Len Takahashi's Story

"Lost again?" He said with a hint of a smirk on his face.

Rin whipped around to see The Vampire right behind her. She quickly scowled and looked away from him.
"Like hell I would. I was just.... Searching for Rina... Whatever. I'm going back now." She said as she walked past Len and bumped shoulders with him. She knew it was a jerkish thing to do but she couldn't help it. She hated it when she got lost and just wanted to stop having certain weaknesses. She also hated vampires in general so that didn't help at all.

"I hope you know that you are going the wrong way, jerkface" Len said in his normal monotone voice as he started walking away in the correct direction. He found it funny that she was trying hard to act cool but was failing at it by going the completely wrong way.
" the only place you are going to get to by walking that way is the training room. If you dont want to end up lost again i suggest you just follow me instead of wandering around aimlessly like a rat trapped in a maze." He said not even glancing back at her.

Ren clenched her fists. She didn't care where she was going anymore. As long as it was away from him. She gave a slight chuckle and looked at him through the corner of her eye.
"Jerk face? That's all you thought of?.... You seem really immature to be the God's hand of The Chikyuu no Mirai...." She said angrily and then began walking. Well, it was walking at first, but as soon as he was far away, she turned it into running. She just wanted to be away from this place. She was always embarrassed of her poor sense of direction and he just put it way out in the open. She bit her lip as she continued running. She was happy she was in good shape otherwise she wouldn't have been able to keep winding up flights of stairs until she burst through a door and into the sunlight. She was on the roof. For safety matters (Of not being locked out) She propped open the door and sat to the right of the door so people would actually have to come out and look behind the door to find her. She didn't want to be bothered anymore. She completely ignored her stomachs complaints for food and closed her eyes. She wanted out of here more then anything. She knew it was safe here, but she just couldn't seem to warm up to anyone. They just kept on reminding her of past horrors. She rested her head on her knees as the pain of her sisters death started coming back in full blasts. She could never look at Len without remembering her sisters killer. She clenched her fists tighter as she felt her nails scratching at her palms. She wouldn't let herself show and weakness of being sad. Only anger. She wouldn't dare show that weakness to a vampire again... or even anyone in this base. She just didn't know anyone truthfully. Sure, they met her, what? a day ago? That wasn't nearly enough time for her to warm up to them. It took Dimitri about a year to gain her trust and that was before her sister's death. She just gave another sigh as she tried to calm herself down again. She had to at least listen to Setsugie's orders of keeping her emotions under control. She gave a light laugh as she noticed she just did a poor job of that back there.

Len sighed " And thats why i dont talk to girls....waaaaay to emotional" Len said to himself. He didnt want Rin getting lost again, so he went up to the roof, picked Rin up and threw her over his shoulder then literally ran to the kitchen. Being a vampire means he could run faster than normal people, so it only took a few minutes to get there. When he got there he pulled out a chair and set her on it then retreated back to his chair in the corner.
"Please dont try to kill me for picking you up. But you were being stubborn so i did have a reason" He said calmly

As he sat her down, she quickly delivered a kick to his..... weak spot without noticing.
"Why the hell did you pick me up!? I was doing fine there!" She yelled. The whole reason for running off was to calm down before coming back. Life was too stressful for her right now to add in people to the equation. She'd just have to sit through it now, hoping for it to end quick. She hated when this happened. It would probably just add more stress to her.
"Sorry for the outburst...." She muttered to Setsugie and then stared at the table.

"Hmm... no apology for me? I was trying to eat..."

Raze was in fact, eating his serving of food rather viciously. Of course, nothing felt like it filled him up. There was only one thing that'd accomplish that, and he couldn't really just find some popping out of nowhere. The smell of Rin's tasty, delectible blood permiated the air and sent his nose on a trip. However, he showed this, only his way of doing so was sniffling every couple of seconds.

Setsugie looked and laughed when Len came in and placed Rin on a chair, "Got lost again eh?" he said, as he stood up and scraped his plate on the trash can and placed it on the sink oddly enough he was already full. "I see everyone like the meal you prepared Rin." Setsugie said with a smile as he leaned on a wall taking out a pocky and place it on his mouth. Belldandy only kept kept eating as the other ate and Setsugie talked.


Zero stood up thinking it was time to go back to the base before the others find out hes lazying around as he hates the others bitching. He started walking back reaching the edge of forest he stopped looking to the side seeing 3 figure close by a man a woman and a giant reptile like beast, "Interesting." Zero said as he looked at them. Deciding to stay and see how thing turn out Zero silently approached them a bit more until he could hear what they said, and leaned on a tree and grinned.

Once the pain from Rins kick set in len found himself on the ground in a fetal position, and in a gret deal of pain. She kicked him hard, really hard.
" what the fuck Rin!? What the hell! Why did you do that!?" He said tying to hide the tremendous pain he was in. He was obviously failing though.
" I hate you so fricking much right now...." He said when he could finally sit up without being in pain.
" you dont just kick a guy there, you have no fricking clue how much that hurts." He said with a sigh

"That was moderately funny." Raze commented. He did so love to see Len lose his composure like that. However, he did feel the pain of the bro-code being broken. Hitting a man there was.... horrible. She could never understand how much it hurt. But, he did deserve it, or at least in Raze's opinion. He did yell at Rika, who was missing at the current moment. He'd look for her later, but now would just stir up his wounds and open them.

Rin ignored him. She was meaning to go for a kick in the diaphragm so he would've just lost his breath for awhile but apparently, she missed. She quickly spooned some rice into her mouth. Her stomach wouldn't ever forgive her if she had to storm off without eating a tiny bit. As soon as she finished, she got another spoonful ready.
"That's why you don't pick a lady up without her permission. I didn't want to be picked up. I don't like you either and I sure as hell don't trust you." She said without looking at him and setting her spoon down, she turned away and started to walk in the general direction of her room. She was, surprisingly, not very hungry any more.

