Lucifer Jefferson's Story

"Remember...you're mine..."
Lucifer heard Ash scream, kicking the demon off his neck making him disappear. He ran into the Room. "Let go of her Shax! He screamed. Shax smiled at Lucifer, as he set your down. "I'm stronger than you Lucifer, you can't beat me. Shax said as he slowly made his way to lucifer. Once he got to lucifer he sped behind him pushing him to his knees. Lucifer had enough of all this, he twisted his body kicking Shax straight up in the jaw, he stumbled back, catching himself shax was delivered with another blow to the face by lucifer. Lucifer was no messing around now, he meant for him to never come back ever! Lucifer quickly peered at ash he saw she was blacking out. Lucifer must hurry, he quickly punched Shax again, only this time Sax caught his arm and twisted it backwards. Lucifer screamed in pain, Lucifer kicked shaxs arm away with his right foot.

One arm if done, but the others fine. Lucifer kicked him in the knee making him kneel. Lucifer walked over and kneed him in the jaw making Shax fly back into the wall hitting the ground. Shax laughed "You're strong my boy but i will still win." Lucifer looked at him and screamed, while running towards him with a fist "This ends now!!!!!!!!!! Once he was done with the sentence Lucifer hit Shax so hard he flew out the door, and crashed into a nearby fountain that was right outside this place. Lucifer slowly walked out, only to run and kick Shax in to stomach, making the breath be kicked out of him. Lucifer smiled, he than said to Shax "I can either let you live or i can kill you right now, which shall it be?" Lucifer said as he held his broken arm. Shax tried throwing a punch, but lucifer stopped him. "Death? Well, alright.

Lucifer then gave him one last kick and 2 punches to every part of SHax's body and he was done, for sure he thought. No, he didn't think he knew. He rushed back inside to see Ash. He kneeled before her, laying her down lucifer check for a pulse he couldn't find one. "Damn! Going to have to do mouth to mouth, sorry about this ash. He quickly tilted her head back pushing on her chest 5 times, than holding her nose and breathing into her. He check again, nothing. He did this several times, Than on his last go he heard a slight cough come from Ash. He sighed in relief. He sat her up, before going to get the first aid kit. Once he had the first aid kit, he fixed up the wound on her neck. He truly felt bad, this was her first day here and he screwed up and got her hurt.

Ash coughed, and blinked her eyes open slowly. Her vision was going in and out, but she was able to tell that Lucifer was holding her, and he was cleaning the cut on her neck. She felt incredibly weak, but she knew she had to stay strong. "What about you?" She whispered, unable to completely get a sound out. Her eyes barely focused on Lucifer's face, but she moved her eyes concernedly over him. "You're hurt, you need--" She coughed again, jerking in his arms. "You need a doctor." She didn't even want to know where Shax was, and what Lucifer had done to him. She just hoped that it was over, and he wasn't going to bother them anymore.

"Th-thank you...you saved my life." She said, smiling softly. Who knew her first day in a foreign universe would be like this?

He looked at her with caring eye's. "Shh, you need to rest. Your the one who needs a doctor, Yes i am hurt but you need more attention than i. You almost died. He said as he put bandae on the cut for now. He picked her up. [i][color=red]"Come one were going to the local doctor. He said heading out the door, he walked right past Shax. He began to run to the doctor, knowing she needed it fast. Its about a mile down the path from where they were. As he ran in the darkness he kept thinking to himself that it was all his fault he is the one who took her through there. He hated that he had done that but now matters are worse, hopefully the doctors still open. It should be, he said to himself under his breath.

Once the reached the doctor it was still open, thank god. He walked through the door and yelled for help from whomever could help them at this time. The nurse at the front desk called for their best doctor. Once he arrived she was rushed to a room. Once in the room, the doctor said to give him about an hour and she should be fine. He headed out to the waiting room. Lucifer sat in a chair putting his elbows on his knee's he put his hands in his face letting the hair go down. He was so angry yet, upset with himself. how could he be so stupid. But he had to wait an hour to see her again, he went to the vending machine and got a snake and a drink. He opened the energy bar, and the water. Sure, he was hungry but he wanted to get her something as well he went back to the vending machine and got her the same thing as well. But lucifer didn't open them that would be rude.

