in and out. There is not and will not be any dolls."

Luke looked at her. "Fine, fine. But, I don't know if it'll help, I was told to do this every time anyone went insane." He reached down and grabbed her back, then tugged her in, in a hugging notion. He started saying words in a different language with his eyes closed. "Please stop these visions from appearing in this soul's head and spare her," he spoke in English. Then he took some yarn out of his pocket and tied it around her neck. "There. It's supposed to be a spell. I hope it works. If it doesn't, I apologize."

Allis twirled her hair and swallowed the rest of her waffle before skipping back into her room for a brief second. She drinks a glass of orange juice and pushes the glass back in, only to have it and the plate exchanged for a bowl of macaroni with a side of strawberries, and a glass of water. Excitedly Allis shovels a spoonful of macaroni into her mouth and skips back over to Luke, wiping her mouth on her wrist before exclaiming, "Ooh! You got lunch too! What'd you get...um, Luke?"

Unhappy now, Allis put down her bowl of macaroni and bounced over to him. "Come on, you can fit in the door, numbskull!" She grabbed his arm and pulled him through the doorway, squeezing his stomach and such through the tiny doorway. Eventually he got in and she dragged him onto the couch where he could eat. She just sat on the floor and watched him eat; it had felt like so long since she had seen anyone.
