Personality Alistair has always lived in his older sisters shadow. As such he often appears as the model son whenever his public face must be put on, even with his noticeable facial accessory (i.e. the patch over his left eye). When not having to entertain his families friends and associates, he is a laid-back and irreverent individual. He has a dry sense of humor and will often be cynical if the situation calls for it. He displays little respect for authority and says whatever is on his mind, regardless of whether or not it is appropriate. This attitude is likely in response to his sister, who is much the considered perfect in the eyes of any who meet her. While his sister is known for often being stoic and heroic in battle, Ally often appears uninterested and like his opponent is boring him. However, when faced with someone as strong, or stronger than, him he will often reveal a near sadistic grin on his face due to his excitement. Despite this, he possesses a feral cunning and has a knack for quickly exploiting any opening his opponent reveals.
History: What you would expect, quite honestly. His parents were overbearing, always demanding perfection from Alistair and his sister. Due to this Ally learned to create two different versions of himself; The Hero Facade, and The Normal Version. One minute he would appear well-mannered, noble and perfect, but the moment the door closed, Ally would be lethargic and uninterested. He really thought his sister would always be with him, but the moment he lost his left eye during their first hunt, that all changed. His sister distanced herself as their parents started focusing more on her. While Ally would spend his time wandering the house with nothing to do, she would train with their father. His sister was a natural-born heroine, and Ally was just an unmotivated kid with little to know talent. That was the order of things as his parents saw them. Alistair enrolled in Lasird Academy thinking that the place would ensure that he wouldn't have to keep looking over his shoulder. But, the Academy was, of course, the exact opposite of what he had envisioned. The others basically forced him into the war and when they learned who his sister was, of course they naturally assumed he was going to be just as strong and fearless as her. So, with literally little to no effort on his part, Alistair became Second-in-Command to the Human gang. If asked, he can't explain why he gets excited about fighting a strong opponent, but one can guess it has to do a lot with it being easier to imagine them as his older sibling.
