Miyuki- āSheās so annoying! She thinks sheās so great and all that. Like sheās some kind of queen or something. I hate her big, stupid ego. And I might be stupid, but I know she doesnāt like me, either. So why should I like her back? She should just grow up!ā
Appearance: Ā
Haruhi is, much to her chagrin, quite remarkably small in stature, despite the fact that sheās fifteen years old. She tries to explain to others that itās completely genetic and that her older sister is short too, but most of the time it doesnāt save her from being teased. Sheās flat chested, something else about herself that she doesnāt like. She often doesnāt hold her head up straight when sheās standing idly. Her head hangs down a bit, and her bangs often partially shield her large brown eyes from view. She has a scar on her right shoulder from when a shard of glass cut her in the car crash that killed her mother. Her face is rather round and childish, and sheās often teased about her too-youthful appearance.
Preferred Clothing:
Haruhi isnāt a fan of flashy things, and she prefers to wear plain clothes mainly. Typically, she wears clothes that compliment her current hair color. Under no circumstances does she wear anything sleeveless, as sheās self-conscious about the scar on her shoulder. Even when she goes swimming, she wears a t-shirt and shorts instead of a swimsuit.Ā
Height: Ā
5' 0"
Weight: Ā
102
Hair Color:
Ā Naturally black, but it is currently dyed red.
Eye Color: Ā
Brown
Personality: Ā
Despite the ugly things she has to say about Miyuki, Haruhi is actually an extremely kind-hearted person. She tries her best to be nice to everyone and convince herself that everyone has some good in them. This makes her perceptive and helps her judge people better. She is very sensetive, as well. She has a soft spot for cute things and she cries easily. It doesnāt take much to fluster or embarrass her. Haruhi couldnāt harm a fly. Sheās strictly non-violent, as she believes that differences should be settled diplomatically so that no one has to get hurt. Haruhi prides herself on the fact that she always does the right thing. Well, maybe not always. Nobodyās perfect, after all.
Secondly, Haruhi is ratherā¦ dim. Sheās no good at her schoolwork and is always the last to get jokes. It often makes her the target of jokes herself, and that, despite her best efforts, gets to her, as she is a sensetive soul. Her being dim like this often makes her highly gullible. Sheāll believe almost anything. After all, she doesnāt trust her own knowledge and common sense, so she decides to trust other people.Ā
Haruhi is also very self-conscious. This is the reason why she keeps her scar hidden at all costs by wearing sleeves all the time. She knows that people blame her for their motherās death, and she canāt help but blame herself as well. Due to her height
Oddities: Ā
She dyes her hair a lot. Most of the time, it's red. Or sometimes purple. Maybe blue every once in a while. But she hates her naturally black hair. She thinks itās boring.

Skills/Talents: Ā
Haruhi has an uncanny ability to draw anything and make it look completely realistic. She thinks this is like compensation for her dimwittedness.Ā
Personal History: Ā
Haruhi was born the youngest of the four Yoshida girls. As a child, she was very shy, unwilling to try and make friend's with other kids. This caused her to be an outcast for the majority of her life among strangers. Because of her nature, she didn't dare fight for more attention in the household like Miyuki. She just let her older sister make a fool out of herself by being bratty most of the time, and took what she could get as far as attention. She didn't mind. Though she depended on them very much, Haruhi felt more comfortable staying out of her sisters' way, so as not to draw attention to herself. She hated being singled out.Ā
Then the day of the accident came. Haruhi had recently hurt her leg running from some boys who had been teasing her, but hadn't told anyone about the injury, so as not to put herself in the center of attention. So she uncharacteristically insisted that she be driven to school instead of being made to walk. She figured that making a tiny scene then would keep her out of the spotlight in the long run. After all, her sisters would've started asking her questions about why she was limping. She didn't want that. And so, Haruhi and her mother got in the car to drive her to school. They were almost there when a speeding couple in a large van (who were quite drunk) lost control and slammed right into the side of the car at a very high speed. Her mother was killed instantly. Haruhi suffered many injuries including broken bones and cuts and bruises and such. And of course, her scar.Ā
Nothing was really the same for a year afterwards. Everyone blamed her. Everyone hated her. Haruhi seriously considered suicide. After all, she wasn't wanted anymore. Why stay? Then, her oldest sister managed to convince the sisters that they needed each other, and her world slowly started to piece itself back together. But the scars, both emotional and physical, still remained. Haruhi knows that there's a certain rift between her and her sisters that will never fully heal, no matter how hard they try. She's come to accept it, though. At least her world is no longer completely broken. Partially whole is still much better than shattered.Ā