As he waited he got tired. I's been a long day and things happened that he didn't think could happen in such a short time, it was unbelievable. He just wanted to sleep, but needed to know if Ash was alright. He sat back in his chair and looked around the room, there was only 3 people in here including him. A man and a his wife. Than a man sitting alone in a corner looking at a book. He closed his eye's and thought about today and what happened. He thought about what he could have done different today. But he can't change the past you can only help guide you future.

"Shh, you need to rest. You're the one who needs a doctor. Yes, I am hurt, but you need more attention than I. You almost died. Ash let herself be lifted by Lucifer. She looked at him through her lashes, feeling her limbs get heavy. "You--" She coughed, "You need help, too." He carried her and began to run to the doctor, and she let her head rest against his shoulder. The movement of the fast pace caused her stomach to roll, but she held it in knowing it probably wouldn't be appreciated for her to hurl all over him.

Once they arrived, Lucifer yelled out and Ash opened her eyes slightly, her lids becoming increasingly heavy with each breath. Lucifer brought her into a room and laid her down on the bed, but before he could leave Ash grabbed his hand, "Take care of yourself. Please." she asked, before he left and she was alone with the doctor. The doctor plugged her into the IV and checked her vitals. It was very much like a human doctor's office. "So, you say it was a demon attack?" The doctor asked, writing something down on his clipboard. "Yes." Ash nodded. The doctor pursed his lips and put his hand against her neck, examining the marks and also checking her pulse. "Your pulse is rather slow, do you feel weak? Lethargic?" The doctor asked her, and she swallowed before nodding weakly. "I can barely move." She says as she blinks slowly. "Well, you lost all of your blood, so that is to be expected. Not to mention you have a concussion. You're probably going to be feeling pretty horrible for the next few days. I'd say for you to stay the night tonight and we can see how your doing tomorrow. You're very lucky to be alive, Ashlynn Pierce." He smiled at her and she shrugged, but she fought to keep her eyes open wide enough. "Wait, please, can you check Lucifer? He fought hard with Shax--the demon--and I think he's injured badly." The doctor nodded and with that, the doctor left Ash alone in the room with her thoughts and the steady beeping of the machine.

The doctor went outside to the waiting room and spotted Lucifer. He waved him over and spoke in hushed tones. "Well, she's miraculously lucky to be alive, but I think she'll be fine. You can go back and see her if you want. Although, she asked me to check on your injuries. Would you like me to take a look?"

He stood up and walked over with his and Ash's water, and her little snack. He nodded at what the doctor said."I would really appreciate you looking, just to be safe. I'll be waiting in Ash's room for you." He said walking to her room. He wanted to see her and see if she wanted anything. Once he reached the room, he looked inside there she lay alone in a room. He walked in knocking on the door so she knew he was here.

He pulled a chair near the bed and placed the drink and snack on the side table. He looked at her feeling horrible about what he put her through. Seeing the doctor come in he stood. "I'm here to check on your wounds mister lucifer. Lucifer nodded, and sat down on his chair. As the doctor examined him the doctor noticed he had a deep cut under is belly button. He noted that he'd need a few stitches there. He then looked in his hand and neck area. Nothing seemed wrong except for a scar across the right eye from him hitting something or getting punched.

Once the doctor was done he took lucifer into a separate room and patched him up, he was back with Ash in a mere 20 minutes.He smiled when he came in, the doctor lended him a coat that made him look as if he worked here. [i]"How you feeling?He asked ash.

Ash fluttered her eyes as Lucifer came back in the room and smiled as he set se things down on the table next to her. Then the doctor started to check him out. She drowned concernedly as Lucifer left but he came back rather quickly. He asked her how she was feeling and she smiled in response, reaching over and grabbing the drink he brought her. "Eh, I'm okay. What about you? Did he hurt you badly? What did the doctor say?" her rambling ended with her coughing and as she pulled her hand away, she found some blood on her hand but not wanting to worry Lucifer, she closes we hand in a fist to hide it from him.

"I never asked...what happened to Shax?" she asked nervously. She knew Lucifer would have been in a rage after seeing what had happened, but a part of her hoped he didn't kill Shax. No matter how evil, she would never wish death upon anyone.

