Lynnie Swakwoski's Story

Daniel sigh and hold Clara and Lynnie by him "this will be a thing that will always be hunting us no matter where we are, humans just want us gone and have the planet to themselves without looking to the ones that might want to live with humans or are not like the rest" Daniel said sad and walked went to the fireplace and stoke the fire a bit "come let's wait and if they call for help let me handel it, okay?" he asked Clara and Lynnie and watch them

Lynnie shapeshifted into a human. "No way am I just going to watch!" She wanted to help, so far she'd been no help at all. 'I could come up from up top.' She thought about that and shapeshifted into an eagle, and flew outside before anyone could protest. She could distract the men and then Kirsten and Riley could kill them maybe?

Riley returned with both hunters drug behind her by their collars, she put them in a pile. "Kirsten, burn them, now" she called to her sister, and went in to see if everyone was okay. "Clara is getting the last one" she said looking at Daniel and Lynnie.

((Clara is actually helping Riley with the hunters))

Kirsten transformed into a small dragon and flew down to the bodies, exhailing white hot fire, burning them to a crisp, after that, she shifted into a human and ran inside, grabbing the leaf blower, and began dispersing the ashes.

Daniel nodded and sigh, he felt the urge to help and kill the last hunter but he had to restrain himself from it, he knew how dangerous he could become if he only tasted human flesh or blood and he didn't want that to happen to him and scare his new friends with what was lurking with in him

As Clara rounded the bend of the eastern border she saw him, the last hunter, she supposed he had gotten separated from the rest of them. She crouched down, her massive lioness shape lying as close to the ground as possible, her golden eyes scanning him, waiting. He heard her growl and as he was leveling up his shot Clara pounced forward lunging at him, as she did the hunter screamed out as she tackled him.
"Oh God no!" As he fell to the ground a small photo fell out of him and a small child . . . Clara's brow crinkled in worry, her large golden eyes scanned the man with sorrow in them. She couldn't let him know about this place, he couldn't live through this encounter but yet . . . This little boy in the photo appears to still be a baby. She shook her head as she shifted slowly and gracefully into a human with wings and long white hair.

"Young man, thou art trespassing upon holy land. . . " Clara had hoped this form would make him believe her to be an angel of some sort. "I will now take you home. Your son, he will be cared for, if you tell me where you live." She shifted her right hand into sharp powerful claws and held it behind her back. The man's face became happy, relieved.
"My son, his name is Xavier, please. . . If that lioness has killed me, please take care of him." With that the man told Clara where he lived. Wincing inwardly she did away with the man, shuddering with sorrow over taking his life, he was probably just a member of some hunting party. Maybe he was just hunting deer. Clara shook it off, shifting into a Greyhound she sprinted as quickly as she could to the house of the hunter, then she would go back to the castle with the others. She would discuss with them what to do about the human baby she now was responsible for.

Clara shifted nervously into a Kangaroo and hopped back to the castle, the young human in her pouch, she hushed the babe gently as she saw the fighting was over and the wolves were playing on the lawn with Riley observing.

"H-hey guys . . ." Clara said shyly, feeling scared of what they would think of the baby human called Xavier. . . Clara decided to change his name then, she'd claim him as her own son. She silently named him Elwin. Smiling sheepishly as she approached the rest of the people on the lawn.

Daniel stopped playing and watch Clara "why do you have a human baby with you?" He asked and walk to her. Once he got by her Daniel sniffed the baby softly and let him grab his snout, Daniel smiled and nuzzle his chest softly, this might be a chance to show humans they weren't bad but that just like them there are good and bad people

Lynnie gasped, and looked at Xavier, "Awww...he's adorable! Can we keep him? Can we keep him? Please...can we? Awww..." before her inner instinct said, "What if he's a shapeshifter or a vampire? Oh yeah! Adorable little baby hello! Awww...are we keeping him?" She repeated herself over and over but she had to get the answer, "Is this your biological baby?"

"I HAVE AN IDE--nope, no, I don't. Never mind," she suddenly announced before blushing.

Kirsten had been inside the castle, pacing in her human form, she really did not enjoy burning bodies but she had to keep her new family safe. She could hear the heart beat of a human child. Her eyes grew dark as she walked outside, to where the rest of the clan was. "A baby, huh?" she questioned, her arms crossed, her mind spinning as she thought this over, leaning against the walls of the castle.

