Alan's hand shot out as the man reached for Sura stopping about a centimeter away from the Dark's bicep, One false move and Alan could give him a dead arm and an ache that would last. Sure this ment Alan was only holding Sura with one arm, But as always the shadows helped moving in swiftly and acting like a second arm.

He looked down at Sura as she mentioned weight and shook his head lightly "No, No I am fine honest" and true to his word he was, But he was also completely oblivious at the time to Sura having her 'walls' snap back into place.

((Sorry it took so long and is so short, I was having a bit of a mental block.))

(god this is going to suck lol)

Sura watched the other man trot off before looking up at Alan. She didn't like awkward silences but she really didn't know what to say. "I'm..sorry..about before. You know I guess I have spent so much time trying not to care about those not caring..that I , well, I miss when someone does care." If she had been on her feet she would have turned invisable and hidden away, away from teh feelings and emotions, but right now she couldn't do that and maybe that was what was causing her to open up.

Sura then changed the subject, "I think we should go help that man..he could help us out, if he can survive a fall like that he must have some pretty powerful talents."

Alan sighed looking at the ground where his foot was digging into the dirt, "Yeah your right I should" he mumbled, It wasn't that Alan hadn't realized this it just he didn't really want to talk to the man since his landing had hurt Sura.
By the time he woke from his thoughts the man was out of site he would have to shadow-walk and that would mean leaving Sura, Gillian's words came to mind and as usual she was right they were not hopeless even if he was overprotective Sura could look after he self for at least a couple minutes.
He looked into Sura's eyes "I am going to have to leave you here to catch up with him" he said before gently laying her on the grass and stepping into the shadows of the trees, once in the shadows they would darken until Alan was unable to be seen and then grow light again but with one difference this time he wouldn't be there, A second after the shadows lightened and he was gone they would move towards Sura gaining solidness and length till a walking stick was lying next to her.

Alan could not see, He could not hear, In fact none of his senses would work but yet he knew exactly where he was. Shadows move fast, As fast as light really since they are ying and yang, The difference is no one cares about the darkness, The shadow, People don't want to know because they prefer the light because they can see if that is a snake moving the grass in front of them or if it is simply a trick of the wind and lack of light.
But now Alan was the darkness, He could feel it from where it was in the best places on earth to the worst, The cleanest and the dirtiest. That is why Alan tried not to do this as much as he could, He was the shadow from a bullet and the shadows caused by the blood splattering all over the street, He was there as people did things he would rather not think about, He was all of it and it was all him.

The journey took less then a second and Alan stepped out of the trees and in front of the man named Dark, "I am sorry for my earlier hostility"

After Alan had left to follow the other man, Sura gently hobbled her way into standing position using the walking stick he had left her. Looking around she nibbled on her lip as she tried to figure out the best way back to the school would be and taking a deep breath she took a tentative step in the right direction with a cringe. "Son of a b-!" She closed her eyes and concentraited on just making it back to civilization, talking to herself through the pain.

Half way there she had to stop and sit down on a fallen tree log and take a breather. The school hadn't seemed that far when they walked out here before. "God, if i'm lost i will be extremely pissed off." After a couple more minutes she stood back up and using the walking stick alittle more than before she continued towards where she thought the school was. Soon she was proven right by the sight of the building. "Oh finally!"

Dark flicks his eyes to the side, watching the boy from earlier materialize out of nowhere. Well now that was interesting, if a bit creepy... Even more surprising was when he heard.... an apology? 'Huh. Wonder of wonders, wheres Ripley when you need him?' he thought to himself. Thinking it best not to look like a prick, Dark just shrugged it off and kept walking ,"Nah, its alright. Its my fault really. Never did believe in a subtle entrance. I think its kinda nice having all eyes on me so... eh"

The thought just trailed off into the distance along with his sentence before he thought to ask, "So uh... What should i be doing first?"

((Hello ppl, do u mind if i join this RP?I have already posted my hero: Roger Huster))

As he left the boat, his large, rubber boots stamped in a small puddle of water. Now they were wet and, as he walked forward, they started making an annoying noise that only wet rubber boots can do. His green military-like pants were as clean and dry as his sleevless T-shirt. Huster didnt sweat. Stones dont sweat. The strong, 16 years old man inside that T-shirt would hardly go unnoticed. His whole body was fully made of non-reflective blue stones. His stones had an impure and inconsistant aspect, varying from Cool black to Cerulean Blue. In terms of shape he was much like a normal human.

