Misha Tiyul's Story

Bridgette let out a sigh of relief as Nick called Gabriel. Now he couldn't question her about the Banshee thing. That was close, she thought, picking at her shirt. She had only been half listening to Misha and Luna's conversation. She had been thinking of an excuse to leave if Gabriel asked about her "race". Maybe it was her moms fault that she felt being a banshee was so horrible, or maybe it was because it really was. But Bridgette didn't want to tell people and find out.
Looking over, Bridgette saw Nick sitting with a guy who she had heard say about three words. His name was Ryan, if she remembered correctly. For a moment, he looked like he'd punch Nick, but that lasted for only a few seconds before he went back into his emotionless self. One word came to her as she looked at him. Loner.

Luna's heart sank when Misha got up to leave. She saw her whisper to Ryan as she walked out though, so she felt useless at themoment. She couldn't get up and run after her, and she couldn't leave to go explore and hopefully find somewhere with a piano, and she couldn't talk to anyone at the table. She put her spoon down, put her glasses back on, layed across the bench, and stared at the ceiling. 'Why do I always do this?' Luna thought to herself, 'everythings light and bright, and I have to ruin it by not thinking before I speak? What. The. Fuck.' All she saw now were teardrops and clouds. Somehow the world seemed to darken around her, and she could not move, even if she wanted to. After who knows how long, she drifted off, right there on the bench, swallowed in her newfound melancholy. She didn't particularly enjoy this state of mind, and it effected her dreams a lot. She would pprobably have a nightmare during her 'nap'

Ryan looked at the girl laying in the grass. He had no idea what she expected him to do or say, so he just sat down near her and picked at the grass. This was the first time he'd been grateful toward someone besides for them leaving him alone. Sighing he looked at her. "You kept looking at me strangely, why?"


Bridgette jumped slightly at the sound of Gabriel's voice. She had been thinking about her brothers and if they were going through her stuff. She looked at the snow haired boy beside her but couldn't seem to focus. Sighing, she simply looked down instead. "Um, no. I think We're going to be told at some bonfire thing," She said with a small smile, deciding to keep the fact she hoped he was in her cabin to herself.
Bridgette got up, now standing on the table, and looked around. "Speaking of which, when is the so called "bonfire"? Does anyone know?"

Ryan gave a small nod. That was normal, since she wouldn't be able to read his thoughts even if she tried. Though, if he were to fall asleep... He sighed, pulling his legs to his chest and resting his chin on his knees. His hair fell over his eyes and he let him self zone out. Why did his family have to send him here? It wasn't for his own good, they were just sick of him. He was sure of it.

The girl beside him seemed to be nice enough. She was quiet. He liked quiet, so as long as she didn't get loud he'd be happy to stay out here for awhile. Better than being introduced to people through Nick. He didn't want help making friends.

Ryan looked over to where the girl was pointing and then went back to looking at the sky. He sighed, having an odd feeling. People were arriving probably. He usually felt uneasy when he was surrounded, which this camp would not help with probably.

"I don't know much about most things magickal or mythical. I know that they look like a horse, and I know that it would be stupid to piss one off," he said, glancing back at the horse like creature. "That horn looks scarily sharp."

Ryan blinked. He kept talking, and so far he talked more to her and Nick than he has his mother in the past four years.Yet another reason he blames his family for him being anti-social. Nick he just wanted to leave him alone, and he probably just didn't mind this girl because she wasn't begging him to tell her why he's.. him. He was a little curious what she was afraid of, but that would require him to either be asleep or force his mental block to go away, which he couldn't seem to do. So instead, he asked.

"What do you fear?" Ryan asked slowly, turning his eyes to her. Subconsciously he knew he shouldn't ask, he was encouraging himself, but he couldn't help it.

Aurae Draco

they had been flying for a day now looking at the sun Aurae guessed she was probably late for the camp opening "dammit Mum were going to be late" she roared at a 50 foot red dragon with a sleek yet powerful body. then looking to the largest dragon; her father who was covered in beautiful black scales that caught the light from the setting sun. making his obsidian scales look like they contained fire. "so beautiful" shaking her head she remembered her father for what he really was a 0 foot black dragon capable of killing an elephant with one swipe of his sharp claws. "well its not my fault that that bear decided to steal from my game now is it" spoke the red dragon.