As Riley heard the human heart beat too, she ran upstairs and locked herself up stairs. Babies blood was far too rich to resist. Her eyes went from white to red, she knew she couldn't attack a mere child, she begun shredding her bed, biting the head board and tearing huge chunks out of her frame.

"Kirsten, can we keep him, please? Aww...he's so cute!" Lynnie bent down next to Daniel and was tempted to pick the baby up but he had Daniel's nose, "I love babies they are so cute!" She started talking to Xavier, "Who's an adorable little baby? Who's an adorable little baby? You are, yes you are!"

Daniel softly pull his snout free and watch Lynnie "the human boy has 2 sides to him, this cute side and a shadow it takes with him, the humans have a fear for us and that turns into hate, with this boy we might have a chance to change their minds and show them that there are, just like them, good and bad people. But that we have triggers that make us act like monsters" Daniel said and watch Riley sprint off "as you can see Riley has hers with the blood off the baby" he said before he went upstairs to hold her. As he got a grip on Riley she could easily bit him but he didn't mind "he, he, he! It's alright, I can smell it too but relax and focus on me and only me" he said and try to calm her down, though his blood was richer then any humans

Lynnie picked up the baby and held him, "Who's cute? Who's cute? You are! Yes you are!" She loved little kids. "Aww...what's his name?" She cuddled him quietly. She knew he'd like that. For some reason, she understood babies.

Clara shifted into human form as she saw Lynnie holding her new son, she felt some jealousy, some anger. She shook it off and smiled warmly.
"Xavier. His name is Xavier Elwin Bordeaux, my darling boy." Clara stood by Lynnie and watched as Xavier laughed and giggled at her and Lynnie. Clara understood why that man loved his son so much. Children were beautifully simplistic creatures. Clara thought to herself quietly as she cooed and fawned over her son over Lynnie's shoulder, she thought she loved this boy already, she would fight for him. No matter what.

Lynnie could tell Clara didn't like it, "Sorry, he's just too cute!" She turned to Daniel, "If he's Clara's baby, doesn't that make him shapeshifter?" She handed Xavier back to Clara, not sure why she'd suddenly got a baby but wasn't life about trust? "So he'd been living with his dad or..." She didn't seem to let it affect her.

Daniel walked in and sigh at Lynnie statement "Lynnie, before I left, I did say that the boy was a human baby, I would have noticed if he was a shapeshifter, and I know why it's a human baby but I won't tell you unless Clara is okay with it" he said and stood by Clara and pet her shoulder "you did the right thing, on his own he would have died there but are you sure the mother isn't alive or there?" He whispered to Clara. Daniel would take care of the boy like he was his own child, a child that couldn't change like him but still could have fun with though he didn't forget about Kristen that she was/might be interested in him

Walking out of the shadows of the castle, Kirsten approached the child her hands behind her back, clasped together, not wanting to touch it, as if it had some kind of illness. "I guess it is alright with me, after all, I do plan on having a child with Daniel, if he wishes to" she said, looking at the child, before going back inside.

Clara watched them all discussing her boy, her Xavier. She glanced over at Kirsten and Daniel. She wouldn't let them take Xavier. . . She didn't know them well enough, no enough to trust them, not after all she had been through in her life. No way in Hell. She wrapped her arms around Xavier tighter, clutching him close to her chest nuzzling her hair.
"I don't know about his previous family, all I know is he is my son. My boy, my dear one now. If the mother tries to reclaim him . . . I will, well I'll decide what is best then." Clara shifted holding Xavier as he smiled and tugged onto her hair. She turned slowly into her original form, large green eyes, white hair, pink skin, and a serpentine tongue that would flicker out occasionally. The baby looked up at her with his deep brown eyes and looked confused before smiling again and laughing. He cooed and screeched flailing his arms around happily. Clara sighed and rubbed noses with him.

Daniel nodded and pat Clara's back "okay, I will help where I can" he said and watch Kirsten "jumping the gun, he he..." He said a bit shy, he did guess Kirsten would want to have a child with him but bringing it out like this was unexpected "yeah, a child of our own would be nice but it's your decision when"

Kirsten watched from inside the castle as they all cooed over the baby, "Well I was thinking now" she said with a smile and went to the bedroom. (this part we're just going to say is the next day)
