Reyna hadn't been dressed when the attacks began, she was in the middle of undressing for the evening during the ball celebrating her sixteenth birthday. When the building began to shake and the screaming grew so loud that her entire room shook, she flung open the doors to her bedroom, running around the corner in time to see her guards be beheaded. A scream rang through the air, something punched her in the stomach and despite the pain, Reyna fought back with every ounce of her being. She flung herself at the thing that attacked her, clawing and kicking until it disappeared into vapor. Now free, Reyna ran down the halls and stairs until she reached the ballroom, the smell of death strong.

She gagged as she opened the door, entering just in time to see her Mother and Father standing there, wide eyed, holding hands. "Mama! Papa!" Reyna screamed, running towards them. They smiled, her mother mouthing something Reyna couldn't quite catch. They were slaughtered before her, their blood splattering against Reyna's naked body. "Noooo!" It was a howl full of pain and tears and the threads of her very existence. The death of her parents shook Reyna to her very core. She sunk to the ground, feeling as though she couldn't breathe. They were gone, dead, and Reyna was wearing their blood. Something grabbed her from behind. Reyna fought tooth and nail, scratching, kicking, screaming, but it was useless. Her head slammed against the ground, her breathe knocked right out of her chest. The girl curled up in a ball as someone kicked her in the ribs, causing a few to snap.

The world grew fuzzy, her body went numb, she succumbed to the darkness. When Reyna awoke she was bound, her wrists tied uncomfortably behind her, her ankles and knees tied so that she couldn't attempt to stand. There was something in her mouth, something soft but restricting that had been originally white but now was stained red in blood. She kicked and screamed, attempting to gain some sort of attention. As her senses awoke, Reyna realized where she actually was; in some sort of underground dungeon. She was laying on the cold floor, metal bars like a cage keeping her inside. Well, the bars, and the ties really. "Mmph!" Reyna screamed through the gag, her lungs tired and her mind spinning. There was a crackle with each breathe, she was bruised and bloodied, clearly a few bones had been broken.

It was the memory of her parents that had silenced her. Their final moments, the words Reyna had seen mouthed form her mother's lips but hadn't heard ringing in her mind like a warning. They were gone, dead, and it was Reyna's fault. It was all her fault. Tears ran down her face, leaving streaks through the dirt and leftover makeup, the only memory that the night before had been a ball at all and not a blood-letting massacre.

The Queen of Hell didn't associate much with her demon brother and for that, Chris was glad. The boy had gone out, mumbling something about power, no doubt trying to overthrow his sister. If he tried to, Chris would be all too happy to off him. It was his job to protect his Queen after all. Chris had met Jennora quite a few years ago, when he was on the verge of death Jennora made him her servant and so he had been serving her ever since. To be honest, Chris couldn't exactly recall the circumstances, but he could remember waking up in a bedroom, his chest wrapped in bandages, a brand right above his heart that marked him as property of the Queen of Hell. His home, his family, Chris had no idea who they were; not like it mattered much. He had comes to terms a long time ago that they most probably were dead.

Chris sighed as he stood at his post. Some days went by at a crawls pace, tip toeing slowly forward until they ended and the next day came. They were awake mostly during the night seeing as how most of the demonic beings were sensitive to the sun. Chris was a day walker, he could go out during either time since his body was that of a human. As Chris yawned once more, a guard came to rotate shifts. He was glad for the break, heading to the throne room to check on his queen. Before he could though, someone passed by him dragging a body. He narrowed his eyes for a moment before shaking his head and continuing on, it had been a male who had looked like he was half dead. Chris had brought him in last week, that's why he had seemed so familiar.

"My Queen," Chris knelt, waiting for her permission to stand. Once he received it, Chris removed a scroll from the side of his belt. "You've received word from your brother," he handed over the scroll, hoping it was a declaration of war, or something provoking that would give Chris the chance to kill him. Jason really rubbed him the wrong way and Chris wasn't quite sure why.

The Queen of Hell sat on her throne thinking about switching to one of her other three vessels, it had been weeks since she switched to her true form. A perfect figure with long bright pink hair, yellow eyes and thin horns. The type of demon she was-was a demon that needs four different bodies just to survive forever. Each body that Jennora had she referred to as a 'vessel'. In all of her vessel's were pieces of her dark soul. In order to kill her off one of immortal strength would have to destroy all of her vessels. However she kept them in very safe spots around her castle. Nobody but herself and Chris knew how to get to them, and it wasn't exactly very easy at that fact.

As Chris entered the room she wondered why he was back so soon, when he annouced he had a letter she motioned him further, to the King's throne. Where Jennora often let Chris sit. In hopes one day that would truly be his postion. Jennora carefully opened the letter. Expecting there to be something about war. However it just stated to take care of the girl in the dungeon until he got back. But to not kill or let her escape. Jennora pursed her lips in thought, she had sensed an odd human around the castle, however did not yet act upon it. She figured this strange human had to be one of her brother's new pets. Suddenly she wondered if this girl was the one from the scrolls that Jason had been obsessing about. His hunger for more power than she had was getting out of control. Jennora had to learn more about this girl, and she had to do it fast.