He looked down trying to remember. Well, i may have killed him or, he will just be knocked out for maybe a week or 2. Not sure, honestly. Oh, the doctor just had to fix up my scar. Needed a few stitches but we are good, now. He said, looking up at her, seeing she had her hand in a fist he stared at it. "May i see your hand Ash? The one in the fist? He said pointing to it. He thinks she may be hiding something. "If you must stay here tonight would you like me to stay? he asked her, looking straight into her eye's

The doctor knocked on the door. He gave her a sign saying he'd be right back. He got up and walked outside of the room. Once he was out there, he looked up and saw Shax. Coming near, he looked at the doctor and he said "Your friend here said he needed to notify you of something. He stared at the doc, like what are you think! Urg fine...But he ust looked at Shax as he became closer and now was in his face. He said "You got me good lucifer, but im fine. I'm not going to be bothering you anymore, i can't take it. Getting all the injures and blah blah blah! So good bye! He screamed loud enough for Ash to hear. Lucifer just nodded and Shax was taken away to be cared for.

He walked in the room speechless and wide eyed he was shocked, how could he even walk? I mean i thought i broke his leg. He sat down in his chair, and just stared at the ground, then slowly looked up at ash. Giving her a bright smile getting away from his shockness and now he's just very happy.

Ash looked away as he asked to see her closed fist. Sighing, she held out her hand, showing the blood on her palm. "Don't freak out okay? It's not a big deal, I'm sure I'm fine." She looked at him earnestly. And then he asked her if she wanted him to stay. "Yes, please stay. I can't...I really don't want to be alone."

She looked up as Lucifer left and suddenly she heard the all too familiar voice of Shax. "...all the injuries and blah blah blah! So goodbye!" Did that mean he was gone for good? Ash hoped so. As Lucifer came back in he smiled big and she returned it equally. She was so glad they were finally free!

"Yes, please stay. I can't...I really don't want to be alone."
Lucifer smiled at her, knowing things were going to brighten up. He nodded as a sign he'd stay the night with her. So he asked the nurse that comes in once in awhile for a pillow and blanket. Lucifer also notified her of Ash's hand. How when she couched blood came out. The nurse nodded, she came back with a pillow and blanket she then went to tell the doctor about Ashlynn's condition. Once the nurse got to him, she tapped on his shoulder, he turned and she said "Your patient Ashlynn, she's coughing blood sir. she said to him. The doctor took that note on his board on her paper. He nodded and said "I'll check on her once i'm done with Shax here. The nurse nodded and came back to the room.

Once she arrived she said the doctor would be in shortly. "Thank you. Very much appreciate it." Lucifer said as she left the room. He looked at the TV up in the corner of the room. He walked over to turn it on. He came back with the remote which was laying under it on the table. He then sat down, he handed her the remote. He noticed when he gave her the remote her hands were very soft, he smiled after giving that to her. He grabbed his pillow and placed it behind him so his back was comfortable. He leaned to grab his water and drank most of it, there was about 3 or 5 swigs of water left in there. It would depend how you drink sips or huge gulps. He laughed at the thought of him just sitting there chugging down water.

The doctor came in and stood on the right side of the bed closest near the TV. He said to them. "I was told you were coughing blood Miss Pierce? He said looking directly into her eye's, he then looked at his note board, making sure he was correct. Which he was, he pulled up a wheeled stool and slide over to were he was standing, taking her hand seeing the dry blood.

Ash rolled her eyes when Lucifer told the nurse what happened. "I told you it's no big--" she was interrupted by another cough, "deal. No big deal." She smiled endearingly though as she watched Lucifer get comfortable. He handed her the remote and she almost wanted to grab his hand with hers, keeping it close.

"Are the channels and shows the same here as they would be on Earth?" She asked, flipping through channels and seeing nothing familiar. It was then that the doctor came in and sat next to her. "I hear you're coughing up blood, miss Pierce?" She held out her hand as the doctor looked at the dried blood there, and shook her head. "Like I told Lucifer, I'm sure it's--" a cough shook her again, and she put her hand to her mouth so she wouldn't disgust people, "it's no big--" an another cough, this one seemed to shake her more than the others. "No big deal! Just a frog in my throat or something." she said the sentence fast, so as not to get interrupted by another cough and gently scratched the wound on her neck, as the gauze was starting to itch her skin.

