What if nothing in your life was real? What if those T.V shows you watched day after day, were closer to reality than you could ever had assumed? Yes, even that bit where the guy got hit in the face with the pie and that stupid fake audience laugh played.

Yes, my friends, your life is a lie. It's not too bad, I guess. You realized this rather early on, as only having any memory of your childhood in flash back form while narrating particularly embarrassing or funny times. People admire your every move and find you hilarious! You probably have a generic loving family and beautiful partner. Lets face it, you probably know a crazily stereotypical gay guy, black guy, Jewish guy or all three. But racism doesn't really affect you in your perfect, picturesque world as it doesn't exist. Everything is perfect.

One day that perfect world you once lived in started to turn black. The colour was dragged out of it and the people slowly grinding to a halt. You couldn't fathom for the life of you what had happened, why everyone had stopped and why your world was grey. Then it hit you.

You were taken off air.
You weren't funny anymore and your show was killed.

Even though every time you fall over or sit on a whoop-ie cushion you still have the comforting, mind curling laughter of a studio audience, you can't help but feel as a piece of you was lost. You were a reject.

But then came another thought. How long until you stopped too? Of course you were the main character but soon no-one would remember you and as soon as no-one would remember you, what happens? There's a higher power who could turn you back at the flick of a switch and this person is the only obvious way to live in on.