She looked up at Chris, her heart ached in her chest. She felt forbidden love for him, after saving his life she didn't expect him to follow her home, it was such a powerful bond that she accidentally gave him. He had the choice to deny it but he didn't. Jennora was far more merciful than her brother, she went to great lengths to save lives rather than take it. No matter her title, she was still a Queen. "Jason has done something stupid. I'm not exactly sure for what, but he has brought a girl to the castle, and has her in the dungeon. If she is from those scrolls we need her on our side. Jason will not be back for at least a week. This gives us enough time to make this girl ours. I need you to bring her to me. Chris, please be nice."

There was concern on her face, an expression that Chris very much disliked. It was his job to quell the Queen's worries and he would do so to the fullest extent. When Jennora gave the order, Chris nodded his head. "Should I have a room prepared?" The prisoner that Jason had gone to great lengths to find was here, he understood. Chris didn't really know under what terms and if the girl was here willingly, either way, it would probably be best to treat her as a guest. When the Queen answered, Chris began the trek to the prison. It was far beneath the ground and there were several levels depending on how much of a threat the prisoner posed. Chris could only imagine that she would be on the level with the most security, seeing as how Jason probably didn't want her to escape. When he walked down to the lowest floor and his boots touched the ground, Chris suddenly felt unnerved. He placed his hand on the sword he kept with him. In battle, Chris used a possessed gun that shot demonic spirits to kill, but here in the castle, he used a regular sword that was standard issue with the uniform.

He walked down the hall, chills growing on his arms. Being in the dungeon always did that seeing as how it was a hive of the worst sort of scum and villainy. When he reached the last door, Chris placed a key into the lock and opened the door, going down another short hallway, when he reached the end, there was a huddled form in the corner. She was naked, that much Chris could tell, wearing only underwear and ropes that tied her so that she couldn't move. Chris slid the door open, waking the human up. She looked up with wide eyes, her entire form shaking. He couldn't really see her so well in the darkness and as Chris walked in, he felt an odd sense of familiarity. "Don't resist," Chris warned as he took a knife out of his pocket and cut the ropes binding her. She was just a child, Chris could tell at least that much. What would possess Jason to hurt a kid like this? Chris's hands balled into fists. He had never liked that damn demon.

When the last of the ropes were sawed off, he pulled the gag out of the kid's mouth and helped her to her feet. "Hold on," Chris took off the jacket of his uniform and wrapped it around her shoulders. She was shaking, whether it was from fear or the cold Chris couldn't tell. "Come with me," he ordered, placing a hand on her shoulder and steering her out of the cell.

Reyna was tired. She was tired of crying, tired of shaking, tired of feeling scared. Every time one of the guards moved, her posture would stiffen. Her throat felt raw from her muffled screams. It had prompted one guard to look at her and simply tell her to stop since it would disturb the other prisoners. Of course this only scared her more, what was she doing in a prison? What had she done to inflict this monarch's rage? Her saving grace came in the form of a soldier. He knelt down beside her, undoing the ropes that had rubbed her skin raw. Reyna clutched the jacket as she followed him, ignoring the whistles of male prisoners at her underwear-clad form. She felt miserable despite the fact that she had finally been released and wanted nothing more than to collapse into her mother's arms.

Your mother is dead. Reyna stopped walking, her eyes widening at the memory. Her parents bloody forms, her Mother's smile as her last words went unheard. The soldier stopped beside her, he placed a hand over her eyes and pulled her into his chest, an unexpected comfort. "The King often employees some very unorthodox methods to get his work done. I don't blame you for feeling scared." His hands fell away, Reyna followed him up the winding staircase, the dungeon door slamming shut behind them. Upstairs, it was light out. This was no ordinary light; Reyna looked out the floor to ceiling window, her eyes widening. This world was like nothing she had ever seen before. "Where are we?" Her question went ignored. A woman in a maid servant uniform walked up to the soldier who took the bundle from her arms. He held it out to her, taking his jacket from her shoulders. "Put this on," he instructed. Reyna blushed, remembering she was naked and quickly pulled the dress on over her shoulders. It fit perfectly, which for some reason, made her feel even worse. They had not only violated her home, killed her parents, but had violated her body as well? The soldier placed his hand on her shoulder once more, steering her forward.

They arrived at a large set of wooden doors, the mahogany not so intimidating as much as what was behind it. The Soldier pushed them open and led her inside the throne room where a woman was sitting, an unreadable expression on her face. "My Queen," the boy gave a quick bow. "The girl, as you requested." Her hands balled into fists, in a rare moment of courage, Reyna looked up at the imposing woman. "Why did you bring me here?" Her voice had come out a bit louder than she had intended, but Reyna stood with her posture straight, one hand against her chest, the other by her side, both in fists. "You killed my parents, they were... They are..." Her knees buckled and she fell to the ground, tears running down her cheeks. "They're really dead aren't they?"

