∞ Full name ∞

Remri Augustus Melrow

∞ Nickname ∞
August || This has been the name he's used since he was a child and isn't keen on being called by any other name, especially his first. Though names like "Smart Ass" and "Manipulative Bastard" are probably used just as often.

Rem || Something a childhood friend once used to call him, however he's never spoken of this nickname. In fact, he's likely to have forgotten it.

∞ ID Number ∞
S79047

∞ Age ∞
17

∞ Gender ∞
Male

∞ Sexuality ∞
Heterosexual

∞ Face Claim ∞
Izaya Orihara || Durarara!!

Image
∞ Height & Weight ∞
5'10"//132lbs

∞ Hair Color ∞
Black

∞ Eye Color ∞
August's eyes are normally a dark brown color, but may give off a lighter amber hue when light is reflected upon them.

∞ Distinguishable Facial Features ∞
None

∞ Birthmarks/Scars/Tattoos/Other ∞
If you were to run your fingers through August's hair and get a glimpse of his bare head, one could see that there are very few parts of his head that do not bare a scare of some sort. There is also a long, decently sized scar that runs almost all the way up his spine.

∞ Physical Description ∞
Despite standing at a more or less average height for his age, August has a rather slim figure with long, thin legs and arms and a small torso. His lean figure often works to his advantage though, and even with his slender frame he still has quite the strong build. His skin is a somewhat medium tone, becoming somewhat paler after spending countless days in a lab without sunlight.

He hasn't always had the shaggy look that he does now, with fine strands of hair that stick out here and there. It was once well-kept and combed neatly, falling evenly around his neck and ears. However it's now quite messy looking since having separate areas of his head shaved over time allowed locks of his hair to grow at different lengths.

Moving on to his facial features, August has the type of look that could make practically anyone uneasy. His narrowed eyes that house such beautifully brown irises are cold and can often seem intimidating. He's not a terribly bad-looking male specimen, in fact he likes to think of himself as rather handsome, not that he gives a damn about his appearance and whether someone considers him attractive or not.

Fashion has never been a big deal to him and the only time he's ever dressed up was when he was basically forced to. It's not odd to see him wearing similar outfits everyday, with a mix between black and grey shirts and a casual pair of blue or black jeans. One thing that remains constant is his black fuzzed hooded jacket, something he'll have on even in the middle of a blazing summer.

∞ Likes ∞
β™₯ Challenges || If everything was easy the world would just be boring.
β™₯ Storms || Particularly the ones where you can scream without anyone hearing you because of how heavy the rain is. He finds thunder and lightening to be very exciting.
β™₯ Alcoholic Beverages || Immune to it's intoxicating effects on the brain, he merely just enjoys drinking it for the taste.
β™₯ Danger || He's kind of an adrenaline junky and gets a thrill out of being thrown into dangerous situations. That is, as long as he mostly has the upper hand.
β™₯ Crackers || Earth food doesn't really suit his tastes, but saltine crackers are an exception and seem to be one of the only things he eats.

∞ Dislikes ∞
βœ– Sweets || August absolutely hates sweets. Just the sight of them disgusts him.
βœ– Comparison || Don't compare August to other beings unless you're prepared for the consequences. He's not fond of being ruled in with others.
βœ– Interrupted Sleep || He's not the type to sleep early, and will often stay awake most of the night just sitting quietly somewhere, but when he does fall asleep he can be very unpleasant towards anyone who wakes him up.
βœ– Commitment || You'll never hear him make any sort of promise. He hates the thought of being tied down to words or other people.
βœ– Human Food || August hasn't always been quite so thin. He was actually rather fit when the group left Artemis, however he slimmed down quickly due to his distaste for Earth food and only eats small portions from time to time.

∞ Talents ∞
βœ” Eavesdropping || If you're planning on having a private conversation, don't do it within earshot of August. Not that it matters much, since he'll likely find a way to listen to others conversations anyway if he's curious enough.
βœ” Evasion || August isn't one to constantly be throwing the punches. He's an expert at dodging attacks, evading hits until he finds the perfect opening to strike.
βœ” Mental Control || His emotions are very rarely the boss of him. August has a very tight grip on his mind and actions, or at least it seems that way.
βœ” Blades || Though he most commonly uses knives when fighting, he could pick up any bladed weapon and fight with it like a pro.
βœ” Awareness || August is always incredibly aware of his surroundings and isn't clueless to the emotions and intentions of others, even if he doesn't seem to be paying attention.