"just dont break anything and try to smile. You are not a monster" he thought to himself as he aproached to the school entrance. Roger Huster was really nervous and apprehensive. Inside his heart he still felt as he was a monster and utterly feared not being accepted. "This place will be full of monsters like you, being a monster is normal here", his mind was trying to convince his heart. Huster transverssed now the main gates, entering the front garden. He could see the school doors widely open a few steps from him. Once inside he scanned the area with his eyes. "they are all normal" he thought with disillusion as he saw some students. Huster was expecting a place loaded of bizzare creatures with the most awkward features. After that a new wave of fear bashed in his heart, but no one else could realize that. His face was emotionless but he was tense and the noise of his boots had intensified as he walked on the marble.

Huster headed towards an old woman behind a counter who seemed to be a secretary and than he stood in a kind of military halt stance."Now smile" he thought, whithout smiling. He almost did a salute gesture but than remembered; "Crap, i am not in the army anymore". "Hi I am..." he tried to say his name before being interrupted. "Roger Huster, i know. Just sign here." she said with a grumpy voice. He signed, she took the papers and said; "Battle Training started 10 minuts ago, you are late and will be penalised". "But i just..." he tried. "Rules are rules. The arena is the number seven." she replied with the same ill-tempered voice, pointing at the huge map at the wall behind her". Huster stared at the map, trying to memorize the way and than broke away to the arena. "rules are rules after all" he thought.

"Um...Nope!" Gillian ducked behind a passerby and slipped into the crowd. She mingled among them, trying not to stick out, standing with a posse of friends here, cheering with another the next. Crap! She travelled as far as possible away from him. This Irishgirl was definitely not better, not up, no way, no how.... Clearly shown by the way she had just tripped.

((this one is huge; i will try to make shorter posts from now))

Huster finally saw the door which leaded to outside, to the arena. Standing close to the door was someone who seemed to be a teacher, who said at first sight of Huster; "So you are the new student, Roger Huster, right? You are late and will be penalised." "I know." Huster replied a bit pissed. "And here; Take this mask." the teacher said displaying a combat mask. "No thanks." Huster replied without a single glance at the mask. The teacher layied his hand at Huster`s shoulder and said an standard memorized phrase;"You must use the mask, it will protect both your face and your identity.". Both ideas seemed comical to Huster; as if that thin metal layer could defend him anyhow. Also funny was the idea of the mask protecting his identity, as if no one could guess who was the blue stone man behind it. How many times in his life he intensely wished that this fabulous mask existed; a mask that could turn him a normal, indistinguishable human. Huster took the mask and entered the arena.

Most kids had already battled, few remained at the arena. There was a teacher there, who said at first sight of Huster;"So you are the new student right? You are late and will be penalised." Huster and gave himself an angry mental facepalm. "There is a late student here, does anyone desire to fight him?" the teacher shouted to the remaining students. Amongst them there was a blond, also masked, boy who sized Huster. This boy striked a large rock with his naked right fist, shattering it into a thousand shards. "Breaking rocks... is my specialty" he said, attempting to taunt Huster. This was followed by seconds of appalling silence.

The boy launched himself towards Huster in a burst of speed. His body bending foward, his right fist close to his head.Only now that his vast, steel muscles were fully tensed one could perceive his true strenght; he was a bastion of raw power. Huster did the same. Two titans were to colide, many covered they ears for the sake of that. Right before the impact both opponent raised their spare hands, in an attempt to block the incoming blow