Upon waiting for her beloved partner to bring the celestial human to her throne room, Jennora thought of how exactly she should go about this new situation. Wondering if just maybe it was more of a problem then she at first expected. She was suddenly pacing the room, her long pink hair flowing side to side as she walked, her horns glowed a yellow amber color as she thought harder on this subject. Jennora looked up as she sensed Chris's presence, as quickly as a demon could she moved back to her throne chair. Staring at the large wooden doors, as they opened she eye'd very detail of this new human.

Nothing was said as she made a personal image of this girl, Jennora bit her bottom lip as the girl spoke, feelings of her emotions hitting Jennora's chest like a soothing touch. Jennora stood from her throne and walked down to the girl where she put her hands on the girls shoulder and took all her pain from inside her. It was a quick relief for the girl, however Jennora winced at the sudden emotions. After a long breath, she bowed her head and looked into the girl's eyes. "I did not kill your family, that would be my careless brother. I am deeply sorry for your lost. However if you do not wish to join them you will have to do everything I tell you too. Starting with a spiritual bond between yourself and I. Once you accept it, Jason will never be able to harm you. However you will be linked to me for the rest of your life."

Jennora looked up at Chris and back at the girl. "My name is Jennora. You may call me whatever you please. This is Chris, my trusted servant. He is my equal as are you. He is also spiritually bonded with me, I am able to give him abilities to help keep him alive, which is what you will have. However since Chris as technically died and been brought back he is immortal. You will still be human." Jennora tried her best to explain, as she did, anyone would be able to see that she held pain behind her words. Still effected by the girl's emotions.

So her parents were simply gone, just like that? Because this girl, because her brother decided to off them? Reyna couldn't believe it. "No," she whimpered pitifully from her spot on the ground. Her parents, they were with her brother now it seemed. Who would take over the Kingdom? Who would watch over the people? "Please, I need to return, my people, there is no one there to protect them." All that studying in preparation to one day become Queen after marrying a Prince. It had all gone to waste now, hadn't it? Still, anything was better than that dungeon, even this room before this horned woman. A spiritual bond? No, Reyna didn't want anything like that. She shook her head, refusing. She was standing then, taking a step back. "No, I have to get back home-" the man with the hair so blonde it was practically white had moved, quick as a flash, his sword pressed against her throat.

"When the Queen is talking, you listen." He said calmly, apparently taking a visual cue from the woman on the throne and returning to her side like a loyal dog. Reyna's hands fluttered over the space, but there was no slice. She felt like she couldn't breathe. "I don't want a spiritual bond," she tried to sound fierce and not afraid, but in truth, Reyna was very scared. Like most children, she had grown up with stories of the horned Queen, the one who slept in the glass coffin. Her mother used to tell her that if she wasn't a good girl, the horned Queen would come for her. The blonde by the Queen's side had a mask of calm, but his eyes were like ice.

Reyna took another step back, perhaps it was the fear or the driving need to return home, but she turned, fleeing the room. She didn't think she'd get far, but it didn't matter. She was bruised and battered and she didn't know where she was, even if she left there was no guarantee that she'd ever be able to find her way back home. That boy, he had taken off after her. He wasn't running, he was walking, eerily calm. Reyna's heart beat rapidly in her chest, it was painful. Even if the Queen had taken a few of her emotions, she couldn't take the pain of the injuries that boy in the castle had given her.

He lifted her off of her feet by the back of the dress and carried her towards the throne room once more. "Put me down! I need to go home! Let me go this instant!" There were tears in her eyes, she had given up struggling, knowing it was futile. He deposited her back on the throne room floor, climbing up to the steps to return to his lady's side. "Please."

The Queen paced the white tiled floor, in the cracks were stained blood from when she killed several people that managed to piss her off. She thought about the girl's words as she came to a complete stop and sat back on her throne. Her lips pursed together as her back straighten against the back of the throne chair.

"If you go back to your kingdom you will only give your people no more hope as they are now enslaved by Jason and his army. If any one of his men catch you, you will be killed on the spot. Then who will run your kingdom and protect your people?"

Jennora stared at the girl, waiting for her response. However before the girl could response, Jennora continued her speech. "I am a queen, I have no King and I rule a whole Kingdom twice the size of yours. I have the power to make you a queen and give you the power to rule your own kingdom with or without a King by your side. I can teach you how to rule, as well as the basics of being a queen. I can see that you are poorly taught, you will not last one day as a queen without the proper training. However, if you take my first offer I will not only teach you how to be a queen but you will have an ally, an army, and I will show you several suitors if you wish to rule along side another. As well as get you onto the court of both your world and mine." Jennora offered her the best possible deal that a Demon Queen can offer her. She looked up at Chris for a second, sending him a thought. 'Please go find a suitable room where it would be impossible to get to exits without knowing the castle maps.'

Her attention turned back to the girl again as Chris left. "Please child, do the right choice for your people. If you let Jason get away with this I will have a huge mess to clean up and I cannot promise that any lives can be saved."