The doctor watched what her body did as she coughed. She shacked he noted it down. "Miss Pierce this is serious. But i know the cure. Give me a few minutes and i'll be back with the treatment. There are some channels you may like or know from earth. They are on channel 1432 through 1500. Excuse me. He got up and pushed in the stole, and left. Lucifer looked as he left, he rubbed his face, today was tough. Hopefully tomorrow would be better he told himself. He peered over at Ash. [i]Y'know" He said Your pretty tough from what you went through today. He said as he repositioned himself in his seat.

He put his hands over his face, he gave him comfort though he didn't know why. Anyway, the doctor went into a room which many shot. He went into the back room. He grabbed a special one just for this kind of problem. He grabbed everything he needed. Closed and locked the door he just came out and and proceeded to the other door, which he entered. Once out he headed back to their room. Once there he went over to Ashlynn and said. "This shot will make you loopy and you'll fall asleep for at least 5 hours. But it cures the problem while you sleep because it prevents you from coughing until the shot cures the hole in your throat. Once you awake you'll need a drink and something healthy to eat which will be prepared and ready for you. Would you like to tell lucifer anything before i give you the shot?. He then picked up the tools to make her skin numb in the part where he gives her the shot. Then prepared the shot, but waited for her to answer.

"Y'know, you're pretty tough from what you went through today." Ash smiled as the doctor left to get the shot. "Hey, don't give me too much credit. You did save my life and all." She joked, flipping through the channels till she came to the one the doctor told her about. "Ooh, I love this show!" She exclaimed as her favorite show, How I Met Your Mother, came on. Looking to Lucifer, she saw he had his face covered. "Hey, you okay? You've had a pretty stressful day, too. Get some rest."

She laughed as one of the people made a famous sarcastic comment and glanced at Lucifer, knowing he wouldn't be able to understand, so she attempted to define it. "Okay, so the whole premise about this is that this one guy--see this one here--is telling his kids how he met their mother, but we have no idea which one of them is their actual mother, and they're going through like his entire life story and it's hilarious." She got that sentence out fast and began to cough again as the doctor came in. "This shot will make you loopy and you'll fall asleep for at least 5 hours. But it cures the problem while you sleep because it prevents you from coughing until the shot cures the hole in your throat. Ash always hated shots, so she winced as she felt the pinch. The world got hazy, and then it got super focused, like she could see every little substance inside the room.

The doctor turned to Lucifer, "It'll take a bit for the sedative part of the medicine to take action, so she'll be like this for a small amount of time. Come fetch me if you need anything." The doctor bowed his head and then exited the room, leavng Ash alone with Lucifer.

Ash laughed as she watched a speck of dust float onto Lucifer's hair. "Hey, you know what, Lucifer? Today was actually kind of fun. You know, besides almost dying and all that. But when we talked in my room, that was super fun. I like learning things about you. This place isn't bad at all with you around." She yawned, a huge jaw-cracking one that had her shaking her head afterwards. Her eyelides drooped. "Hey, can you come over here? I like being close to you, and you're too far away." Her eyelids drooped again, and she could barely keep them open now. She curled up next to Lucifer ((OOC: Just assuming you complied lol)) and rested her head on his shoulder, yawning and letting her eyes drift completely shut. "Yeah, it's not so bad, especially 'cause you're here...yeah..." She trailed off as the medication took its hold on her and she fell into a deep sleep.

He smiled as she cuddled next to him. When she drifted off he looked at the doctor and he nodded leaving the room, when the doctor left, he looked down at Ash. Smiling he said "Ash, i don't know if you can hear while you're out cold, but if you can i just wanted to say ever since--He yawned--Since you came here you turned my life around and i'm glad you are here. He yawned one last time and drifted off to sleep. As he fell asleep he saw a dark figure enter the room, Lucifer tried to stay awake to see whom it was but couldn't. He tried fighting his tiredness but it overtook, him. He just hoped it was the nurse or the doctor.

