"Death is a somber goodbye on the lips of a dream,
Loved ones doth cry and let out a scream,
In the heart of the sorrow, guides a saddened young male,
Who's own pains and grieves have driven him pale,
Death is his name and he leads a parade of souls,
Looking for someone to plug his heart's holes,
He deals with the anguish while ever so homly,
Looking for someone to rid him of feeling lonely."
Death was particularly a poet of the dark persuasion. He wasn't mad, just full of sorrowing experiences. "That poem was particularly bad." He droned in his head. As Lucifer left, Death put gloves on and moved toward his hearse/horse. "If you get the call, I'll get the call. Until then, I'll be in the meadow south of here about twenty miles. I want to hear the birds sing." He said, monotoned by his element -death. You see, the shimmering bands were not part of his complection, but part of the life cycle. He was the ferry man. Every death brought a shimmer to his human form's skin. And very shimmer brought saddening screams and prayers to that particular soul. "See you soon: Famine, War, Conquest."

Conquest puts the keys in the ignition and starts the car. Everyone flinches when hard rock starts blaring, accompanied by Conquest's singing. War groans and covers his ears. "Turn off that damned garbage!" he shouts over the music, but Conquest ignores him and begins to scream/sing to Breaking Benjamin, waiting for Famine.

He bounced in the odd vehicle as it went over several holes in the road. 'The Sound of Silence' by Simon and Garfunkel was playing in it. and the vision that was planted in my brain, still remains... Within the sound of silence... it played on and Death sighed. "All of this business is driving me crazy. We are the four horsemen of the apocalypse. We are the order and equality between heaven and hell, not Lucifer's henchmen. Why do we have the job of hunting down his son. Let's see." He said taking out his phone. "Star, Six, Seven, Eight, Nine, Four...." He droned on as he pressed the keys on his cell. The tone rang thrice and was followed by a click. "Hello, you've reached Michael. I'm not hear right now. Leave your name and number or don't expect me to call back." click
Death was fond of that Archangel... Michael. He just didn't know if he'd been shunned by him, having worked with the devil occationally.

The silence continues until War decides to speak up. "Well," he begins. "I only have one thing to say: Famine and Death sitting in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G." He begins laughing uproariously and sings the song over and over again as Conquest joins in. Picking on Famine just seemed to easy, seeing as she was the only female of the group.

After a few minutes of silence War spoke up. "Well," he begins. "I only have one thing to say: Famine and Death sitting in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G." He begins laughing uproariously and sings the song over and over again as Conquest joins in. Famine blushed. "You guys are so...." she caughed "Immature." Then she reched over to War and pinched him really hard in the arm. "I will personly cut off your manhood if you ever sing that again." she looked over to Conquest. "And yours to."

Death arrived at a blank field in the forrest -the meadow he'd told Famine about. He layed down in the grass and looked up at the sky, his gray eyes shimmering in the sunlight. The bird's chirped and flocked away from him -the essence of death. He sighed and turned to a flower. "Why do I have this gift, curse, whatever it is? It's not like I asked to kill anything I touch." He pulled off his glove and touched the flower slightly. nothing happened and Death smiled. "That's right," he said, "I only kill in my horseman form. Thank-" He stopped himself short. Was that even the right expression any more? Death had often thought himself light even though he was in cohoarts with Lucifer. He didn't mindlessly kill things or destroy. He was simply a ferryman. His job was a ferryman -even now. He was to escourt the grandson of the devil to the devil. It was what Lucifer would do to him that was evil.

She jumped over to soup and literally sucked it all up in a matter of seconds. She looked up at Conquest, Gumbo on her face, and smiled. "Ummm...sorry."

As Conquest continues to lecture Famine, War sneaks off to the guest room and opens the dresser. He digs under some clothes and finds two books: the Bible (Psh! Like he's read that garbage. . .) and a scrapbook. He takes out the scrapbook and shuts the dresser. He opens the book and starts reading though some things. Pictures throughout the ages lies scattered over each page, each with a map, and notes on the map along with arrows and X's and O's. "There!" he says happily as he points to a strategy from Germany, circa 1939. "Blitzkrieg. I almost forgot about you." He smiles as he shuts the book on Adolf Hitler's face and returns the book back to its original location. "That bastard's gonna pay," he quips with a smirk.