She was pacing, Reyna had made her mad and she was afraid of what would happen now. Why would they kill her? Why had they taken her here in the first place? Was it because of that story, the old one about a girl with blood that contained a magic that could rival that of any demon's, that could give them power beyond their wildest dreams. How could she protect her people if she was dead? The Queen had a very good point. Reyna had no plans to die, however, she wanted to live so that she could ensure the thriving of her Kingdom, to finish the job her parents had started. Yes, she was about to say so as well when the Queen went on and Reyna stayed silent, wiping away her tears.

The Queen of Hell was larger than life, even standing before her Reyna could hardly tell this was real. She had known one day that one of the kidnapping attempts would succeed, she had never imagined it to happen this way, however, and her heart fluttered oddly in her chest. It was anxiety, she realized; as a child she was prone to attacks that would leave her breathless and shaking. Of course it was only appropriate to have one now, but this was different, it was physically painful to breathe. Blood touched her lips and she licked them nervously, tasting the coppery sweet liquid that she tried to keep from flowing out.

"I'm sorry," she whispered. Perhaps this was a sign of the damage he had caused to her body? It hurt with every breath, ribs crackling, legs aching from having been tied for so long. Reyna had hardly noticed the boy at her side slipping away and it felt like an eternity as she debated, thinking of an answer. Reyna opened her mouth, about to say something, when the blonde returned. "He's back." He seemed perturbed by something, he climbed up the steps, one hand on his odd sword. He leaned in to whisper into the Queen's ear, "I was looking for a room when I saw him. He's back far too early and wants his prisoner." He straightened, eyes like liquid steel.

"Ye-" she said quickly, having made up her mind. She coughed, cutting her word short. It almost as though she were saying, "you," rather than agreeing to the Queen's terms. Blood painted her fingers, running between them like water. Pink and red, just like the Queen of Hearts she thought as her knees weakened. She shouldn't have been standing, she was aggravating injuries that if given a few more hours, would have finished healing.

The room was cold, the only sounds that Jennora could hear was the rapid beating of the human girl's heart and her gasps for air. She was badly injured, even a fool could tell that. Her body looked as if it would give out at any moment. She was strong, Jennora respected that, she could last so much pain and torture and still be standing through it all.

The front door opened, Jennora could feel it from down the halls, in came him. She knew it was beginning to be too late. She needed to act fast, as Jason was pacing the floors Jennora started the ritual in her head. Her eyes turning a bright red as her horns grew. As Chris came in and told her the news quietly, she held out her hand for the human girl, using a charm on the girl to bring her closer without the girl's knowledgement. Before the girl realized she was sitting on the smaller throne beside Jennora.

Quickly Jennora linked their souls, keeping ahold of her hand as she did this. A bright light absorbed into the skin on each other's arms, before a feeling rushed into Jennora. She could feel every last thing on Reyna, she quickly shut it out to not feel the exhausting pain.

Next a bright light surrounded both the girl and Chris, sending them both to the ground in pain as Jennora transferred over abilities to both of them. "Girl, you can now use the element Water. Use it against Jason, he is a pure fire demon. Chris, you have your favorite ability back. Be prepared."

Jennora stood from her throne and walked forward just as she felt Jason approaching. As the door opened the slightest bit a dagger came flying at Jennora's face. It stopped inches in front of her and fell. "Your going to have to better than that Jason." She spoke with a type of cruel humor as she stood in front of her brother.

His eyes were blue, his face was stern, he was determined on getting what was his. He paced through the castle, trying to sense where Reyna was. After confronting the brother of his victim he knew where she was. He raced to the throne room, opening the door without touching it and throwing a dagger straight at his sister. However, she denied it, it hit the floor with a loud clack sound. She smiled, his heart ached with mixed feelings. He used to love her, he used to adore her. Until he craved to be better than her, one day he wanted her to come to him. Needing his help and no more the way around. However with how events were playing that clearly wasn't going to happen anytime soon.

Jason paced the floor before him, not inching closer to his beloved sister, he eyed Reyna, then looked over at Chris. Chris didn't seem to be protecting his little sister, perhaps he didn't know? Jason started laughing hysterically, he met everyone's stare. No one was impressed, he coughed and slapped his chest before pointing at Chris. "It's a miracle how you have no memory of who you were before Jennora saved you. That girl sitting in that chair is your sister." Jason smiled however his smile didn't last long before his sister slapped him right on the cheek. Not only bare hand, but with her stupid controlled fire. His face burned for a moment, no skin was being damaged by the fire due to the fact he could handle it.

He clenched his teeth and glared at Jennora. "Do you not believe me? Open up his memories. Check for yourself. Chris King." He smiled at Jennora through clenched teeth. He didn't know what to do, how to act. Reyna had been linked to Jennora, that's way he could sense even more power inside her. "Just when I think you can't get even stronger, you do." He clenched his fists as he stepped closer to the Queen of Hell. "I can still hurt you." He smiled as he lunged for her with sword in hand.

Her body was giving in, soon she'd be out for hours as her body healed itself, it had always had that strange ability. When her legs gave out, Reyna realized she was sitting, she was right beside the Queen of Hell herself and her heart beat rapidly in her chest, blood rolling down her chin. She touched it with her hand, swallowing, hoping that it wouldn't get on the pretty dress she was being loaned. A silly thing to worry about, something only a princess would concern herself with really. The Queen took her hands, staring into her eyes and Reyna stared back, a bit mesmerized by the glowing set of orbs fixed directly on her like some sort of demonic staring contest.

