She glanced at the ground where the piece of paper lay. A bug of some sort crawled out of the cobbles and she picked the paper up. It had numbers on it...
She smiled knowing what it was, and looked toward him in his direction. She placed it in her purse, and walked back into her house. She caught sight of herself in the floor length mirror, and blushed. Her hair was a mess and she was wearing slippers.
Oh how embarrassing the thought to herself.

"Maybe I could text... well... no," she felt like an idiot even thinking about it. It probably wasn't even his real number.
She had been here in Paris for almost two years and no one had ever bothered with her. Why would they start now?

Gabi was known for going after what she wanted, and it wasn't like she WANTED him per say. But she did want to find out who he was and when he moved into the neighborhood. She had never seen anyone like him before.
"Hey. Its Gabi. Girl who knocked u dwn... sup?" She hit send before she could back out.

She giggled nervously and then picked it back up.
"Not really anything important," she wrote trying to sound nonchalant.

She knew her father wouldn't approve of him. He was a skater boy, not a suit-and-tie type like her father wanted her to be with. She couldn't possibly sneak out... could she?
"i guess, whatever." She smiled as she hit send. She didn't want to sound too eager.

She didn't want to look like she knew this was a date. She wanted to look like she just threw clothes on and looked great without effort.
She looked at herself in the mirror, "Perfect" she whispered and she grabbed her bag and headed downstairs.

"What if I forget his na,... Oh wait.. I don't even know his name.." She gasped to herself in horror.
She was going on a date, and she didn't even ask him for his name. Oh my... She could feel her cheeks warming up as she opened the door, and gave a half-hearted wave. It was her signature movement...
She smiled at him, and hopped into the passenger seat.

"Sure..." She said. Looking out her window, not wanting to look at him because she knew she would blush. It had been a long time since she had been on a date, and even longer since she had butterflies in her stomach.

Collectibles
