Oden looked around the table at his friends and smiled. Though they didn't know what he was truly thinking, didn't know the real him, he was sure they would stick by him when he told them of his agenda. They had been friends as long as he could remember, ever since they started school. Oden was the oldest, at 21, but that didn't stop them being friends. In some cases, he was even hoping for more. He had always had a bit of a thing for Minji, one of his female friends. She seemed the most like him, and he thought she was pretty.

"So guys... what are we going to do?" He asked the others. There were four of them all together.

Lotus wasn't listening as Oden spoke. Her mind was elsewhere at the moment, as it often was these days. After a moment of silence it finally registered what Oden has asked. "Hmm? Well i guess we all have to find work or something." She shrugged. "I wouldn't mind being an Auror." She turned her warm green eyes on the others, mainly Alex. "What about you? What do you want to do? We've been out of school for 2 years, some of us longer." She shot a look at Oden who shrugged.

Lotus's eyes went back to Alex and she smiled slightly. She had been pining after him since they were 15,but she was certain he didn't notice her, at least not that way. She let out a small sigh before looking at the other two. "You guys? Know what you want to do?" She asked.

Minji tucked her long hair behind her ear to reveal her spike earrings. " Well, I'd like to do something dangerous...and I hate children...so I won't be a teacher or anything like that " She gave a sly smile then looked to Lotus, her best friend whom happened to have a crush on Alex. It was rather obvious.

She glanced down at the floor and sighed. If only Oden would pay attention to her like Lotus did to Alex. Then again Alex did notice a damned thing. He was rather oblivious. She bit her bottom lip and thought for a moment. She was really the only one who had literally no clue what so ever what she was going to do with her life. She had gotten rather good grades throughout school but, she never did anything that spiked her interest. Of course the dark arts were her favorite. But, after the hole Voldemort fiasco any one who studied them would be pinned as evil.

" What about you Oden..."

Alec smiled and rubbed the back of his head poofing up his curly fro. He looked to Lotus and gave her a sincere smile " I think you'd be a great Auror..." He nervously looked down. Something about her that made him so crazy. She was an amazing person. He looked to Oden. He wasn't Oden's biggest fan but, Lotus and Minji liked him so he dealt with him.

" I was thinking maybe becoming a professor...I don't know if I want to be a Herbology one or Potions..." He looked up his light eyes shimmering in the dim light where they were sitting.

Oden smiled as he leaned back in his chair and thought about it for a moment, his hands now resting behind his head. "Me? Well...maybe i'll be one of those guys who goes out and studies things like dragons and spells." He shrugged. "I've always been a more hand on kind of guy." He smirked at that. Of course, he knew what he really wanted to do, but he couldn't say it. Not yet. "I don't really know though." He shrugged once more. "I guess an Auror could be good too, or hell. maybe even get a ministry job." He paused at that. "Yeah... i want to be minister of Magic." He said.

Lotus felt her cheeks burn slightly. She smiled at Alex though. "Thank you." She said softly. She listened to him speak and couldn't help but smile even more. "I think you would be a great professor. In both Herbology and Potions." She said softly. "You always were really good in those classes." She couldn't help but watch his eyes as she talked. She had always thought that Alex had amazing eyes. She realized she was staring and looked away quickly, mentally cursing herself for being so obvious.

Minji shook her head at Lotus then stood up " Well, I think I am going on a walk " She looked to Oden smiled " Care to come with me? " without waiting for a reply she got up and walked out of the cafe. She walked through the cold streets and stared at the sky.

Lotus and Alex needed to inform each other how they felt. How they hadn't figured it out yet was far beyond her but, she supposed it didn't matter. She looked down to her heels which were at the time 8 inches. She was sure that by the time that she exited the building they knew she was making an excuse to get them alone.

In 6th year she had easily guessed that they felt things toward each other but, could never get either one of them to admit it to the other. Two years was a long enough wait they were going to admit it whether they like it or not.

Alex smiled at the red turning on Lotus's cheeks. His smiled faded however when they were left alone. Not only did Minji leave but, Oden followed her. They were trying to get him to tell Lotus how he felt. He bit his bottom lip ans looked away from Lotus. " I guess it's just us for a it huh"

He gently rubbed the back of his head nervously wondering what to do.

Oden guessed what Minji was doing. He nodded and stood, leaving with her. He walked along side her and smirked. "Decided it was time to give the love birds a chance to admit their love?" He asked. He chuckled at that. He doubted either had the guts to admit their feelings, which was a shame, since they both felt the same way. of course, he found it somewhat amusing that they were so in love with each other and had been for so long with out realizing it.

Lotus nodded. She was sure Minji just wanted her to open to Alex and tell him. She didn't know if she could though. if she said how she felt, and Alex didn't feel the same, it could ruin their friendship, and Lotus didn't want that. She chewed her lip and glanced at Alex, feeling the burn return to her cheeks. "So... how have you been Alex?" She asked softly. "Anything interesting going on? Girls catch your eye?" She asked.