She was slipping, Reyna could feel it. A halo of light surrounded her and then there was crippling pain, worse than before. She cried out, slipping from the chair and falling to her hands and knees, one arm wrapped around her middle in terrible agony, as though her insides were being ripped apart in the most savage way. Blood dripped down the staircase, the door opened, the room dropping several degrees. "I'm sorry," Reyna said quietly, coughing. "I've stained your throne room," her hands were shaking as she sat up, facing the man-the monster that had ripped her from her home.

As he spoke, her eyes slowly widened. Her brother? Reyna could remember her parents speaking of him, of the portrait in the hallway she would stand in front of for hours, a black veil pulled over it so that you could hardly see the boy beneath. In that portrait he was very young and in her mind, Reyna had always believed him to be some fantastic hero who had saved her father, the King. Her brother, the hero, her brother, the warrior, her brother; a lie. He seemed to stiffen, unable to face her. Reyna cried out in pain, she was too weak to use her new gift of water.

Then everything went murky, her eyes fluttered and closed, her body going limp, an arm draped over the staircase. She would be fine in two or three hours, up and running better than before. The soul link, the ritual Jennora had performed, could be reversed. It was incredibly painful and could possibly kill the host body, but it was possible. Perhaps this was better though, if Jason caused Reynapain, Jennora would feel it.

Chris stood at the ready, sword drawn, lips pulled into a grin. "Thank you my Queen," he said, standing after the initial pain. The other human wasn't faring well, but it was to be expected since it was her first soul link, after all. A waste of a good gift, he thought, but he wouldn't say anything until later on, when he and the Queen were alone once more. The door opened, a dagger flying in. Even with his sword drawn and lifted, Jennora deflected it first. "Tch, I saw it coming." He muttered, feeling his sword change. It was just an illusion, the sword, really, it was a rifle, an enchanted weapon that hung at his side.

His eyes widened at Jason's words, a sister? He had a sister? His mind flashed back to a bundle of a child in a little pink blanket, laying in a bassinet at his mother's side. He pushed the heel of his palm into one eye, making the image go away. After the accident, his memories had all left him. Sometimes he got flashes, but they made his head spin and he hated seeing them. Jennora was his world, in his opinion, his life hadn't truly begun until that fateful day, when he was drowning in his own blood and she came and revived him. "You're lying!" He growled, aiming a shot at Jason, knowing it wouldn't hit the Blood King. Shots sent at random would do no one any good.

"I don't have a family!" He sent another one, this one dangerously close. No, Jennora was the only one he needed, anyone else, anything else is a lie! He wouldn't believe it. The girl, the one who seemed so familiar with pink hair and eyes that sparkled the same way that day he had last seen her. No! It was a lie! It was all a lie!

Jennora rushed to Reyna's side, now knowing her name thanks to her brother. She could feel the girl's pain. Jennora rested Reyna's head on her knees, her lace dress as a comforting pillow for the girl. She inhaled, and exhaled energy into Reyna's mouth, she stopped when the girl's eyes were open and her body was healed. Jennora helped her back onto her chair, and reassured her everything was fine. "Go ahead and beat Jason up if you want too." She smiled, a sort of evil yet mothering smile.

She heard Chris's scream and looked at him as he fell into a wall in pain. Jennora rushed to his side, to heal him and ease the memories. She gave him a kiss, a healing kiss, but also a kiss that reassured him that she still needed him. Once Chris was standing again, she guided him to her throne chair and pushed him down into it. She then sat on top of him, her right arm on the arm, her head rested against his shoulder. "Well my lovelies. What should we do with him? Should we let him go? Should we torture him? Should I bond him to the castle, unable to use any violence?" Jennora thought about killing him, she shook her head and frowned. "I can't kill him yet."

Jason dodged Chris's weak attacks as Jennora left the scene to go to Reyna's side. "You think I would lie about family? I'm not that cold. Reyna King is in fact your little sister. Would you like to see for yourself?" Jason laughed at him, holding his hand up to shoot a ball of fire into the air, memories attacking Chris, clouding his vision enough for Jason to attack him, sending him flying into a wall with another fire ball.

Reyna was sitting in the chair now, looking like he hadn't tortured her the day before. His eyes quickly changed to Jennora where she was healing Chris from across the room, her guard was down it was his chance. He lunged for her again, hitting her in the chest, she bled but it was quickly healed. He tried to go for her again but she attacked him. He was the one flying across the room now. She spoke in tongues, before he knew it he was bond to the floor. Jennora went to Chris's side, from there Jason couldn't see anything. "She's mine! Give her to me!"

Reyna stirred, awaking the same way one feel asleep. Slowly at first, then all at once. Her eyes widened as she remembered where she was and her pink orbs fixed on those of the Blood King. The man was staring at her hard, was this the rumored Jason that even those in the mortal world feared? The one who killed her parents and tortured her? Why would he do that? Jennora told her to beat Jason up and Reyna stood, gathering the material of her dress in her hands. "What gives you the right to decide I'm yours!" She said, her heart fluttering in fear. She seemed steady despite it, although surely Jennora could feel the terror clutching at the pink haired female.

