The story of a certain eight people who saw the world through different eyes.
The rain got heavier and heavier as human life proceeded into the center of winter. Now there were more complaints, and strange mis-happenings had been going on went from people feeling as if they were being watched to things in the house suddenly being tipped over. But it was hardly anything more than that. Most of this was just small pranks that were practically harmless and only done for a single lone laugh.
Oddly though, the rain began to lessen again, although it still rained, and the children and teens began to calm down. They didn't see whatever they saw anymore, or, at least, not as often as they did when the rain was heavy and pouring. When they went to school again, all the children began to talk about it, but not very many actually spoke about it. Maybe not all the children had see what they saw? Or experienced what they experienced? Who knows, and who would know.
That would be answered on the next rainy day.
Its only us who can see them. They live everywhere and are more active when it rains more. They're underneath tables, in the fridge, hiding in the shelves, running in the backyard, and cause a lot of mischief if they want to have fun. We call them Yurei.
Most of them are very small, usually being the size of your palm and being shorter than your knees. They do not speak any language, as their words seem to be just mutters and tiny squeaks, like animals. They usually tend to have human qualities, but do not have enough to be considered a human. They are dead, and now, because they are unable to more on, stray in the human world, haunting younger humans with Sight who are able to see these creatures.
The stronger the Yurei's tie to the physical world is, the larger they will be, and the more human they will be, but that also means the more dangerous they can be too. It's often rare, but some Yurei can take the form of humans because of their strong attachment to the physical world, and sometimes will go insane with jealousy that humans can live and die while they can't. This can leads to killings and accidents like fires or car crashes. Luckily though, this is a very rare occurrence and should not happen very often.
However, most are harmless. Most don't bother to create mischief and just wander around in the physical world endlessly, encountering humans along their endless journey. They can never be free from their chained fate to never return to their world, and not even a second death with save them as there is no such thing. But there are a certain people who have to ability to release them; the Abnormals.
'We are call abnormals. We're people who can see the Yurei clearly and easily, and have the ability to release their attachments, bonds, and any remaining ties to the physical world so they can remain in peace. But with this, we can never truly live as real people.'
Abnormals, also known as young people from the age of birth to 16 who have Sight, the ability to see Yurei, and have the ability to cut their bonds that link them to the physical world. Some young people have Sight, but aren't always Abnormals. The difference between Abnormals and regular people with Sight is that Abnormals have a large kanji character written somewhere on their body with significance to that person. This is basically their life force. Abnormals can withstand any amount of pain, thus never dying, unless their seal is somehow destroyed (burnt, separated, removed, damaged, etc) or unless they die by other situations like cancer. However, the seal will start withering away and fading at 16 years, and by 17, maybe even before, the seal would have disappeared, and the Abnormal becomes a normal human, but forgets every single memory within those years. That means every single memory.
All Abnormals have a special weapon that they, themselves pick. Once finding a weapon they think is right to use for the rest of their life as an Abnormal, they then claim the weapon by marking their seal on it. With this weapon, they are able to cut bonds belonging to Yurei, but if the seal is in anyway disturbed, then the weapon loses its quality to cut bonds and becomes a normal weapon. This can be a big problem since an Abnormal may only claim up to three weapons in their lifetime. Sometimes its better to take the pain than have their weapon taken from them.
Abnormals are also granted a power to weaken any stronger chains or bonds. This power usually ties into the Abnormal's personality, such as a hot-headed person using fire, or a mellow person having water. However, their power is not only an element. It can range to even transformation into a weapon, or something as amazing as the creation of illusions. But there's backfire to this unique idea. If an Abnormal dares to use their ability for any wrong reason, such as harming a person, then they become scourged. Scourge is a very slow and painful way for an Abnormal to slowly lose their seal and their life, basically being a black scar that spreads throughout that person's body until eventually it covers their seal, causing a disturbance, which leads the Abnormal to die. Because of this, Abnormals have to keep careful for every move they make, or it could be their last.
While there is just about only younger Abnormals, there has been rumors spreading around about two older ones that haven't fainted away to being a normal human....

No matter what happens to us, lets all reunite again in another life.
Long ago, there were five teenagers, all who were about to graduate their final senior year in high school and move on into different colleges. They were all childhood friends since they were little, the five of them, and were very close. But on graduation day, there was a shooting, and all five of them were killed in the process... Strangely though, just a week before that happened, they made a promise, together, on the roof of the school, that no matter what happened to them, even if they died or forgot each other, they'd promise to meet in another life, whether it was the next one, or the one after that, or one thousand years from that day. That was their promise, but they died, and at that young age.
From there, because they lived innocent lives, they went to a place some would call Heaven; a vast ocean that was as still as stone which expanded past the horizon and to infinite. There was nothing in sight, and no one in sight. Maybe its Heaven, maybe its not, but that is what it has been named, but, in all honesty, it is simply the area of the mind after death, yet all who have gone there believe it to be Heaven. Yet it's empty. There is no one else there, even if that person creates a Ferris wheel, or a park, or people to accompany you. None of it is real though. Just a fragment of the imagination that can never be fulfilled, only to entertain the dead who cannot go to the true Heaven.

