Biography:
Malina grew up in a very rich, very privilege German family. Her father, Abel, comes for a long line of very wealthy Germans, and her mother, Adaline, as well. She grew up rich and knew no other way of living, when she was in elementary school.
When she entered middle school however, her life changed. On Valentines day she was a victim of a brutal random rape. She never looked at herself again, and had night terrors about that event every night for months; and still has them every now and then; which lead to her attempt at suicide. When her parents got home and saw her laying on the floor with cuts up and down her arms and thighs, they rushed her to the hospital. While she was there she had a mental examination and was diagnosed her with depression, and put her on medication.
When Malina got back to school she didn't have very many friends and was kind of a loner. But this didn't last long and Malina started hanging out with her what her parents called "The Wrong Crowd." Malina never told her parents who she was hanging out with and never did. However her new friends made her start thinking differently, and negativity. For some reason she didn't feel as pretty as the other girls in her group and decided to change that. She stopped eating, and only ate very small amounts of food, but exercised a lot. No one saw this change but her and she kept it a secret for the longest time. She also started dressing like her friends and even got a bar put through her ear. Her parents started getting worried about her, but she looked happy and content with her life so they didn't bother.
However she still felt different and like she was an outsider even to her friends. She started developing Schizophrenia, where she made a sort of imaginary friend. Except this "friend" seemed like a real person to her. This development of Schizophrenia, and the type of people she hung out with, also lead to a case of Identity Confusion. She truly thought, and still thinks that, she is a neko-vampire. Which shows when she talks about her "other me", as she calls it, whom she gave the name Nina.
Nina, although a secret whom she only talks to when she's alone, made her feel better about herself she still felt off from her friends. This is when she started going to Raves with her friends, and was introduced to two new, and very dangerous, friends, Alcohol and Ecstasy. She went to Raves every Friday with her group of friends from school, and always did drugs. Her parents didn't know what was going on with Malina tell her addiction with alcohol increased, and she came home very drunk one night.
Her parents put her in a drug rehab center, not knowing what all was wrong with her. She stuck to the program and was released early due to good behavior and a signs of being fully off of alcohol. However this didn't last long, for as soon as she got back to school she picked up her habits again, and her Schizophrenia became much more apparent. Her parents finally got fed up with having to deal with her and sent her to "go live with her aunt," but that was a lie and trick because instead of being taken to live with her aunt she was taken to Raynedale, where she was checked in, given a goodbye hugs and kisses, and left there. She doesn't she or talk to her parents in a year, and the only time she does see them is for Christmas when Raynedale lets their patients be checked out for the day to go shopping.
