Personality: Being a man who despises the confines of a house, Mitchell Monroe is accustomed to living outside. Whilst many of his friends spent their time gaming on their PlayStations and the Xboxes, Mitchell Monroe liked camping, chemistry and biology. He would gladly give up his home and his soft, warm bed for a tent and bedroll. Mitchell also knew that herbalism was a strange thing for him to like, and because of this, Mitchell was laughed at during his high school years for his increased fascination and dabbling in alchemy, and soon became the top student in Chemistry and Biology. But because he liked mixing plants, herbs and weeds, doesn't mean he liked how they tasted. He has an extreme disliking of the fruits Cherries and Blackberries, due to their sweetness and texture, and the vegetable Broccoli, due to his childhood hatred of it. He has always been known to be the household outcast, living alone with no family for many years. His habit of living alone did not mean that he didn't hold a steady reputation and life, being credited as his neighborhood's chemist, he had a home store of many alchemical ingredients and mixtures for different ailments, and gained the eye of many scientists, biologists and other alchemists for his work, writing two papers on alchemy during his time as a Chemistry Professor before his shop opening. His other favorite hobby is spending time with his girlfriend, Jeanette, who worked as an accountant before the 'Invasion'. He spent many nights with her, and soon grew to the point of a marriage proposal, but he never got that far due to his increased shyness and unwillingness to bring up the subject of marriage.

Historical Background/Past Life: Currently 30 years old, American-born Mitchell Monroe, hailing from Albany, New York, was never a man to sit inside all day, daydreaming about what life could have been life if he wasn't himself or wasting his life browsing the internet and especially not sitting in his bedroom all day, controller in-hand, playing his PlayStation or his Xbox whilst mindlessly staring at a TV Screen from dusk 'till dawn. He instead liked the open outdoors, the freedom, the smell of fresh air and a cool breeze hitting his cheeks, he loved it all. Nature especially inspired him, and he would sit upon his front porch, pencil and sketchbook in hand, drawing trees and plants and labeling them with fascinating facts about the species of the wildlife that thet were, he was a geek in a different context. Mitchell was never socially awkward, he was just shy due to his lonely childhood, and had a hard time making friends in school. He instead found refuge within his studies, finding a fascination in Science and Literacy. He excelled in those subjects, but lacked in Physical Education. Once he reached the time for his GCSEs, he passed them with flying colours, finding himself with a GCSE in Chemistry Science, General Science, Literacy, Mathematics and Modern Art. These would serve him well in the future, as he finished his University Studies with a Bachelor of Science degree. He soon returned to his University one year later after an unemployment struggle, and became a Professor of Chemistry. He taught at that University for two full years, before he left on good terms to discover new business ventures. These business ventures made him a herbalist, opening his own store from his home, creating remedies and mixes for ailments that couldn't be cured with antibiotics and medication. He became the 'Neighborhood Alchemist' and earned the respect of his neighbors. He soon moved out of his home and got a nice apartment in Brooklyn, where he closed his store due to the bustling city life and took up his work as a hobby instead, becoming an accountant to pay the bills. It was at that accountants that he met the love of his life, Jeanette Rigby. She worked as the Secretary for the accountants, and the two chatted over work many times. These chats flourished into coffee outings and nights over, but Mitchell refused to ever bring up the idea of marriage, due to his own feelings. He felt he was too good for her to marry, with her being a beautiful woman with a brilliant career and him being an grotesque man whose life consisted of Scientific Research. She once did ask him about marriage, but he quickly managed to change the subject, which she easily shrugged off and laughed at his insecurity. Knowing she didn't mind, he still didn't want to ask because of his thoughts of rejection, and that she would see him differently from what he truly was if he did it. Coupled with his fussiness about a ring, the thought dwindled and disappeared from his mind as did it from hers and they both became settled and happy with their boyfriend/girlfriend romance. Among his Scientific Hobbies, Mitchell also enjoyed his English Literature, and was able to sit down and read for hours on end without really realizing the time flying by, immersing himself in fantasy, sci-fi and brilliant fiction. He was a decent writer, publishing two Scientific Papers about his work and another on specific remedies for specific ailments, which got him a steady reputation at his University whilst he worked there.