"I haven't promised anything to you!" Much less her hand, or perhaps her parents had made some sort of deal with the devil, but then why would he kill them? Weren't her parents smart enough to never believe the word of a demon? Somewhere out in the Kingdom of Hell, the cry of a banshee could be heard and Reyna had a terrible feeling that someone was going to die. Perhaps not in this throne room, not yet at least. Reyna had half a mind to have the Queen bind him to some inanimate object if it was possible, that way he couldn't feel anything ever again. Or maybe he could, she wasn't exactly sure how the whole bonding thing worked.

Maybe they could take another side? Her parents had always taught her compassion and mercy, with the Blood King though, was there any chance of something like that working? "Wait," she said slowly once Jennora had finished speaking in tongues. She descended the steps, hesitantly approaching. Maybe it was naivety, maybe it was something else, but Reyna went up to him, looking at the man laying on the floor. "You are a pathetic sight to behold," she said although there was no malice in her tone. Reyna sighed and shook her head, "But maybe it's because no one has shown you any kindness." She offered a hand up, ready to use this new gift of water in case she was quickly betrayed.

These memories? Where was he getting them from? The ball of fire before him, showing Chris something he never wanted to see was painful. He shot another bullet, hoping to hit him. Instead, Chris was hit and pushed into the wall, the memories of his early years flooding his mind. He screamed in pain, headbutting the demon before him to make him go away. Chris slid to the floor, panting, his body breaking out in a cold sweat. A sister was an impossibility, he told himself, everyone at the accident had been dead unless a few escaped. Perhaps the King had returned home to his wife, going on his merry way minus one son.

No, no one could be that cruel. They would have taken him back, right? Unless he was already dead. Unless Jennora was lying. Jennora had fled to his side, soothing Chris with kisses, getting him back on his feet. She led him back to the throne, pushing him into a sitting position and then sitting in his lap. His mind had stopped roiling, he was under control of himself once more. "I say bind him to the castle, that way he can't escape." Suddenly, the pink haired girl walked down the steps. "Get away from him!" Chris snapped but she didn't seem to listen, saying something about kindness.

"He'll trick you!" Chris couldn't move though, not with the Queen on his lap. Jason was harmless before her, but still, blatantly walking up to the enemy. This child wouldn't survive a day if thrown into the real world, he couldn't bring himself to feel anything besides malice at the pink haired being that had been newly linked to his Queen. "My Queen, please allow me to punish them both for their stupidity." Or perhaps it was audacity.

Jennora pursed her lips as she watched the scene play out in front of her, she grasped Chris's arm as an attempt to control his rage. She glared at him for a quick second before turning her attention back to the romantic scene in front of her. Jason had pulled her close, obviously catching her off guard. Jennora frowned and looked at Chris, gently pushing his head down to met her eyes. "Why can't you hold me and kiss me like that?" She pouted. "Do you not love me enough? I honestly didn't have the power to bring your memories back. Out of all the things I can do that is not one of them." She rolled her eyes at how sad that really was for herself.

She stood from Chris's lap, gracefully headed towards the two. "I'm very pleased that you can be so submissive Jason. This is so wonderful for me. I don't have to worry about you." She said so sarcastically, she could see straight through that mask, but then again Jason did have his well behaved parts. She stood a few feet from them and saw Jason whisper something in Reyna's ear, however she was too busy listening to the beating heart of Chris and feeling his anger. "I don't think they need to be punished." She commented late.

The smart ass smirked at the words exchanged from the three that sat at top of the steps. His focus was on Reyna as she came closer. He thought about her offer carefully, however as he did, the bonds around his wrists disappeared and a blue tribal tattoo was burned into his right hand. "Thank you Jennora for inviting me to stay." He said as he took Reyna's hand, pulling her closer to give her a random peck on the cheek. He held her hand in his and pulled her tight. "If I can't drink very last drop of blood before I leave this place I will personally kill you." He whispered sweetly in her ear.

There was nothing sweet or gentle about him, she could see the facade he put on as soon as his expression changed. He grabbed Reyna by the waist, pecking her cheek, whispering in her ear. Reyna pushed him away from her, feeling chills creep up her spine. "Don't touch me like that!" She said and slapped his cheek. Helping him to his feet was not an invitation to openly touch her. "I won't forgive you for what you've done, I might show you mercy now you pitiful creature but don't think I'll forgive you for killing my parents!" Her hands were shaking with rage. "Excuse me while I go collect my thoughts," Reyna said and left. She had only shown him kindness thinking that maybe there was an inkling of good, but now it was obvious that he had no intention of straightening his ways. Fine then, Reyna would ignore him, make him feel as pitiful as she had when he tortured her.