∞ Fears ∞
✘ Someone Caring for Him || It's easy for August not to give a damn about anyone, but as soon as someone starts caring for him he can't help but be afraid that they might do something stupid for his sake.
✘ Guns || Not that he freezes in terror or anything, but he does tend to get nervous around firearms of any kind and would most likely refuse to pick one up, whether it being a means of last resort or not.
✘ Attachment || Emotional connections can make people act like idiots. He's much more capable when he doesn't have to be concerned about another's safety.

∞ Flaws ∞
✘ Impulsive || Although he usually is very good at thinking before he acts, he does have moments where he'll act impulsively on rare occasions, most common instances being when is anger may get the best of him.
✘ Rebellious || Rules were meant to be broken. It would take an ignorant fool to believe that August would just bow his head and do as he's told. This has caused him to get into an awful lot of trouble multiple times, though it doesn't seem like any amount of discipline has had any effect on his disobedient ways.
✘ Self-centered || Now personally he doesn't believe he's special or better than anyone else, but witnesses to his cocky behavior would say otherwise.

∞ Ability ∞
August has the power of adaptability. He's able to develop both mental and physical adaptations when needed as a means for survival. The ability to adapt is often underestimated, but its uses are vast and can be unpredictable. It's not all that different from evolution, however he must first experience whatever threat first hand before his body can develop whatever adaptation he needs to survive. After an adaptation becomes activated, a well-trained user can chose to "forget" it and their body will loose it, though there are some cases where mental adaptations may not be so easy to erase.

Physical Mutation || While some who have the same ability as him can change their bodies in extreme ways, August's mutations are limited to smaller changes. This can still range from growing gills when being near drowned to developing night vision.

Immunity || There are very few poisons or drugs that will work on August. So far he's still unable to force his body to forget it's immunity to such things, so there are no medicines or vaccines that will take away pain. You won't find him in bed with a cold, and he'd be the last one standing if a plague killed off everything in sight. He does find it a shame that alcohol doesn't work the same as it used to, though.

Mentality || By changing the actual mental structure of his brain, August can have the perfect mental capabilities for any situation. Although he must first have a feel of the situation before adapting, once he knows how to react it's very easy for him to do what he needs to. He could even commit murder without a slice of remorse by just from giving himself the proper mental state to do so. It's hard to tell whether his personality is all based on the adaptations he's taken on through the years, not that he could tell you.

Image
Image
Image

∞ Personality ∞
Selfish || Detached || Unpredictable || Calculating || Careless || Secretive
It's only natural that August would be written off as the suspicious character that shouldn't be trusted, and rightfully so. Suspicious as he may seem though, he's still quite talented at weaving his way into the lives of others. As far as first impressions go, he can actually be quite charming at first. Confident and sure of his actions, the way he holds himself so highly tends to catch the attention of others. Of course the majority of the time it's not in a positive view, not that he cares. In fact he finds it amusing when someone shows their dislike towards him, never hesitating to fuel their distaste for his own enjoyment.

He's not the type to go around making friends, but he's incredibly social and "friendly" when in a group. He likes to tease the younger members of the group, calling them by cutesy nicknames while giving them pats on the head like a grown up would to a toddler. Don't let this sort of brotherly behavior give you the wrong idea, though. He's certainly not about to start protecting any of them, let alone consider any one of his "comrades" to be anything more than collateral damage as soon as he no longer has any use for them.

Clever in ways that could be considered terrifying, August was born with the tongue of a fox, though most would probably think of him as a snake instead. He can be a tricky one to read with his piercing eyes and the little grin that he always seems to be wearing. He's surely an intimidating figure, yet also somewhat alluring and maybe even a little mysterious. He gives off a fearless and often overwhelming aura, hardly ever having to announce his presence when entering a room, yet he can be as transparent as fresh water if he feels like it.

Cold-hearted and slightly sadistic, there is no better thrill than being pushed into a challenge. Better yet, watching how others react to pain and fear. He'll often complain about how boring everything is and he'll do practically anything he can think of to make things more exciting. As one would expect, this usually leads to him stirring up trouble, most certainly envolving the others if he has the chance to. He'll poke his nose into anything that interests him, not giving a single thought to the consequences he or anyone else might have to face in result of his curiosity.

