- People who stare incessantly
- Being alone in dark places
- People who are generally shifty
Stacey is really emotional. It's quite easy to read her because she wears her heart on her sleeve. She won't try to hide her emotions (it's really too hard for her anyway), and is really a kid at heart. She doesn't take rejection easily, yet tries time and again to be accepted. She's quite pitiful in that sense, and it's hard not to like her. Despite that, she's quite insightful, and can read others easily as well.
Stacey is very sweet, and tries her best for the people around her. She's kind to everyone, and has a soft spot for animals. She doesn't really act her age, more like a innocent little child, the kind that saves worms from drowning in puddles. Show her a little kindness, and she'll be there when you need help. Right now, she's a little paranoid because she just went through a breakup with her boyfriend (see History), so she's apt to cry easily (well, easier than usual, anyway).

Stacey grew up with a loving mother, Cecilia, and an older sister, Cara. She never knew her father, as he walked out on her mother when she was pregnant with Stacey. Her mother was often away at work, but tried hard to spend time with her daughters and make them feel loved. Being the younger child, she received slightly more attention from her mother than Cara did. Cara wasn't pleased. She would bully Stacey into doing her chores when their mother wasn't looking, and made Stacey's life miserable. When she sought refuge from her mother, however, her mother refused to believe that Cara was mean to Stacey as Cara was an angel around their mother.
As a result, Stacey grew up thinking that serving others was only right, and that she should do whatever others wanted. She was pushed around by the kids at her kindergarten and middle school, and yet she desperately tried to seek acceptance again and again, with the result that people only either bullied her or pitied her.
However, when she entered high school, Stacey had learned enough from her experience to resist, even if only a little bit. Still, it was enough to deter would-be bullies that sensed someone weaker than them. Luckily for Stacey, she found a friend in Peyton Dash, who then introduced her to the other girls. Stacey was thrilled, overjoyed to finally have people who she could call friends.
Shortly after Stacey became friends with Peyton, one of the hottest boys her class (and someone who she liked to talk about to Peyton), Stanley, started going out with her. At this point, Stacey was practically over the moon. However, she recently discovered that Stanley had asked her out only on a dare. Moreover, he wasn't even sorry that he had done it, simply casting her aside after adding her as another mark to 'Girls Who Have Fallen For Stanley Winslow'. Stacey was devastated as he was the first who had actually asked her out. Though she tried to pull herself together, sometimes she just dissolves into tears at the mention of Stanley.
