He hadn't donned all of his armor when Ethan came and retrieved him, so he had a bit more maneuverability in the streets. He hoped Ethan was close behind.
When he realized what had happened, Ethan had run down a street down to his left. Jazz probably knew her way back to the Palace, but Ethan had the advantage of knowing the city a hell of a lot better then the cooped up princess.
Not to mention, one of Ethanās best features, something heād discovered in his training, was his speed and agility.