It thundered loud when muscle and stone collided, a sound followed with stone cracking noise. Husters arms were cracking at many spots. An edgy instant it was; At any moment his arms could shatter like that rock from seconds before. Scared, the teacher shouted; "You, Stop this fight now!". The boy simply ignored him and struggle even more to finish what he started. the stone man answered not with words, but with action. Suddently, a feeble shine seemed to come out of his body, it seemed that his body was now a little more reflexive and internal light refraction made it look like if his body irradiated a lean light. The crackings stopped.Huster had matched his opponents strength; he faced the blond guy expecting something from him; a word, a look, a reaction... but his oppontent had his eyes closed and there was tense agony stamped at his sweating face. The stone man waited for several seconds but received no answer."Lets end this" he thought. Suddently his stone body changed drastically. His opaque stones were now shining transluscent crystals, his stones had now a heavenly pure aspect and were irradiating celestial bright. Huster forced his opponent with both arms, attempting not to hurt him, but only to destabilize; than he took advantage of this moment to grab the boy`s waist with his left hand and lifted him towards the sky with no effort, he also spinned him 180 degrees and, with his right hand he grabbed the boy in his chest, just behind his arm.The Crystal Giant held his foe as if he were a trophy. The Crystal Giant...now this name made all sense! Roger Huster didnt really grew in size, but this show of titanic mighty gave the impression he was HUGE, a real giant. Also he was not a rock anymore, his body was now a beautiful crystal irradiating celestial bright.

The blond boy was now mad, with beserker rage he started performing mighty, noisy blows at Husters head. His hands were hammers, but The Crystal Giant was an anvil; he seemed not to fell those blows

"You can end this fight now" Huster said without looking to the teacher."I can only stop a battle if a contestant wants so or if someone seems to be in danger." he answered with such joy that all around could notice he disliked the poor blond guy."Also, Andrew is trully resistant, there is no motive to stop this fight" he ended with tha same gayness in his voice, only later he would realize he revealed Andrews identity, which was forbidden. The Crystal Giant forced his hands, evaluating Andrews resistance; he was incredible resistant, yet he could break him in two if he wished so. Suddently the school map((the one he tried to memorize last post)) flashed in his head; he got an idea. "What if Andrew simply left the arena perimeter?" The Crystal Giant asked while bending his arms to his back. In a catapult like act he tossed his foe into air. Andrew flew a silent flight over the school roof; this flight ended with a sound of something falling at water. The scene was not only impressive but it also seemed to be somehow funny. Huster than uncharged the energy within his stones, his body was again a dark-blue, opaque stone. The whole fight he showed no facial expression, but when he saw the huge smile at the teachers face he let a small sarcastic smile escape

Alan shrugged "Go to the arena, Sign in and fight, Well fight unless you are to late" he said once again shrugging. They soon walked out of the forest and right next to the arena just in time to see Andrew get thrown, He couldn't say he cared really he had never liked Andrew, It had always been him and Andrew fighting for the final and now Alan could send that chump out of the arena in minutes, It was about time he had someone new.

The umpire looked around and noticed Alan "Pericolso" He called "Finals now against big blue come one", The umpire threw one of the masks at him but it melted in mid air as Alan began walking into the arena. As Alan entered the arena half the crowd started cheering his name while the other half called for the blue guy to throw him, He grinned at the blue man, Alan stood far over him, Alan stood far over most people but this man had a sense of power that not even Alan would take for granted.

Huster was relieved after his fight, all nervousness was brushed away. Now he could enjoy the warm, spring sun and the freshness of the air. He closed his stone eyes right before hearing the teacher, or umpire, he did not knew exactly.
"Finals now against big blue come one." He listened. The crowd also started to make noise. As he opened his eyes he saw another man, much taller and stronger than the last one standing before him. All his serenity vanished. He came seeking a place to live, a place to be accepted but it was not what was happening. Again he would be a fighting puppet, every enemy he defeated would be replaced again and again by a taller and stronger one. Also he didnt liked being called the 'big blue', the teacher knew his name already.

With fury he took his mask out, smashing it on the ground causing a huge hole. he than shouted targeting the crowd with a mighty deep voice. "What you think i am? A beast? A moster? I gave you a fight already." than he shouted to the teacher "AND YOU!! you know my name: Its HUSTER". he than turned to leave, but did not walked away, he had one last thing to say. Huster turned to Alan and said with a much calmer voice; "And you; dont let they turn you into a fighting puppet just because you are strong".
The stone man turned again towards the door he entered.