Lucifer had a dream, which he woke at the hospital and Ash was gone, he screamed her name trying to get up off his chair only to look down and see he was chained to it. One of his weaknesses. He tried with all his strength to get free, making the chair fall to it's side, he heard a scream. It was fate but he knew it was Ashlynn. He was furious and broke out of the chair that moment. Picking himself off the floor, he rushed out the door, only to hear the scream again. He ran towards it as fast as he could carry his legs. Getting to the scream was difficult. He encountered demons along his way only fighting them off only getting hurt a few times. Once he got to Ash, he looked past her seeing Shax smiling. He ran towards him punching him so hard he went though the floor and on to the lower level under them. As he had time he helped Ash, down and to safety. Once Shax came back he kicked him and punched him this time he meant to kill him. But shax was very powerful this time. Lucifer was knocked to the floor not once but 10 times. He was hurt badly. He mounted himself, looking up at Shax who was now hovering over him with a fist read to punch. He got in the the face by shax 7 total times before he was thrown at the wall. Everything around him was a blur right now. He say a shadowy figure coming towards time which he knew was shax, only to be awaken by he doctor and 2 other nurses by him. he must have been screaming in his sleep, because he had an IV in his arm and people standing over him once he awoke. He looked up confused. "Wh-what happened? He asked but his voice was low he touched his neck only to pull back his hand and find blood. His eye's widened, "WHAT HAPPENED?!? He said with fear in his voice, he was freaking out, the doctor told the nurses to hold him down and they did so he could give him a shot to calm him down. He screamed for them to let him go.

Ash was supposed to be out cold, but for some reason the medication must have been wearing off or something because she was fading in and out of consciousness. The world around her faded in and out and she groaned. Picking her head up off of Lucifer just barely, she saw a figure coming closer. She couldn't tell who it was, and she couldn't seem to speak either. The figure laughed, before coming close and Ash was finally able to tell who it was.

She tried to scream as Shax lifted her off the bed, but all she could manage to do was whimper. "The prince was stupid to believe I would just let you go. After all, you are mine." She rocked in Shax's arms as he ran down the hall and out of the hospital. She just barely managed to get out, "Lucifer..." She whimpered again as the cut on her neck started to sting. Shax laughed above her. "He won't be coming to rescue you anytime soon. I put him out of commission for a good bit of time." Ash felt tears fall to the ground below as Shax carried her into a dark tunnel. He had hurt Lucifer and now he had kidnapped her. She prayed that Lucifer was alright and Shax hadn't done anything too serious.

Soon, he set her down on the cold ground and she looked up at him weakly. Shax smiled and leaned down, running his left hand down her face and body. His right hand brushed over the bandage that covered her injury and he grinned before ripping it off, making Ash let out a breathless scream as it tore off some of the skin there. His fingers lightly traced the injury before he pierced it with his nail, making her cry out. Whatever medication the doctor had given her prevented her from moving, which Shax seemed to enjoy a good amount. Shax licked her blood from his fingertips and made a happy noise. "Mm, little human you taste delicious." He pressed his lips to the wound and drank more, making her whimper again. Then he stopped, and Ash looked at him with horrified eyes. "Oh don't worry, I'm not done with you yet." He laughed before standing and walking a bit into the darkness, watching her with hungry eyes.



In the hospital, the doctor gave Lucifer the small sedative as the nurses calmed him down. He cleaned the injury on his neck before answering him. "I'm sorry, but it looks as if someone came in and attacked you, followed by taking Miss Pierce with them. We've checked the rooms, and it looks like the only patient missing is Shax." The doctor braced himself for what he knew was to come and gave the nurses a look that said be ready to hold him down again. Who knew what his reaction would be when he found out the person who had out them in the hospital in the first place was the one who had just kidnapped the human in his care? Surely it wasn't a good one. "You can't leave yet. You might tear your stitches and Shax drained too much from you for you to be any use in rescuing Miss Pierce. Well find her later, but right now you need to rest."

He wouldn't stay there another night! "Like hell i will! He kicked everyone off of him, and rain out of that hospital, making the IV rip out of his right arm. He felt pain rush up his arm, holding the cut, he pushed the doors open and ran outside. It was dawn, he knew where they were. He ran as fast as he could reaching the dark tunnel. He took a deep breath and ran through. Only to find Shax hovering over Ash, he crept over in silence once he got close enough he ran into Shax knocking him over falling himself. Making a piece of the stitches come loose. He sprung to his feet, turned and got socked in the face by Shax. Falling to the ground once again. Shao=rp pain went up his left arm, He was dizzy but slowly got up.

