Way too dramatic intro:
Urbem Caelo, the city where land meets the sky. The city always had its fair share of problems, but it thrived nonetheless. Always in the city was Angelus, a massive skyscraper in the center of the city. No one went in, no one came out. It was always there, its constant shadow becoming daily for the people who lived there.

You wanted something greater. You wanted to change something that made you feel powerless. you wanted to rid fear from your mind. It's what you wanted, now you have it. The power to make the things you don't like go away. Or, maybe you just wanted to be somebody. To live a life outside of mundanity and the complacency with everyday life. Whatever it may be, it does not matter anymore. You were given the gift to change your life as you see fit, whether or not you question why this has suddenly been given to you is up to you. From here on the rules no longer apply. You can do anything you want. Unless, someone bets you to it of course. You weren't the only one who received this gift. Others have their own as well. does that make you angry? Does the specialness you felt only a few seconds ago feel absolutely hollow now? Then take that specialness back.

Three Hundred people heard this message in complete darkness. It has been five years, and fewer than a hundred of those people remain. Many of them go about their daily lives, ignoring the power save for when inconvenienced. Others hunt and kill to increase their power. As their power grows, so does the hunger, the desire for more. While a few seek the truth, the reason behind why they are the way they are. No matter what your cause or creed, there is only one question; Can you survive the Children of Angelus.


Terminology:

Children of Angelus: Unofficial name for those with abilities. They can literally be anyone. Someone who felt powerless and wants revenge, or someone wanting something more than a cubicle out of life. Powers range from large to small, from spatial manipulation to enhanced vision to inhuman intelligence. The most abilities you can have at the beginning of the roleplay is 3, meaning you have killed two other Children of Angelus (FYI, your not an actual child in this roleplay). You can kill npc's and take their abilities. Though the abilities can't be incredible since you really didn't work for them.

Urbem Caelo: The planet and any other geographical location will not be included in the rp. The closer you are to the center. the more money you have. As you get further away, the poorer you will likely be. At the edge there is only shacks with the highway exit looming above.

Angelus: Largest skyscraper in the city. No one goes in, no one comes out.