Sura gimped her way into the arena area, she was sweating and out of breath as the pain wore her out. She looked around for Alan or anyone else she knew but her attention was distracted by a big blue rock man yelling at the students and teacher. She blinked in surprise then started laughing. As the saying goes he must have stones for balls, she'd been wanting to say something like that all day. Then she noticed Alan was the one in the arena and she moved so he could see her then sat down to get off her ankle.

A few moments later and teacher asst. came up and asked her what was wrong and she told them that she had fallen and twisted her ankle, leaving out the man making a crater and sneaking out with Alan, just in case there was a problem with that. He nodded and told her to follow him, and so with a sigh and a grunt Sura climbed back onto her feet and limped after the him. They passed Huster and she grinned at him. "Pretty cool, hope we get to talk soon." She wanted to stop and talk to him but the teacher asst. tapped his foot impatiently. Sura looked at him "Yeah yeah I'm coming, jesus."

Huster was leaving the arena nervously. At first he didnt noticed Sura there; she was just another girl at the crowd. But than he heard her voice: "Pretty cool, hope we get to talk soon." She was the very first person at that island to treat him gently.Huster than thought to himself;"Ok, now just try to smile; SMILE you fool" but without success. The Crystal Giant than saw the teacher he yelled at and assistant comming with a stretcher to take her. Huster doubted if she would be ok with that brainless teacher. He waited until she was lying safe at the stretcher to come closer. As he aproached, the teacher went white and seemed to fart something solid. Husters face was emotionless as he kneeld near Sura."Try to smile" he thought again. The map flashed in his head; the hospital was marked with the number 5. "Let me help you with this" he lifted the stretcher with no effort."The hospital is not far from here" he added, heading to there. The teacher than broke away to the nearest toilet.
Huster was still disturbed as he left the arena; so many feelings blended in his heart... And now he added a new one; Regret; Regret for raging madly a couple of minuts ago. He felt in a great urge of explaining himself.
"You must already know my name..." he has certain of that, as he just shouted it to the whole crowd. "...and I dont know yours yet." he completed and took some breath before continuing; "But before that i feel like i needed to apologize for going bezerk that way in the arena." Huster than managed to hold the stretcher with only with the right arm, but in a safe way. Than he showed his left arm, a dark-blue stone arm filled with cracks. "My fate was to be born with no flesh, no skin and no bones, but just rocks. But my fate is not to be a monster." he closed his eyes for a second before continuing; "Only recently I realized that, but now I will let no one drag me again into this path." As he noticed a small but sprouting rage comming from his voice he stoped again to breath; "Than you saw what happend there at the arena; first the 'teacher' gave me full consent to kill that Andrew-man." He recalld the moment he had Andrew in his arms, fragile like a stick, and the 'teacher' did not ended the fight. "And than, in a blink I was again, pulled into another fight... But I wont let this anymore".

Huster knew this was not the time for saying so much, but he needed to let off some stream

( OOC: sorry it took me so long to reply, dunno if others had this problem but the site wouldn't let me in for a while)

Sura tried to tell the man with the stretcher that she didn't need one. Jesus it was just a sprained ankle she didn't need the whole 9 yards here. But since it seemed to be out of her control she decided to go with it and got onto the bed on wheels. "This is rediculous." She felt like a side show freak on this thing. She was so caught up in trying to look like being on a stretcher didnt bother her that she didn't notice the rock man Huster walk up to where she sat. As he bent to pick up the stretcher she let out a yelp in surprise, and all she could do was stare there in stunned silence as he spoke about his birth and fate. As he seemed to run out of things so say Sura found her voice. "Alright first thing, you don't go around picking people up, stretcher or no, without asking. Second I'm Sura and I totally agree with you on the whole fighting thing. Third, you seem like a nice guy so please put me down, I have a sprained ankle I'm not an invalid." She might have came off alittle rude when Huster was trying to help but she really had a problem with bounderies and being held up on a small metal cot really popped her personal bubble so to speak. The only person able to push past her bounderies has been Alan, and thats a completely different story. Speaking of Alan, if only mentally to herself, she tried to peek around Huster to see if she could catch a glimpse of Alan, but she gave up when she couldn't see past the big blue shouler. Sura looked back up at him, "Listen, you don't wanna be a puppet anymore? Well you need to speak with Alan about that. Hes trying to get some students together to help get out of here." She paused, "You gonna put me down?"