Chris's eyes were burning with rage, some protective big brother instinct that seemed to have been missing all of these years. Now it smoldered underneath the steely cold gaze of his eyes. If he could burn holes in Jason with a simple glance he would, but Chris was human and could do no such thing. Jennora touched his face, tilting his chin towards her. His expression softened, "I'm sorry." He said quietly, "I'll try to be more attentive to your needs. I'll whisper lies in your ear whenever you want." It was a joke of course, a play on the fact that Chris knew exactly what sort of game Jason was going to play.

To his surprise, the pink haired girl was more than just a helpless little whelp. She slapped Jason full on, then stormed out of the room in the most graceful way a Princess could muster. Chris's rapidly beating angry heart calmed just a bit and he laughed. "I'm sorry," he apologized, straightening in an attempt to appear more professional in front of the Queen. "He deserved every ounce of that." Chris grinned, a small crack in his exterior armor shining through. When Jennora came back to his side, Chris swept her off of her feet and kissed her passionately on the lips.

"Is that better? Or would you prefer I make empty threats and kiss your cheeks?" Chris asked, blatantly displaying the true knowledge of the extent of Jason's mind war. "I'll need a new army to simply take care of your brother."

Jennora laughed out loud, holding her waists to try and balance herself as Jason got a nice slap to the face. He stared angrily at the floor, his fists clenched up. Jennora watched as Reyna left the room, Jennora thought of the map to a room she knew of for Reyna, hoping the girl could see it. She then turned and returned to her future King's side. When she did she was surprised with a wonderful sweep and a kiss. She smiled brightly as her heart filled with love and butterflies, something only a lucky demon could experience. She wrapped her arms around his neck as he asked if she wanted lies, she giggled a little bit and shook her head, brushing her lips against his. "Maybe a little bit of both?" She kissed him back, a breathless kiss since she sucked some sexual energy out of his soul. She licked her lips and stared at him, not realizing that she was pressing her body against his.

She heard a cough from the corner of the room, "Oh! Yes, Jason." Jennora said letting go of Chris and straightening her body as she held her hands in front of her and smiled at her brother. "Jason, go to your room and think about the bad things you've done." Jennora said taking his arm and leading him to his room. When they got to his door, she slapped him across the same cheek Reyna did. "Touch her again, and I will kill this vessel." She told him with a doll like innocence. She left him in the hallway as she headed towards Reyna's room next..

.......................
Jennora lightly knocked on the large red stained wood doors before opening it. Almost punching the guard that announced her arrival. "What was the point of getting those stupid things?" Jennora asked out loud as she closed the door behind her. She sat on Reyna's mini couch by the glass table full of food and drinks. "Please believe and feel that I truly am apologic for the wrongs that have been done to you lately." Jennora looked up at Reyna just then. "I honestly don't have the ablitly to restore memories, I can take them away but that's it. And as for your Kingdom and parents, I'm sure they'd want you to keep fighting. I am the Angel of death, the Queen of Hell. I am the nicest demon you will ever meet. You are not owned by anyone, you just have befriended a very nice one."

"I probably deserved that." Jason muttered to himself after he got slapped. After Reyna walked away he muttered "and that." His eyes automatically fell on the the other two empty souls in this room. The two were sharing a sexual accounter of some kind. He rose an eyebrow and stared at them before realizing where this was going. He shook his head and faked a loud cough. This did exactly what Jason wanted, the end of that disgusting display.

Jason walked the hallways with his sister as she clung onto his arm. His brothering instincts kicked in, has a child for the first ten centuries he always wanted to make her happy and smile.. Now she just constantly hates him. He destroyed his relationship with her, and yes it hurt, but becoming stronger than her was first on his list.

Upon arriving to the door Jason received another slap, he rubbed his cheek and popped his weak human vessel's neck back into place. He sighed and nodded at his sister's threat. All his rage and actions were stripped from him, she held it all too far from arms length. He watched her walk away but however noticed Chris did not, he looked at Chris. Chris was giving Jason a stare that couldn't be processed. "What are you looking at? Isn't your Mistress too fair from your side?" Jason mocked the Knight.

Reyna saw a picture in her mind, as clear as day with a bright red door. She wasn't sure how, maybe this was the soul connection? She walked in the direction the map showed her and reached the door. Reyna poked her head inside, it was a nice room with a fake window that had a screen, showing a picture of a pristine garden with a calming little pool. Reyna stepped fully into it, closing the door behind her softly and picking up a bottle of water to quench her thirst. She kicked off her shoes, leaving them by the door and went further into the room, sitting down on the bed and draining the bottle of water. Reyna looked out the window, thinking to herself. Clearly getting out of here was going to be tough.

The door opened, Jennora came in then, plopping herself down on the couch. "Don't apologize, it's not your fault." She softened, her emotions on full display now. "I've heard stories, I'm relieved that you're not half as scary as the tales paint you." The stories detailed her as a ferocious beast that tore any human who stepped into her domain to shreds. Reyna was relieved to still believe and not ripped limb from limb. Jason seemed to want to do it though, he said himself he was going to drain her like a juice box. "I just wish I could have saved them."