"You monster! I- I won't let you take her! He said as he arose from the ground, he felt as though someone was coming from behind, but shax was in front of him he quickly moved making the one who was coming stumble right into Shax. He yet again had the same feeling this time moved back while ducking, making the one jumping from a tree hit the ground making his leg have a sharp pain. He had 2 others with him. He growled. "Only the weak need help from others to save the one's they care for!" Lucifer coughed as he stood up straight.He moved to one side of Ash, facing Shax and the 2 demons. He put his hands into a fist and got ready to fight.

Shax laughed "Ha! Please i can beat you alone i just don't want to get hurt any further than i already am...Your a fool to come back." Shax cracked his neck, and his 2 demons cracked their knuckles. One demon laughed as he saw Lucifer get into a fighting stance in the condition he was in now. There was no way the demon thought he was going to win. The other demon just stared in disgust at lucifer. Shax whispered something tot he one on his right. As Shax stood up the one he whispered flashed and appeared in front of Lucifer in the blink of an eye Lucifer gasps in surprise, only to find himself flying to the ground from an upper cut. Making 3 stitches come up-done, He touches his jaw with his hand rubbing it. That stung, but he got up and ran towards the one who had done that and kicked him straight in the stomach and uppercutted him in the jaw. Making the demon fall to the ground.

That demon got up but disappeared, Lucifer quickly checked his surroundings, no one. Where is he? Lucifer thought, Than suddenly he had the feeling to move, he stepped back 2 feet only to see in front of him someone come from above, he caught himself from falling.The demon had been in the tree above him, the demon hit the ground so hard that pieces flew up, lucifer covered his eye's from the pieces of rock. Lucifer almost got hit again, but dodged as he put his arm down. The demon was right in font of him lucifer quickly stepped back and gasped. He kneed the demon in his private parts, making him fall to the floor, while he was on the floor lucifer kicked him in the stomach and on the head. Making him unconscious, and disappear with a puff, seeing he's no where around he walked back in front of Ash. Asking her if she was alright he peered behind him "You okay ash? He asked than looked at Shax ready for his next move.

Shax gave Lucifer a smile, of respect. "Your strong when your upset. But your weak though, you're just not showing it... He looked at his other demon and nodded. The demon slowly walked and disappeared with no word, he looked up, nothing to the sides, nothing...He wondered where he could have gone, than suddenly felt the ground shake, right under him and ash as well. He gasped and quickly picked up ash and moved, away. Setting her down he saw the ground which Ash was laying and he was standing break apart, blocking ash from the rocks he stood. Facing Shax, and that demon. He rushed up entering the puff of drown dust. Punching a demon to hit and break a rock above shax. Shax looked up and merely just moved a foot or 2 to his right. Letting the pile of his demon and rocks hit the ground. As the dust cleared Lucifer stood there tall and glared at Shax His demons were done. He was the only one left.

Shax smiled at Lucifer. "Didn't think you'd make it this far. But i'll take care of you dieing and keeping her for my self." Shax said as he pointing to me than to Ash, Lucifer growled "Over my dead lifeless body shax!After He had said that the doctor and a nurse appeared though the darkness and was screaming Lucifer's name. He told the doctor to get Ash out of here and tend to her. He'd be fine he told them. As the doctor left, shax smiled at Lucifer, and began to rush him. Lucifer punched through the air when Shax got close enough. Shax got punched straight dab in the nose. Lucifer than Elbowed him while Shax leaned forward holding his nose. He fell to the ground and made dust fly from under him. He than kicked him over. Thinking this is to easy, that it came to him "Your a clone... A voice cam from behind before knocking Lucifer to the ground. "Aw, how'd you know Lucifer... Shax said as he punched Lucifer tot he the ground. As Lucifer turned over he looked at shax, and smiled. Getting up he punched him in the stomach but he didn't flinch or anything. Lucifer got grabbed by the neck getting lifted being chocked. He could feel the stitches coming apart. He felt the blood running down his neck.Lucifer quickly kneed him right in the nuts, and he dropped Lucifer, and kneeled. Luscier quickly Knead Shax in the mouth after coughing up blood. He smiled, and kicked SHax again, and again. Getting on the ground on top of Shax holding down his arms, he head butted him right on his head. Which made Lucifer dizzy but he didn't show it. Lifting on hand up he punched SHax as hard as he could Making his nose break. He punched him continuously, until his knuckles were bloody. He got up from him and kicked him the the side. He waited a minute. He didn't move, nor breath.