At that moment, all five of them thought, 'Ah, right. I'm dead.' But a voice spoke to them, one that was grand and beautiful and asked, 'Do you want to see them again?' Of course, all of them said yes. The five of them were closer than family. The voice spoke again, 'Even if it means not remembering who they are? Not recalling their faces? Not truly hearing their voice?' The painful thought ached in the hearts of those five, but they made that deal with God, and were sent back to Earth in new bodies, but with no memories of what had ever happened, who they were, or who their friends were. It is what one may call rebirth. But was this really what the five wanted? To be so close to each other, not even realizing who each of them were, but so far away form reaching that truth.
While you stand right beside me, you're not really there.

Except for one student, a junior who was kind to everyone, approached her and tried to cheer her up, but he meant nothing by it, nothing romantically, or friendly. Mirai took it the wrong way and began to stalk him every day, all day, until eventually, he too, grew tired of acting friendly with her, and did everything in his power to avoid her as well without looking too suspicious. However, one day, Mirai stalked him after class ended, and found him talking to his friends in the classroom. Her name was mentioned, and she leaned in closer to hear better and get a look at them all, only to realize that they weren't just talking about her. They were saying things about her behind her back, and murmuring how creepy she was, the way she acted, how she smelled and looked. Even her dear junior was joining in with them, since he felt the same too.
The next class morning, Mirai came in early, and found the same situation happening; people talking about her in a bad way. It was said that just as the teacher walked into the take role, Mirai had brought a knife with her to school, and took it out. Somehow, she managed to lock the doors shut, and the windows, and all those classmates were shut inside the classroom with their teacher and Mirai, who began to use that knife in her hand now on other students. By the end of the hour, only one person remained alive in the room, her one and only love. Mirai asked the junior if he loved her, but he couldn't say anything, for the whole classroom was covered in blood, himself included. He couldn't make up the words, and that's what brought his death. In the end though, Mirai was still alone, and this loneliness is what also killed herself in the end. From that moment on, the building was sealed off and never used again- is how the rumor goes.
Or, was it really just a rumor?
The building that Mirai supposedly used to take classes at is now a shut down club building because it is far too unstable and dangerous. That's why the school is removing it in 2017. But in the mean time, while it still stands on school grounds and still exists with nothing inside moved or changed in anyway, students have made up the Bravery Test. The Bravery Test took place ever August 15th where they would grab a few friends, even other random students that add to an equal number, and then head towards the haunted building where Mirai's legend took place. They'd all split into groups of two, each group having one flashlight with one set of batteries, and then a different colored flare. From that point, all groups would spread out and start searching the building- for what? The 'secret item.'
The secret item is the knife that Mirai used to murder all her classmates and teacher, and its said that its still in the building somewhere. Which ever duo finds the knife first and brings it back successfully wins, signaling the end of the game with their flare (although it is also a distress signal to pause the game along with a surrender). In the end, the duo gets the reward of kissing anyone who participated, regardless if it is against their will, or its their actual partner who found the knife with them. Nevertheless, this is how the game works and how its played. The only worry is if Mirai's ghost still haunts the hallways.

This group is made from the innocent and lovey-dovey couple, the shy girl and the kind boy. This shy girl used to have no friends, and hardly even spoke to anyone until the kind boy approached her one day, way back in their middle school days, and became friends. From there, they became a couple. Most people expect the two to be afraid, as they seem like the couple to be one, but in reality, both have been looking forward to the day they'd be able to venture into their own horror set for real.

Unlike the others, these two actually haven't quite met, or, at least, haven't been exactly called 'friends' just yet. The two are somewhat like a comical duo, always having fun and laughing here and there, yet, they're not friends. Its only and always at festivals, during class hours, or during study hall. Alright, well, of much for doing the FF series rp. Decided on something else- Hey, future me, remember when you watched that video on tumblr about the NND peeps playing their little horror games and acting all adorable? Well, you're going to make an rp from that too. Yeah, yeah, you already made a ghost rp, but this one's not quite the same thing, you know? Anyways, here's a basic layout, future me.
~There is a so called "haunted house" on the school campus, while its just really an old club building that was there since the beginning of the year, but never got used because of how unsafe the stairs, ceiling, and etc were.
~Students go there every August 15th for the Ghost Festival as a sort of challenge, being named the Bravery Test.
~During the Bravery Test, students grab their friends, and even other random students, and then head into the haunted house with nothing but a flashlight and a flare.
~ The flashlight only has one pair of batteries, so once running out, its off. The flare is used for three situations; when they have found the 'secret item,' if they're in an emergency, or if they give up. Each different group has different colored flares.
~They, from there, split into groups of two, mostly couples or best friends, and begin to explore. Whoever manages to find the 'secret item' wins the game and gets a kiss from whoever participates.
~The 'Secret item' was something left by a 'girl who died there when it was first built. The rumor goes that ever since then, the building was never used for clubs again. The secret item is said to be a brush laying somewhere in the building that she used to brush her hair every day.'
~Once finding the secret item, the pair sets off the flare, being able to be seen and hear by most people, and that should signal their 'test' to stop.