It was nice to her it, that she wasn't owned. Her whole life her parents had taught her that woman were not just toys to make men happy, that girls could have their own thoughts and opinions too. They had also taught her, however, that there were times when women should stay silent and that speaking out of turn could be dangerous. "Thank you for your hospitality and for beating some sense into that boy." She tried for a smile, hoping that humor was accepted in a situation such as this one.

Chris didn't mind the feeding, he never had. It actually did him some good, taking out the tension. Then Jason coughed and ruined the moment. Chris glared at the man, he ruined everything of course. "I'll see you in our room," he said, brushing a strand of hair away from her face and watching her go check on their new guest. It would be dangerous if she tried to leave, he knew, and so as head of the Queen of Hell's royal guard, Chris assigned soldiers at various stations and in front of the door to ensure the human couldn't leave. He didn't care what Jason said about memories, Chris would protect the child because it was his job, not because of any blood relations.

In the Underworld, the blood of the convent was much thicker than the blood of family. Chris left the throne room and heard Jason sneer at him. His clothes were still burned from the fire and it had hurt, but thanks to Jennora the pain had gone away. "Mind your own business dog," he snapped, tired of Jason's short lived temper. He smiled cleverly, an unreadable expression on his face. "What's the matter? Sad that you've lost your new toy already?" He laughed, the sound harsh and grating. "Grow up." He turned quickly, with all the sharpness of a soldier and went to his and Jennora's room.

[Center][font=times new roman]Beyond the metal gates of the Bloods fanily manison lies the portal to Hell itself. The underworld of Earth, where demons of all kinds live waiting to be set free..Β  To kill... To take... To destroy all in its path. This must never happen and will never happen as long as Jennora claims the royal throne of Hells vast lands.
Over a thousand decades Jennora has kept the peace between all the speices just to have Jason come crashing down on it. Now it is up to Jennora to save the world again. At the same time she must save an important teenage humans life too. Jason has to be stopped or reasoned with. Whatever the cost will be...

Today is the day that Jennora was able to save the human girl from the massacre that happened a couple days ago by Jason. He knew killing the human girl would bring him great power however Jennora had better plans for the snall human. She was going to turn her into a demiangel to help her put a stop to Jason before he destroys himself along the way. It was all up to Jennora to keep the peace between the spieces strong and shed do that at any risk it would take. Jennora tapped her nails on the arnrest to her throne as she bit the insides of her cheeks nervously. Before her was the crying human, probably thinking she was going to die or greiving the family she had just watched get masscred a frw days ago.
Jennora cleared her throat and sat forward, a more realized form of sitting to show the human she meant no harm. "I am terribly sorry for the lost of your family. I know you want justice however your family was not the first to be massacred and will not be the last." Jennora sighed. She didnt come out as nicely as she had tried to make it come out. She took a deep breath before continuing. "Look, I am working on stopping Jason. To keep you safe you are sort of on house arrest here. You have no known family i can send you too because they were all killed at your coming of age party."
Jennora leaned over tonthe throne beside her where Chris sat in full armor, she placed her hand on his. "Can you explain this any nicer?" Jennora felt genuely sympathic but was horrible at showing it. She rolled her head back and sighed "Mother always said id never make a good mother.."
Jennora leaned forward and told Reyna "Jason is currently under control if thst helps ease your mind. Our father took him home for a talk... They last about 45 days." Jennora sort of lied. Their father did talk to Jason but she actually knew he was stuck in a mind game with Loki at this very second, it would last only two human weeks so she didnt have long to turn Reyna and there was still convincing the human girl to do it.

It seemed that the human attempt at humor went over the demon's head. Reyna swallowed, averting her eyes. She was upset, more than likely in a state of shock. Later on she would process this better, she would run Jennora's words over and over in her mind until they no longer made sense. "Thank you," her voice was low. Reyna swallowed hard, the hit of losing everything she had ever known was a large one. Imagine watching your parents, who had raised you from a babe, being torn apart limb from limb by a monster who knew not what kindness was. Reyna hugged herself, Jennora's next utterance was not calming in the least. She was on arrest here? "I don't have any other family," she admitted, wondering if she had a distant cousin that Jennora could send her to. So distant Jason would not know of their existence.

45 days? Reyna breathed a sigh of relief, but it was clear that her anxiety was still ever-present. A lot had happened today and all Reyna wanted to do at the moment was sleep. Alas, she remained awake, listening to Jennora, who gestured to her guard, whom Reyna could not decipher if he was demon or something else. Reyna had never heard of humans working for demons, surely this being was only humanoid in appearance. Chris cleared his throat, glancing between Jennora and Reyna.

From my understanding, you are not to leave this room unattended. I have stationed guards at all entrances, they will escort you to and from wherever it is you go. You are not to leave the castle grounds, you are not to reveal your identity to anyone, and most importantly, you are to listen to the Queen. Your life is in grave danger, not only because of your status as Princess, but because of the fact that you're human. Humans never last long in the underworld."

Reyna watched as he turned away, looking up at Jennora. "Will that suffice?" Reyna balled the sheets in her fists, she was afraid that if she spoke she might burst into tears and so she simply nodded, wondering if this day could possibly get worse.