It would be easy to pass off that the time spent in Area 51 is what is responsible for August's unpleasant nature, which isn't entirely untrue. From the beginning he was quite cold an distant, but it's not hard to see that his persona took an even worse turn. Perhaps from enduring the pain of multiple tests with his body being immune to any numbing injections, or it might even be the surgeries themselves that were done countless times on his brain that forced him into this state. Unlike the others he doesn't really feel all that haunted about the torture he had gone through, or so he claims. Putting on a fake smile to hide the pain of the past? How cute.

∞ History ∞
Sye was the name of August's one an only sibling; a twin brother to be exact. The two of them, not having any memory of who their parents were and mostly spending their time on the streets, always argued over who was the older one. They both called each other '"little brother", and there was never a day that went by that they didn't fight over who was older and who should be in charge. This was the only thing they ever fought about though, fore they were quite the team when it came to stealing food and pick-pocketing passer-by's. As young children they stayed with a distant relative of their fathers, and older man whose name August no longer recalls, and for good reason.

The boys mischievous trouble-making didn't go unnoticed and they eventually ended up being caught by the authorities for stealing from a street vendor. They were released with a warning and a fee, which would've been the responsibility of their guardian had he not up and left, leaving August and his brother alone with no way of paying the fine. The two had become fugitives at the age of 10 over a trivial thing that the authorities could've easily overlooked, but chose not to. As a result, the pair had to make a run for it and escaped to another city. It was a much larger and crowded place than the small town they had been raised in, but it didn't take them long to adjust. They were both born as adapters, after all, even if they still had a lot to learn.

Admittedly, living as thieves who had no home to call theirs wasn't an easy feat to deal with. Even as adapters they still had to learn everything themselves as they went along and there were quite a few times where their lives had even been at risk. They seemed to manage though, and within the first year they had found themselves fairy well known to other underground residents and the warrant for their arrest had been issued. They now called themselves by nicknames, Sye simply going by "S." while he shortened August's first name to "Rem". For two and a half years they continued building up their reputation, until they day came where their fame in that city would be the unpredicted downfall of the two.

It came as a shock to August to have his brother ripped away from him without warning His emotions took control of his mind, forcing his adaptability into giving him the motivation he needed to take revenge on the gang who ambushed and murdered his twin. He carelessly strode right into the layer of his brothers killers, cutting down anyone in sight with a look of insanity in his eyes, ignoring any wounds he gained from being outnumbered. In the end he would be found sitting on the floor of the empty building with wounds still bleeding and bodies lying around him. At this point he had calmed down and he was cuffed and taken into custody.

It wasn't uncommon for those born as adapters to sooner or later be overwhelmed by the world and lose control of themselves, but August was different in a way. He seemed unphased by the terrible thing he had just done. In fact he had completely regained himself. It was for this very reason that the government had decided to offer him a place beside candidates that would go on a special mission to Earth in the future. He agreed without a single problem, and accepted the training given to him to stabilize his natural born ability until finally him and seven others boarded the ship that would take them to Earth. However, the mission would come to a fast end as the ship was shot down only minutes after they entered the Earth's atmosphere.

August made little attempt to fight back, rather he surrendered without a fight after he was pierced by a single bullet. He didn't fall over or have tears streaming down his face while blood seeped from the wound. He instead stood up tall with his hands in the air and a cheeky grin on his face as he awaited to be bound and taken. What had happened after and what he had experienced in the time spent inside of Area 51 are a mystery. If you asked though, he'd probably describe it to you down to the smallest detail.

Though August was correct in his internal assumptions of Bosco's worries, it was not the seed of what was bugging him. It was the potential for a conspiracy of a more nefarious nature. The train of thought could be started as thus... Why eight children, the majority of which would not be the best choices anyway, when there would be so many better candidates for ambassadors. Like actual ambassadors. And should the mission be peaceful in intent, why then did Artemis weaponize them. Speaking of weaponizing, there were likely better candidates for that as well. As well, Artemis surely would have known how the humans would have reacted, with as much knowledge as they seemed to have had. I am sure by now you can imagine the worries of Bosco with those few statements. To Bosco, something was not adding up. But like he said, it was not important yet.

"Fair enough." he said to August with a shrug. Of course August was relieved. He didn't picture August being the type of guy to want to be adapted into a masochist for long. Knowing him he would likely say that pain would get boring. "Well I don't see nothing wrong with planning ahead. But it is pointless in doing so when you can't see far enough ahead for it to matter. Though, I will admit there is a certain amount of satisfaction in contigency plan playing out as expected. Then again... I can't argue the satisfaction of winging it either." He said, smiling back at the elder teen.