He smiled. knowing he was gone this time. For good. He slowly made his way back to the hospital. Entering the door, everyone looked over. Seeing a bloody lucifer standing there smiling, he fell to the ground as soon as he entered the building. As he fell he saw people rush towards him, he is still conscious. Being lifted onto a bed being wheeled into surgery. He smiled the whole way there, but everything blacked out once he saw the big light in the room.

After only a short few minutes of watching her, Shax came back and say beside Ash. She whimpered as he stroked her cheek and her hair, drifting down so his hand ran up and down her torso and abdomen. "You really are very pretty...it's just too bad I'll have to kill you." And then suddenly with no warning, Shax plunged his teeth into her neck and drained her as if his life depended on it. Ash screamed from the pain, but Shax held her down.

"You monster! I won't let you take her!" There was a yell from the entrance to the tunnel and Shax detached himself from her neck to look at the source. Ash weakly rolled her head to the side and saw Lucifer standing there. She tried to smile, but the energy had been sapped from her and all she could do was stare on at the action before her.

Two other demons came and attacked Lucifer. She tried to yell a warning to him but no sound escaped her lips. Lucifer fought well, but it was obvious to her at least that he was injured badly and tiring. He ran to her and lifted her up. She tried to tel him to stop and to just run but again she couldn't make a sound, she was just too weak. He yelled to doctor to take her and she reached out her hand, but he was already gone. No! she wanted to scream. You'll get killed! But the doctor carried her away before she could even blink.

Back at the hospital, she was quickly rushed to her room and placed on three IVs. Her cuts and bites were bandaged and she was given a serum that the doctor wouldn't tell her about, but that Lucifer would be grateful she had taken. Suddenly, there was yelling and the doctor raced from the room. A whir of nurses came by and the doctor came in. "Lucifer has arrived. He's headed into surgery now." Ash craned her neck, beginning to sit up slowly and painfully. "I have to see him." The doctor rushed and pushed her back down but she fought against his hand. "No! You have...to let me...see him." She fought against the doctor until finally he agreed to help her up.

The doctor held her up by her left wrist and right elbow, keeping his arm around her to help with her balance. She weakly moved to the room that Lucifer was being kept in with major help from the doctor until finally they reached his room. By the time she had gotten there they had finished surgery and he was resting under anesthetic. He was severely beaten and he had several stitches on him. The doctor opened the door and helped her inside. She stumbled over to the bed and dropped to her knees next to him. Cradling his right hand against her cheek, she began to cry softly. "I'm so sorry...this is all my fault..I'm so sorry..."

Lucifer slowly moved his left hand over on top of Ash's hand. Opening his eye's slightly he gave a fate smile. "It's not your fault Ash... He said a little more than a whisper.He turned his hand towards her, as he moved his left hand touching her face. "All th-that matters is your Sa-- He paused to cough "--Safety, thats all that m-mattered. He said smiling again. Turning his head back towards the ceiling he shut his eye's for a minute. Opening them again. he looked at Ash in the corner of his eye, he noticed she was crying. "Ash, please don't cry. He lifted his left arm and used his thumb to wipe away the tears. He put down his arm, and sighed. The doctor appeared at the door. "Ashlynn, it's time for you to go to your room unless you want us to bring your's in here, or his to your's. It's your choice. He leaned against the rim of the doorway. Looking at Ash, to Lucifer. Lucifer looked over to Ash, slowly opening his eye's. He coughed a bit, then he said "Do whatever you w-want Ash. I'll be okay either way.." He closed his eyes than opened them. He knew he was extremely weak. If Shaz came back he couldn't get to her in time. He felt a tear go down his face at the thought of it.

The doctor looked at us both, thinking and well knowing that they went through a lot today. It's already 2:30 am. He thought it was later but he check his clock. He didn't have any others to care for at the moment. He was glad he helped these to right away if he hadn't one of them may not have been here at this moment. He saw lucifer clasp the bed and stood up straight. "Lucifer are you alright? He said looking at him. "I'm fine, just a pain thats all. It's nothing. He said trying to look at him but failed. Lucifer sighed, he was tired of laying but he had to get better. He had to stay at this place for 1 more day but Ash could left today. At 5:00am, but Lucifer and the doctor knew she would stay. The doctor nodded at lucifer. "Alright, if it's more than i pain i'd need to know.