Aurae knew how possessive her mother was with her food, she didn't even let her own mate take anything from her kill.Hell her mother was the sign of beauty and ladylikeness but get on her bad side, well just don't get on her bad side, even her father fears his mate when she is angry.

she did quite like the fact that she was going to this Camp Keystone "I still don't understand why I have to go " she mutered under her breath. Aurae realized she had spoken out loud and hoped her father didn't hear her or she was in for another hour of "its good to mingle with other kinds dear" lecture. but of course things weren't in her favor to day was it for her father heard what she said and started up his lecture again. "damn his acute sense of hearing.

after an hour of his lecturing they swooped in low and stayed level with the treetops. Aurae brought her arm a bit and let her claws graze the top most branches of the trees; slicing them as her claws passed over them. smiling wide, Aurae brought her wings up and she shot up, flying as fast as she could. as she reached a good height Aurae dived back down towards the awaiting earth. "this is what flying really means; being free". the distance between her and a very painful crash was drawing to a close and at the last moment spread her wings wide open catching the wind and her entire 30 foot body jerked to a stop.

"are you done dear we should be there in a couple of minutes" her father stated. "hmmp fine then I'll stop for now" she said with a hint of rebellion in her voice. she started to glide and soon the treetops opened up into a large campus with a bunch of building sprinkled in just the right way. her father led them to a large building which she guessed was where they would drop her off. they circled for a moment in the parking lot then descended. her wings beat up a dust cloud that was enlarged even more by her parents wings.

settling onto the hard ground lightly and looked around. there seemed to already be people here and she watched as a car sped off into the distance. her father sat down on his haunches as did her mother and her father looked about with a slight smirk on his face when the little people scurried about, proabaly at the sight of 3 intimidating dragons landing in their parking lot. Aurae spotted a unicorn and saw it with great clarity as well as two small people sitting in the grass thanks to her dragon sight. her father then spoke in a rather loud booming voice "who is the camp director, are you not going to greet your guests?" he said with a hint of disapproval. 'show off' she heard her mother whisper to her. but Aurae didn't think so it was dragon etiquette to greet guests I one didn't it was considered rude. and even ruder to transform into their humanoid forms without being greeted.

Bridgette watched Gabriel amused. She hadn't actually thought he'd stop picking at the grass. Studying his expression, she noticed something. So, he realized they were lost. Bridgette giggled and nudged him with her elbow.
"You look a wee bit lost," she said with a smile. She herself had no idea where they were, but she wasn't that concerned. She usually just walked without thinking and would end up where she needed to be. "Sorry, I'm kind of an eejit... I shouldn't have let myself get lost." She shrugged and gave a small apologetic smile. Looking up at the sky, she wondered what it would be like being here all summer. She just hoped she'd get her cabin soon, and that she'd like the people in it.

Ryan nodded at her response, little did she know he was probably going to end up using that against her whether he wanted to or not. Standing up, Ryan took a look around. The unicorn looked like it was talking to someone... but that was really weird. Ryan stuck his hands in his pockets and looked down at Misha. "I'm sure you have nothing to worry about, you'll gain control over your powers, it's why were here after all," he muttered the last part, and shrugged. After offering a weak attempt at a smile, he turned to walk away.

Bridgette looked at the person who spoke. Aurae huh? She smiled and offered her hand. "Bridgette O'Connor, nice to meet you!" she half yelled, smile not faltering. She, for whatever reason, was in a good mood. Her face turned red when she realized how loud she had been. Whispering, she said,"sorry, names Bridgette."

Aurae Draco

after the three introduced them selves a man went up on sttage and introduced himself as Nick the camp coach.'oh fun'then Leena Mei introduced herself and Aurae smiled when Jaqueline frost mentikned somwthing about being on fire. when Athest mentioned smores her stomach growled loudly and Aurae selfconcisouly placed her hand over it 'ah damn im humgry i havmt eaten since this morning'and sacowled further when she realized there going to be amorea but no meat. "what no meat seriously" 'i'll have to ask Athest if i can go hunting i wonder if he will' looking back at Bridgette she asked her question"do you think Athest will let me hunt i dont really do smores".

Gabriel sat by himself for the most part around the bonfire. His mind continuing to trail back to a simple friendly hug that Bridgette gave him. He but his tongue in annoyance. He wasn't supposed to think about that now. He was supposed to see who he'd be rooming with for the next summer. Bridgette had went to sit with Luna and Misha and he could tell she didn't want him to come. He probably did something... Gabriel sat and continued to listen to the introduction. Silently digging his nails into the wood.
