Introduction
Emilia Yurvoscov dated her boyfriend ever since they were in middle school. They both came up with the idea to create a band, and by the time they started high school they already did numerous shows and gained a lot of fans. Senior year just ended and summer had everyone excited about the state-wide battle of the bands. The winner receives a chance to be signed by a major label and to be famous. However, after a wild party, Emilia's boyfriend cheated on her. She didn't waste time crying, no instead she got an idea: she would leave the band and create one by herself and compete against her boyfriend in the battle of the bands at the end of the summer. She thinks that if she can beat him and her old band mates that it will show she doesn't need her ex anymore. He has another idea in mind, he wants to show that he wants her back through his music and aspires to win to prove he's serious. They both have their own reasons for wanting to win, but who has the better band?

Kary swam back towards Thalia, and came up out of the water, laughing at Julia. "I always beat you, hell i bet im even a better lead guitarist if i tried tried." Kary laughed, and then heard Thalia yell something. "Ahoy maties, looks like we've got trouble." Kary then looked aroundbut didnt notice anything. "Wh-" She was bout to ask where when she noticed Demetri, and as Thalia said him, and came over to her. "C'mon girl, lets go run him off the beach." "Hmm, let me use some of your leaking dye, i got an idea." Kary said as she ran her hand through Thalia's hair, getting her hand covered in dye, and walking over to Demetri. "Oh hey Demetri, how you doing, long time no see." Kary then walked behind him, rubbing her hand across his back. "So are you still going after Emilia?" She said, patting her hand on Demetri's ass, leaving a hand print on Demetri's swim shorts. "Well i got to go, bye Demetri, better be ready to lose." She then ran her hand through his hair and ran back over to Thalia, and washing her hand off in the sand. "Hey Thalia, doesnt your dye stain instantly on clothing?" Kary said while laughing. "Now get me, or should i say yourself a boogie board." Kary said, after taking Thalia's and running back into the water.

Thalia smirked, "that it does." She said, she saw Kary swim off with her favorite boogie board and decided she'd get her back for it later. She jogged back to Bruce and grabbed the three other boards out and stuck them in the sand, "Two left!" She called, grabbing her second favorite one, it was another black one but it had blue lightning strikes on it, and ran back out to the water.
"The waves are waaaay too small." She said, turning herself to face the ocean, "Yo Poseidon! Is this the best you got??!! I've seen better waves in my baaaathtub!!! Come on! Show us what you're made of!!!" She laughed, suddenly a chain of larger waves started coming, "well, I guess he heard me." Thalia muttered, "BRACE YOURSELVES, GIRLIES! THESE ARE GONNA BE BIG ONES!"
She turned to face the beach, and got ready for impact.

"Yay! The beach!" she said and smiled. She rushed to her car, got her bathing suit and went back inside. She rushed in the bathroom and changed into her bright pink bathing suit, she looked at herself in the mirror and frowned. "I look awful." she thought to herself. She tied her hair into a ponytail and looked at herself in the mirror again. "That didn't help..." she whispered, then sighed. "Oh well!" she said and walked out of the bathroom, her black flip-flops making a funny noise on the floor. "I'm ready!" she said.

Sam moaned audibly. "The beach. As in sun burns, annoying kids running around and-" He stopped himself, an epiphany hit him. "...Pretty girls in swimsuits..." By the time he stopped thinking about it, he realized both Dem and Ev were already gone out of the room. "Those two.." Running out to his moped to grab his swimsuit, he only just dodges to the side to avoid Ev running head long into him on the way in. He jumped into the bathroom, switching his boxers with his swim suit in seconds. Stepping out, he saw Evelyn in her swimsuit already.
Sam snickered under his breathe. "Pink? Really?" he asked, covering his mouth with his hand to avoid bursting out loud.

"I left my bright green one at home..." she said and laughed. "Now tell me, was I just dreaming or were you complaining about going to the beach?" she said, smiling because she couldn't help herself. "The beach is so much fun." she said, insisting a little on the so. "And anyways, it's hot outside, so... well, yeah." she continued.

"Psh," he muttered, putting his hands in his pockets. "Ya. Beaches when it's hot out. Great. Sand giving third degree burns on your feet, water is -somehow- either boiling or out of a freezer. And the kids." He shuddered. "God, I hate kids." Shrugging his shoulders, he noticed Demitri in his bathing suit off to the side. "Think the three of us are ready, Captain Eager."

"My apologizes! I just thought you'd like a break from the hassles of the guitar and studio the size of a prison cell!"
In all actuality, Demetri knew his friends were practically married to their instruments - as he himself was - but he needed the distraction and knew the two wouldn't argue with hitting the beach. Walking around to the driver's door, he hopped in and keyed the ignition. Smiling, he rolled down the window of the passenger door and motioned for the two to get in.
"Are y'all gonna stand there all day, in the hot sun, or are you gonna hop in and take advantage of the A.C.? Unfortunately, seeing as how there isn't three front seats, you two are going to have to fight for shotgun privileges."
Making sure his foot was on the brake, Demetri revved the engine, emphasizing his wish for the two to hurry up and get in.

