Appearance: Elena stands at five feet and three inches tall, with an hour glass figure -- though she has a slim waste she is both top and bottom heavy; she weighs in at about 115 pounds. She has relatively long (reaching just past her shoulder blades), honey-brown hair that falls in soft waves. Her eyes are a bright green and are framed by thick lashes. Elena has full lips, easy to settle into a smirk, smile, or pout, and relatively soft features; this causes her to look a little more "girlish" than she would like. Luckily, the rest of her appearance as well as her demeanor keep many from mistaking her as much younger than she actually is.
Elena also has a single tattoo, located on her back.
Clothing:
Elena's clothes were fashioned herself from clothing she had collection while traveling the Wastes. She is outfitted in a purple (though rather lacking brilliance due to the environment) halter top that stops above her belly button and has a plunging neckline, as most halters are wont to have. She has black cargo pants, a relatively loose fit, though they appear more gray than black. Elena wears combat boots that are tightly fitted to keep from slipping or damaging her ankle as well as a thin, leather jacket. She wears no armor besides this, as she hopes to stay out of most hand-to-hand combat.

Personality:
Elena is generally friendly, not particularly out to harm or help anyone. She can be as willing to help someone as she can be unwilling -- it all depends on how she is treated and what is at stake. She tends to be quiet in unfamiliar areas or settings, but never lacks confidence in her ability to interact with others. She can be quite the go-getter when the situation calls for it, but she prefers to take a backseat in most of the action. She is most comfortable out of combat, where she can utilize her intelligence and perception to diffuse situations or get goals accomplished. Though she dislikes it, Elena is skilled with ranged weapons -- her bread and butter being her sniper rifle. The constant care she provides to her weapon would allude that she enjoys combat, or at least her gun, but Elena simply realizes that without proper care, her sniper would be likely to breakdown in a combat situation.
When it comes to interacting with other individuals, Elena is always eager for intelligent conversation and enjoys witty humor and banter. Though she remains friendly in most conversations, this should not imply that her aims are always good -- Elena is quite skilled in oral manipulation and often uses this tactic to achieve her goals. Elena is also a horrible flirt -- though she craves conversation, she will usually break the ice with a well placed smirk accompanied by a mischievous wink, followed by any number of suggestive comments. Elena does, however, have a soft sport for children and interacts with them quite differently than she would any other individual -- Elena refuses to use children to forward her goals. She can be equally kind and equally ruthless to both sexes, though she distrust men more than women initially; the Wastes and do that to a girl. She finds some women to be relatively insufferable, however, when they take on a defeatist attitude due to their sex and will avoid extended contact with them.

History:
She is unsure where she comes from originally, or where her parents come from. What she remembers is being part of a small moving community. The village would remain in an area for a while, until raids began and their frequency increased, or some other circumstance drove them away. They would attempt to find abandoned homes, underground structures, or baron areas that would lend natural defense from outsiders and the natural world. She remembers when her brothers were introduced to the family formally, though she fails to remember their actual parents. She remembers a few raids, she remembers the mutant animals skittering about, and she remembers the horrors of lack of resources.
When the chance arose, her parents took her and her brothers and they moved into a more permanent, albeit small, settlement. Things were quiet for a while and this allowed Elena to begin focusing on things other than learning how to survive. She found a knack for influencing others with her words, along with a skill in fixing broken things. She remembers little about her early days in the settlement, probably due to the fact that very little happened, but she remembers when the settlement began to grow. Little by little, more people ventured in and hoped to find a home. Rent began to rise, resources began to dwindle, and soon the entire cost of living was getting to expensive for their large family. It was not too long after that Elena's two brothers, Angel and Marcel, decided to leave the small settlement and head to a larger town -- where they would be able to find steady jobs and send money back to those who had cared for them after their parents had been killed. They sent letters and money when they could afford to, the small bit of change allowing Elena and her parents to live relatively comfortably with only the three of them. Shortly after, however, the letters stopped.
Her parents assumed that one of two things had happened to Angel and Marcel -- either they had found their own lives and were now too busy supporting their own families or they had died in some sort of horrible accident, perhaps a raid. Elena doubted either of these, those she feared the latter. Elena formulated a story -- that her brothers had been kidnapped or roped into some sort of trick and were now missing. It was soon after crafting this story that Elena decided it would be her responsibility to find her brothers; though her parents attempted to quell the young girl and accept a more reasonable fate for her kin. At eighteen years of age, Elena bid farewell to her parents -- explaining that she, too, would be heading towards the larger city to find a job and send them money. They accepted this, in due time, and blessed her travels. What they did not know, however, is that Elena is still looking for her brothers, whom she never resigned to death.