((No, No, What I ment was Alan had fought him so many times it had became second nature to send him flying.))

Alan was shocked by Hustler speech but he still had to fight not to laugh, Hustler had called him a puppet, Of all people him, If Alan was a puppet the rest of the world had no hope. After a couple minutes the teacher shrugged at him and he stepped into the shadow and disappeared. Yes he hated it, Yes he knew it was likely not good for his sanity, But yes it was his greatest power and yes he needed to learn to cope with it.

He reappeared near Sura and Hustler, As he picked her up he tensed but relaxed as he noticed the stretcher and remembered her sprained ankle. He walked over to her and Hustler as Sura mentioned him although she was looking the other way, He put his hand under the stretcher on the side which didn't have Hustlers arm under it, He touched Sura's shoulder before looking at Hustler "I am Alan".

Huster was taken by surprise. Carrying stretches with wounded soldiers was for him totaly natural, almost a habit. But the girls words awakened the stone man; he was not in the 'army' anymore. He was but a fool: first all that yelling at the arena and now this. Huster agreed with most of her words, but with the part Sura said she was fine. Poor humans, only then didnt realized how brittle they are. Many lost a foot or an arm at the most innocent, daily activities. For Huster they ressambled crystal glasses; precious but fragile. Now she was mad at him, but, considering that she was safe, this didnt mattered at all. Huster learned his lesson; he would not repeat this kind of act anymore but, even despite of the harsh words, he didnt felt guilty for what he did. Another surprise came as Sura ended:
"...Well you need to speak with Alan about that. Hes trying to get some students together to help get out of here."

Huster came to that island by will; he did not knew they were trapped there. Also he was impressed with the fact that other students wanted to leave that place. That meant he was not the only one seeking a place in this world. Few minuts ago his last hope of home in this world simply puffed in front of him, but now The Crystal Giants eyes were shining again with hope and dreams, but not more than a sole second. Again he felt into the harsh reality; he was probably being fooled. Anyway, he would try. He would find this Alan and see what he had to offer. Sura seemed to be nice even despite her harsh words. "Good luck with that foot. Get better, ok?" he said while preparing to lay the stretcher and than leave, expecting no answer and no forgiveness.

"I am Alan".
Huster was impressed. First because he didnt noticed him coming, but more than that; Alan? Was this one THAT Alan? Huster was a bit bewildered. Before answering, Huster tried to put the stretcher somewhere, if Alan let him do so; otherwise he would let him carry it all.
"Listen pal, I just heard about an Alan" Huster said with an steady voice, showing no anger and no fear "That Alan was a kind of leader or...guide" Huster was not going to say all those breakout-stuff in the middle of the hospital. "If you are this Alan than you came in a fortunate time. But if you came just to taunt me into another fight you are loosing your time here.I will keep my words; I wont fight you." Huster ended staring directly in his eyes, waiting his answer

Alan sighed and shook his head "Fine I will re-word that, I am the Alan" he said. He wasn't sure if he should show emotion or not, Sura had convinced him to show emotion even without saying a word, And he would trust that. He moved his hand when it became apparent that Hustler was going to put her on a hospital bed, He looked at Hustler "Are you here to simply escape the government or to remake them so that they will accept us" He asked as if it was a question he asked daily.

"I am the Alan"
HusTER was clearly Surprised. He never expected that. He was almost certain that Alan would start that 'I shall slay you monster' speech.

Every time Huster defeated a foe a worlds incomprehensible mechanism somehow triggered another knight-errant to slay him; the endless circle of fate. This stone man held the fate of the monster; an eternal ring of darkness.
Now Alan shattered this ring by choosing not to fight him. No one could realize that, not even Huster, but now he trusted that man with his whole soul. That was stupid, but he had an inocent, childish hearth. Huster was still a puppet after all, 14 years of brainwashing in the 'army' still affected him to be so.