Emilia laughed at her friends before realizing her skin was starting to burn. "I'll be right back!" She waved at her friends in the water before running back to the garage. Looking around she found her bag and saw that she had already used all of her suntan lotion. After a sigh of frustration leaving her lips, she turned back and grabbed her vespa keys. Emilia decided to go to a store close by and buy some. From the looks of it her friends were going to be a while on the beach. After a short ride she arrived at a store on the corner.
There were like a billion different lotions she could pick from, but nothing was strong enough. As Emilia scanned the wall a memory of her and Demetri's old band kept coming back into her mind. It was a day when they all decided to go to the beach. She had to admit it was a fun day, that was until the day after when he cheated. Finally she found what she was looking for and paid for it then left. She took her vespa back to the garage then ran back to the beach with her lotion. "There is lotion if you guys need any!" Shouting to her friends she started to put some lotion on.

Eelyn hopped in beside Demetri and laughed. "No way I was sitting in the back seat! Sorry Sam." she said, smiling again. "Common, slow poke, get in!" she said to Sam. She was impatient to get to the beach - she loved swimming, and even though she'd never admit it, she loved kids. From the noisiest ones to the quietest ones, she thought they were too cute to hate. She started humming her favorite song while she waited for Sam to get in the car.

Sam sighed as he opened up the shotgun door, ideas of revenge quickly going through his head. As soon as he shut the door, the most immature of annoyances to the front seat began. He put one foot up to the back of the shotgun seat and began tapping it over and over again, pushing ever so slightly. "Hit the gas before Pinky starts hopping up and down," he said, leaning back, closing his eyes, and continuing his merciless tapping. In truth, Sam liked Ev. He'd thought once or twice of asking her out, but with Demitri's big break up, he realized how much of a god slayer band mate break-ups can be. So, he did the next best thing and decided to try her like a brother. An annoying, seven year old brother. Not the smoothest moves, per say, but Sam wasn't the smoothest person.

"Saaaam!!!" Evelyn complained in the most annoying voice possible. "Seriously, how old are you?" she said, turning around to look at him. "You're sooo paying for this later." she said, smiling. She sat properly in the front seat again, and the elastic she'd put in her thick curly hair snapped. "Oh, man!" she thought to herself. She decided to let her hair loose, instead, since she didn't have any more elastics. She then tried to think about the best way to annoy Sam at the beach. Then, she had an idea: kids. She laughed, and realized she looked stupid, laughing about something she'd said in her head and that no one else knew about. She stopped laughing and played around with her hair.

Julia saw how much hotter it was getting, and she noticed the sun lotion that Emilia was holding up. Quickly she got out of the water and ran up on the beach. "Give me some you know I burn easily." She snatched the blue bottle away from her friends and began to put it on her arms and legs. "I think I'm going to chill with you babydoll." Smiling wisely, she pulled out her towel and laid it next to Emilia. Julia sprawled out over the towel on her stomach and turned to look at her friend.
"Is there something on your mind? Your not thinking about Demetri are you? You know you shouldn't be doing that to yourself." The girl tried talking to her friend. She didn't want Emilia to be thinking about Demetri anymore. She needed to be focused on her music, not her bad break up. Julia has never seen her friend cry so much in her life. It eerie how she went from depression to just not even wanting to think about Demetri. Sighing she rolled onto her back. "Just don't make any mistakes Babydoll."

Sam moaned irritably as Ev started laughing for no reason. Cracking an eye open, he mumbled, "Do you mind? Some of us do stuff at night, so they shirk off sleeping and have to catch a few Z's in their friends care." He tapped his foot on the headrest again, closing his eyes again before they shot right open again. "Dem, are we there yet?" he whined, getting impatient as the drive staggered onward.

"Sorry!" she said. "Hmm... wonder if Tommy's at the beach. If he is... Sam's in for it." she thought to herself. She remembered not to laugh this time. Luckily. She closed her eyes and smiled as she relaxed in her seat. The sun rays were hitting her skin through the window and it was pleasantly warm. "I really DO hope Tommy is there..." she thought to herself. Tommy was her little cousin. He had just turned four and he was the most annoying child on the whole planet, if that was even possible. Of course, Evelyn loved him anyway. But Tommy was just unstoppable. He never got tired, and, a good thing, he loved the beach. Which meant he would probably be there with his mom since it was so hot out. His short blond hair and his chocolate brown eyes might make him look like an angel, but in truth he was the childish reincarnation of the devil. And if this normally didn't please Evelyn, it was exactly what she needed in this situation. Though she liked Sam, and had for a long time, she sometimes thought he was the most immature of people. And this was one of those times. So she plotted her sweet, sweet revenge as she pretended to sleep.

Just a heads up, I'm going to the beach :)
I'll be leaving on Sunday (I'll try to post in the morning, but I'm afraid that's all I'll have time for. And I'll be coming back on Saturday.
Try not to go post crazy without me, that would make me sad, cause I have a bunch of other roleplays that I'll have to catch up on other than this one...