When Kou came out, Bosco could not help but smile at her. "Of course you can, Kou. I would love for you to." He said, eager to partake in her company as well. He had been meaning to spend some time with her since they got here.

He turned his head to speak to August as he approached the door, Bosco followed and opened the door for himself but didn't make any move in going inside yet. He instead grinned, "Of course I missed you. If you were gone, who else would test my patience so thoroughly?"He jested in return. He looked back to see where Kou was... but she seemed to have already went about her way. Instead of being disappointed, he smiled at that. Quick on the adventure, it seemed. And he had taken a mental note of the flowers she had been paying attention to only moments prior. Maybe something he could use to cheer her up on a bad day, or make her happier on a good day.

Turning back to August once more he nodded and entered, taking off his shoes and leaving them by the door. "Well let's start up top, then. I saw another staircase, I want to find out whats up there. Besides, I need to change clothes soon anyway. I don't feel like trodding around wet all day." He said and made his way up to the second floor and continued his way up to the third level. A rather luxurious recreations area awaited them. Now that was something to see. He could imagine Antos spending a good amount of time in this sort of comfortable setting. And with that fireplace, surely he would feel right at home. The computers seemed a little archaic to the alien, but he assumed that it was good quality for earthlings.

Bosco immediately marched his way to a large and puffy suede recliner and put his hand on it."I hearby claim this vessel of resting to be my own, and reserved for me should we all decide to recreate up here." He said as he imagined how soft and comfy it would be by looks alone. He did turn to look back as he heard someone running up the stairs below. What was going on down there?

Makoto seemed quite willing to jump on the idea of exploring the home, something Antos had been itching to do upon arrival. He would have been content to go on his own, as he had planned to do so, but the idea of having company seemed a much better one, especially after all of the isolation that they had endured. "Right," he said, scooting his seat back as he stood, its legs easily sliding against the polished floor. Now that he had regained his footing, he allowed curiosity to drag him the rest of the way, gliding out of the kitchen and dining room and into the foyer in which they had entered, making sure to keep a slow pace as to stay by Mako.

Antos had to admit, he was fascinated by the house's architecture. Was this the way all human structures were designed? How interesting! However, he forced himself to use self-control, as he knew his more energetic companion would, most likely, not be eager to study every aspect of the home. So, he made his way to the living room that resided across the hall. It looked rather cozy, and welcoming, muttering something about it being rather neat, though he did not give the room too much attention as he was sure he had heard the door open. Antos recognized the voices as Bosco and August, who didn't seem to have noticed their two friends, as they were up the steps in a moment’s notice. It felt weird, to hear the voices of his friends after being away from then for so long. It was refreshing, even, knowing that they were okay.

However, his thoughts didn't linger on that subject for long, returning to his urge to explore. He hadn't really thought to ask where Mako wished to go, though it certainly would have been a polite gesture instead of dragging the poor boy around, instead attracted to the marble staircase that lead upstairs. It's beauty was remarkable, as was the fact that someone had taken the time to carve such a delicate feature to the house for the sole purpose of their use. Antos almost called the humans kind for giving them such a marvelous home, though he quickly reminded himself that they were anything but. This was merely an act to get their alien guests to forgive and forget. Antos, though, wished it was a true display of kindness, as he'd like to have thought that they had somehow changed. Still, he knew they hadn't.

Still, how gorgeous! He swiftly hopped along every smooth step, a hand running along the glossed wooden railing. But, he stopped when he reached the top as he heard a door slam from below, and footsteps and voices following after. Before he could think to inquire what was happening, Kou came racing up the steps, rather frantically, toward the second floor hallway. In her determination to get wherever she was going, Antos doubted she had even noticed that she had passed by two of her fellow aliens, though Antos hadn't really engaged her, instead leaning against the railing so that she could pass.

He almost called out to her, asking what was wrong, though he refrained from doing so, as he was fairly certain Kou did not like him and he didn't wish to make matters worse. Instead, he turned to Mako, merely shrugging, as if to say that he had no idea what was going on. He continued up the steps, watching as Kou knocked upon the door at the end of the hallway, the one he'd seen the human leaning against only a bit earlier. Whatever it was that was troubling her, Xavier was certainly in a better position to fix it than Antos was, unless, of course, she needed something burnt.