She looked up with glistening eyes as Lucifer awoke and brushed her tears away. She shook her head at him, "No, you should have left me. I should never have let h take me, or let him hurt you." The doctor came in and told her to go to her room but she shook her head adamantly. "No. I'm not leaving him." She squeezed his hand but frowned when he started to cough, just as she had.

"Wait, Lucifer, it could be serious." She turned to doctor, "Please check him for the same coughing thing that I had." The doctor nodded and walked away to get his clipboard. Ash turned back to Lucifer ad gave him a watery smile. "Don't worry, I'm going to make sure they take care of you."

He smiled at her, knowing she would. It was never her fault he got her this bad. He was the one who put himself in danger to protect her. He didn't care how hurt he got. He coughed slightly as the doctor came back in. He told Lucifer to open his mouth which he did, He shined a light inside, seeing how the back of his throat was a bit Bloody. The doctor shook his head, "I'll be back with the shot. he said leaving the room. Notting his clip board, once he got to the room he got the shot. While heading back, he thought about how a mess Ashlynn would be if he died. He promised himself he wouldn't let him die.

Once the doctor got back to the room, he sat next to Lucifer. He asked him if he'd like to say anything to Ashlynn before he was in deep sleep for about 5 hours. It would be 7 am when he awakes. Lucifer slowly turned his head to Ash. "Ash, i want you to know. No matter what happens i want you to follow your heart and do what you please. Don't let anyone mess with you if i die. As he drifted off he said three final words before falling asleep and they were "I love you.... The meds. Took over once he had said that he lay there smiling in his sleep.

Ash shook her head and gripped Lucifer's hand tighter. "Not gonna happen. You're not gonna die." Ash started to cry again as the doctor stuck him with the syringe, and then her breath halted at Lucifer's words. "I love you..." She gasped and smiled happily, leaning forward to kiss his head as he fell asleep. "I love you, too." She watched him fall asleep with a smile on his face, and she kneeled back down, leaning her head on his hand.

"Alright, Miss Pierce, your turn." The doctor said, standing up. Ash looked at him and shook her head. "I told you. I'm not leaving him." She said adamantly and the doctor sighed. "Fine, but I still need to check your wounds and considering you lost over 70% of your blood supply, you need another IV." The doctor walked over and without letting Ash argue, picked her up and dragged her to the chair against the wall. Ash frowned and glared at him as he bent down to check the wounds on her neck. "Does this hurt?" He asked, pressing the wounds on her neck lightly. She hissed and jerked in pain. "I'll take that as a yes. You'll need antibiotics, since it looks to be infected." He stood and looked at her eyes as well as her throat. "Your throat looks better, although there is still some irritation. Your eyes are heavily dilated though..." The doctor frowned. "What's wrong?" Ash asked, although to be honest she didn't really care. All she cared about was if Lucifer was alright.

"Well, my theory is that when Shax was...drinking...from you, and Lucifer interrupted, Shax released some of a sort of venom...persay, into your bloodstream. Not all demons possess this sort of venom, just the ones that have killed by drinking the blood from others. It'll take a series of shots to get it out of your system, but we caught it early so you should be alright." The doctor said and Ash nodded. "Alright, good. And let's not tell Lucifer. The reason he's in this mess is because he was worried about me and I don't want to stress him out any more." The doctor sighed and shook his head, muttering something about secrets coming back to bite you. When he entered again he brought an IV and a syringe. "I'm warning you. This will hurt." He said after he secured the IV and prepared the antivenom shot. Ash sighed and looked away. The doctor kneeled down and positioned the syringe by the injury in her neck, around the caroted artery. He injected the needle and Ash gasped and squeezed the arm chairs as the antibiotic was released into her body. The doctor stood up and threw away the syringe.

"Alright. I'll come back around 7 to administer the second dose." Ash nodded and the doctor left. Holding her throbbing neck, she stumbled back over to Lucifer and kneeled down by his bed again, grasping his hand in hers. She sighed and laid her head down on his arm, closing her eyes and letting exhaustion take over.