"Are you here to simply escape the government or to remake them so that they will accept us"
"No...no, thats not it." Huster said before looking away, in a single moment he recollected his whole life. Stamped in his face was fear. The least thing he wanted was to go back to where he came. Huster came imagining an island of monsters where he would be forgotten, but he was wrong. Abruptly he stared again inside Alans eyes; "I only want to be forgotten, to than start again a new life."

Sura turned her head at the feeling of a hand on her shoulder and smiled when she saw Alan standing there. She then listened as they talked back and forth for a moment before sighing and sliding off the stretcher, being careful to land with much weight on her sore ankle, causing her to have to hold onto Alan's shoulder while she got her balance. She then turned to Huster, "Well you came to the wrong place for that, bud. This is just a fancy prizon for people like us." SHe shook her sending her bright purple hair, that was already comming free from the rubber bands she had holding it, falling into her face. With a huff she reached up to tuck the loose strands back into their respective pony tails, it was hard to believe that they all had only gotten here earlier today. Sura felt like she had been pulled through the wringer and slapped on the ground.

Suddenly she didn't care if her ankle got looked at, she really just wanted to go to her room and lie down. It had been a busy day, she had made friends and found a person that meant something more to her, her hopes had been dashed and re-awoke. Jesus no wonder she felt tired. "Listen, this probably isn't be best place to be talking about something like this." She looked between them both. "How about we pick this conversation up somewhere alittle less likely to get us in trouble?"

(( Lol, Sorry, I have heard of people called Hustler but never Huster so I didn't think that would be the name. ))

Alan smirked slightly seeing Huster's confusion, But it dried on his lips as he started speaking. Here he was in front of a man made of blue stone who he knew practically nothing about, And yet despite this lack of knowledge Alan felt sorry for him.
Alan's gut twisted with the words as he put a hand on Huster's shoulder "Who doesn't?" he said earnestly before letting his hand to go to Sura's and nodding at her words.

His hand had no more then touched Sura's when the bell went off signaling the end of the day and that people should start heading to there dorms, Despite this Alan didn't even begin to move from Sura's side.

((Ok, np with that))

"Who doesn't?"
As Alan put a hand on his shoulder, some memories flashed in Husters head; he reminded his old fellow Ace, two years ago, just before the explosion...

"Well you came to the wrong place for that, bud. This is just a fancy prizon for people like us."
Once again Suras words awakened him. Huster should forget the past and worry with the present; he was trapped in a prison for now. Only for now; once he decided to leave that place he knew no one could stop him, but... Alan had a plan, it would be nice to listen it before trying anything.

Huster than listened the rest of Suras words and heard the bell. They should talk not only in a better place, but also in a better time. "Well, its time to go now. We can talk tomorrow." Huster said and than left the place. He still had much to do; he needed to find his bedroom and fix his cracked arms.

It is now time to a new beginning, time to shake off all dust and sorrow from the past and go on, Huster thought.

Sura smile and nodded to Huster "See ya tomarrow." She then turned to Alan and her smile grew, "Long day huh?" She was surprized to find she was alittle shy about being alone with Alan, she's never really like a guy before and now they she knew she did and knew he liked her back she didn't know how to act, scared of messing it up. "So..um..where did thst other guy go?"

Alan nodded to Huster and waved goodbye still not moving from Sura's side, He looked at her as she spoke a smile spreading over his features "I've had worse" he said lightly before sitting down next to her. He was in his own little world when she asked her next question and he nearly missed it "I'm not sure, I was pulled away from him for the finals and haven't seen him since" He muttered before laying down next to her.

Emma walked along the halls of the vast school utterly confused and lost, and with a sigh she paused to look around. "Jesus Christ where am I?" She had been at the tournament thing and after that the bell had rung signifying the end of the day, but how was she to find her way back to her room? They needed maps all over the place, the ones with the big arrow pointing YOU ARE HERE, or maybe a GPS thing. She smiled to herself, now that would be cool. Or what if instead of fire she had the power of GPS. Emma grinned as she picked a hallway and continued down it, this place was alittle creepy when it was empty and quiet, like a mansion out of a horror movie. She looked over her shoulder suddenly as that thought kind of got to her and made her paranoid. Jeeze, nice way to freak yourself out there! SHe shook her head and came to another T intersection. Eenie Meenie Miney Mo, She turned right and with another sigh continued to walk.