Antos lost interest in the subject of Kou's behavior, instead finding himself attracted to the second set of stairs that he had yet to explore. "I wonder what's up here..." he thought aloud, hoping Mako shared a similar curiosity, as he did not wish to be dragging his friend around. He had said he wished to explore, though, so it wasn't like Antos was forcing him to act.

The second staircase was easy to climb, leading to another hallway that resembled the second. Were these... more bedrooms? It wouldn't hurt to check, so he pulled the nearest door open, his eyes immediately widening at the sight. The first thing he noticed was not that the two other boys were there, but the tremendous amount of books that this room held. He let out an audible gasp, leaving poor Mako in the dust as he rushed to the shelves, immediately pulling out novels from their places. He did not recognize their authors, nor their names, but they looked so intriguing none the less. This room made the small collection in his own bedroom look petty. "Who's... Dose-toe-vesky?" he asked, slaughtering the pronunciation of Dostoevsky. However, the question was closed ended, as he immediately sank down into the nearest seat he could find and began to read.

Though he became a bit distracted with what exactly he was sitting on. Looking down, he found himself in some sort of large, circular, squishy pack of... what were those, beads? His body sunk into the strange chair, sliding along the leather. "Guys, you've got to try this out!" he called to his fellow aliens, leaping up from the item humans know to be a bean bag, casting his book aside.

After about an hour in the library and Mako doing nothing but opening books, flipping through dusty pages, then putting them back, they were called downstairs by the human Xavier. Relieved that he wouldn't have to give some excuse to Antos so that he could leave, Mako put the book he had just picked up back and looked at the other three in the room. August, Bosco, and Antos had looked up as well but Mako had his doubts that they would actually come to whatever lecture Xavier intended to give. "I'm gonna go down there, maybe he has something important to tell us." Whatever the reason, Makoto did not want to spend another second in the archaic library with the ancient computers. Who used such bizarre things anymore? Had earth not updated their systems to hologram projections?

Mako left, going down two flights of steps to get to the bottom floor. He spotted the girls in the living room, but only counted three heads. Where was Xena? Perhaps she was asleep? Shaking his head, Mako made his way over and plopped onto one of the leather recliners. It was huge and he felt like he was sinking into it. "What's going on ladies?" He asked, putting his hands behind his head and attempting to finally relax despite the fact that he had counted four cameras in the room. Oh wait, make that five.

Suddenly Mako spotted Moa's arm and his eyes widened. "Whoa, Moa what happened?" He clambered out of the seat and walked forward, kneeling down to examine the damage. It did not look good. Maybe this was why Xavier called them down? Oh no! Was he going to announce that Moa had to go back!?

"Your head is going to over heat if you keep over thinking that hard." A squeak came from beside him. Mako stood up and scratched the back of his head, "you're right. Hey Aika, do you know why we were all called down here?"

Kou had knocked on Xavier's door for what felt like hours until finally he swung it open with a look of indignation. "Moa's arm is broken!" His expression changed quickly and he instructed Kou to wait outside while he shut the door and disappeared into his room. A few minutes later the human emerged and told her to wait downstairs with the others.

Instead of going back down, Kou went to her room and changed out of her soggy clothing and then went to Moa's room to grab the other female a pair. She grabbed the first pair of pants and shirt that she could reach on the high shelves and ran downstairs, careful not to wrinkle the bundle. "I brought you some dry clothes," Kou said and placed them on the couch for when Moa was ready. "Xavier called someone I think, but he told me we should wait down here."

And wait they did, it was nearly an hour before anything happened and Kou's nerves were on edge. What if they had to take Moa back? What if they weren't going to let her return home? It didn't help that Mako came in and started asking questions that only seemed to confirm Kou's worst thoughts. She curled up into the corner of the couch, glad that Aika was here. Xena was nowhere to be found, but that was fine by her. That girl scared her with her mood swings and quite frankly, Kou couldn't handle that right now.

The only thing that broke the silence besides Mako's babbling was the occasional boom of thunder. Each one seemed to be louder then the last and after about the tenth one Kou couldn't take it any longer. "How is waiting around going to fix you!" She didn't mean to yell, but the girl believed that it was her fault that this had happened because Moa had come outside to rescue her when she had slipped in the wet grass. Abruptly, the door bell rang and Kou jumped. She had not expected that sound.

"I'll get it," Kou left quickly, her cheeks flushed red with embarrassment. She looked out the window to see one of the least governmently looking people she had ever seen. His hair was shaved in some sort of odd fashion statement dyed the brightest shade of yellow the salon offered. "Hello?" She opened the door a drop, wondering who this human was. Was he a friend of Xavier's? The one who was going to fix Moa?