" next time we find someone like her, leave me out of it." Len said as he got up.
" If she wasnt so stubborn i wouldnt have picked her up. If i hadnt she would have sat there all night. Im going to bed before i lose all my patience with you people" He said as he left the area and went to his room, unfortunately passing rin on the way there, he gave her a glare. Which she deserved for kicking him there of all places. He got to his room and slammed the door shut. After locking all of the 7 basic locks on his door (which he had put there himself) he felt it was safe enough to relax. He plopped down on his bed, hoping to be able to sleep, and closed his eyes.

((( ooc: Len has issues with people being able to get in his room so he put the locks there to keep people out.)))

Rin passed Len again and gave him a horrible glare again. She didn't like him. Not one bit. She quickly walked past him and then found her way back to her room. For once, she found a place in an area she didn't know. She was proud that she didn't get lost but that was just replaced with anger and frustration. She walked to her bed and laid down. Truthfully, she wasn't tired at all but was too embarrassed to walk back to dinner after that. She just looked up at the ceiling as she thought of who's fault it really was. In the end, she just closed her eyes because her views were way too one sided. She soon got back up and paced her room. She just couldn't sleep tonight. She gave a slight peak by opening her door slightly and after figuring the coast was clear, she walked out of the room.

Rin gave a smile to Raze. Thankful that he thought about her.
"Thank you.... Sorry about that earlier.... Len can just be aggravating some times...." She said, already getting angry at the thought of him but then quickly cooled down. She took the plate and then saw his limp.
"....Can I at least try to heal it? It'd be easier than limping around." She said as she looked at his wound. He helped her so she wanted to help him back. It was only fair. She also didn't really wanna be in debt to him... Although, right now, he and Setsugie were the closest people to her. Setsugie because it was him who sent them to protect her and he's also been watching out for me. Raze because.... Well, he's been a good friend.... Well, minus the time he attacked Dimitri which reminded her she still had to get back at him. She would just do that later though.

When everyone left Setsugie began cleaning the dishes, Belldandy only slightly bowed and went back into the blade to rest. "Today was a fine day, though Dahlia hasn't returned, something must've happened." Setsugie mumbled finishing the dishes and placing the apron down and walking through the hallways, seeing Rin and Raze, "Raze, Rin I'll be heading out I fear something has happened to Dahlia, could you be as so kind as to tell Len not to go to bed yet, something doesn't feel right. I'll be going to the forest to look for Dahlia." Setsugie said ignoring the fact that raze had no shirt and continued walking heading outside the base. 'Please be alright.' Setsugie thought.


Zero saw Lance appear 'Great this is going to turn out as a family feud.' he thought as he sighed.The Azure Grimoire lit with anger upon hearing that the panther was part of the Guardians of Light, though Zero calmed him down. Though Zero got some great info that panther was part of the Guardians of Light and that panther is the Head Commander. That means the panther could be a worthy opponent, so he moved making his presence also known but kept leaning on the tree, "Let's see how this will turn out." Zero whispered.

"Yeah, I should be..."

While the wound did in fact disappear, the pain didn't follow in its footsteps, regretabally. However, it did feel a lot better, now that it wasn't touching his shirt or the cold air of the outside world. He'd be much better off now, and with a thankful grin, he showed it to her.

"Thank you for helping... but I cannot be careful, I'm afraid. If I can save somebody else at the cost of an injury, I'll do it." he spoke. "...But I do appreciate your concern." he then remembered something. "And eat up....Also... I doubt Len is even asleep, seeing as he has insomnia, from what I remember."

Rin tried to ignore his comment about Len and started eating her food.
"How super...." She mumbled before eating some food.
"I see...." She mumbled again before taking another bite. It was nice that he would save people but she still didn't want him hurt.

Rin flinched. She never sensed this type of power before. She was drawn to it... but at the same time, was extremely afraid of it. It was like there were two people inside of her, fighting. She quickly set her food down as she knew what she would do. She couldn't just stand by while someone was getting attacked.
"Stay here. I gotta go get Len." She said as she walked to the place where they passed each other. She then headed in the direction she saw him going and found a locked door in front of her.
"Len, you have 10 seconds to open the door before I blow it off.... I sense someone might need our help..." She said as she started counting down from 10.

By th time Rin reaced his room Len had already managed to fall asleep. Waking him up wouldnt be easy, he was a very heavy sleeper. A bomb could go off and he wouldnt even move a muscle. He was only like this when he hadnt slept for a few days. and he definately didnt get any sleep since he found Rin. The added stress of dealing with her stubborness kept him awake.

Rin gave a sigh as she counted down to zero. Deciding to have a tiny bit of mercy, she decided she'd just use her energy to try and pick the locks. She put her hand on the door and it immediately exploded, making her jump and run her hands through her hair.
"Ah shit!" She said before quickly covering her mouth, covering her nervous and surprised laughs. She quickly let herself have some time to calm down and then walked in. She didn't like being in his room AT ALL. She moved over to Len and lightly shook his shoulder.
"Hey, Len, wake up..... Sorry about your door by the way...." She said, quietly adding in the last part. She didn't mean to really destroy it. She said she would, but she didn't mean it.
"Please don't be mad..." She thought to herself as she waited to see if he'd respond.

Not even the explosion was enough to wake him up. Rins shoulder shake didnt do a thing either. He wasnt gonna wake up unless she did something drastic or figured out that she could wake him up by tickling him. Len was very, very ticklish. Tickling him would only wake him up halfway though, but waking him the rest of the way up wouldnt be hard at all.