Now this was a call. And here he had thought that he would be getting the next few days off after all that work he had put into the house. But sure enough, something got broken already. Job security, right? Aw, Manny didn't mind. He loved his job. This was a good chance to meet the kids that were to take up residence here. And may give him a good idea how long the house would stay in good condition.

Manny was a sight coming into the driveway. With all the other agents driving lovely black SUV's, Manny was driving a white work van with a battered box trailer behind it. He scanned his ID at the gate and they did a quick check of the trailer and van and let him through. After putting the van in park, he clipped his name badge to his clothes and zipped up his pastel blue jumpsuit. Put a pencil behind his ear and his ever handy screwdriver and channel locks in his back pocket. Always great things to have on hand. Getting out, he walked and opened the sidedoors of his van to get his toolbag before making his way to the front door.

Manny was humming to himself as he got to the doorstep and firmly pressed the doorbell. And he wasn't kept waiting as the door opened quick enough. What a cute little girl. Had to be one of them aliens. They sure didn't look so different from humans. Putting on his biggest grin, he greeted her, "Well hello there! I'm Agent Collins. Word has it that there is some fixin' to be doin', as I might say. Have I come to the right house?" He asked. He knew he had. But he was being friendly, and giving the girl some control over the situation that might make her feel more at ease.

"Well hello there! I'm Agent Collins. Word has it that there is some fixin' to be doin', as I might say. Have I come to the right house?" Slowly Kou nodded her head and stepped out of the way for him. He didn't look anything like the typical agent what with his wild hair and bright blue jumpsuit; he looked more like a handy man then anything. Kou was skeptical, but she did not say anything. "I'm Kou," She replied and led him to the living room. "Can you really fix her hand?"

She sat on the floor across from the others, watching intently. If he tried to hurt Moa, or tried to take her back with him Kou would not hesitate to bite. She put her thumbnail between her teeth, anticipating quietly for the moment that he would be finished. Across the room Mako was twiddling his thumb and checking his wrist as if he actually wore a watch, he wasn't particularly interested in mechanics and whatnot, but Xavier had told them all to come down to this room in order to meet the new agent so here he was, waiting to start a conversation with the others but they were all so quiet around the human.

Bosco, August, Antos, Aika, and Xena were gathered there as well although Xavier, their supposed guardian had yet to make an appearance since breakfast. Perhaps they should drag the agent out of his room and make him explain why had had called a meeting and then failed to show up himself?

Manny looked down and smiled at the girl, didn't look like she could hurt a fly. But of course he knew otherwise. With bag in hand, the older man followed her inside, setting it down on a small end table and looking around the home. Still intact, that was a good sign. He was half expecting this place to be wrecked. Manny gave her a chuckle when she asked him if she could fix Mao. "But of course I can! I can fix darn near everything. No need to worry yourself, young lady." He said to Kou and patted her lightly on the shoulder.

Moving over to his bag, he pulled out a few standard tools and pocketed them,"Alright dear, first I need to see what the problem is. Just a harmless little diagnostic. I was told that you got wet, if that is the case then this will be done in a matter of minutes. It being just a short, all I have to do is locate it and reinsulate it." He calmly told Mao, keeping a calm smile. Working with live wires always carried a thrill. Especially alien stuff. This was the kind of work he lived for. So he got to work, he had already looked over the wonderous schematics the agency had given him on her but thankfully this small of a fix was standard electrician work.

Bosco did not quite know what to make of this guy. He was another agent, and that immediately put him on alert. Sure, he sounded nice, and didn't seem like he was meaning any harm. But that was how these agents get to you. Still, Moa did needed help, this man was apparently qualified to do at least minor repairs. He didn't seem intimidated at all by the mech girl's inner workings. Bosco would still keep an eye on her though.

Bosco sighed, and looked out the window. The glass was still covered in droplets but it had stopped raining. Such strange weather here on earth. He sort of began to zone out as he gazed outside. To think he was just sitting here. Waiting to go home, but that goal felt like centuries away. Kou, August, Moa, Mako... His thoughts drifted from person to person, to home and earth and future and past.

He shook his head to try and get his mind away from that stuff. Thinking too much about those things would put him in a bad place. He needed to focus on the here and now. Surely it couldn't hurt to just forget everything for just one afternoon.
