Veronique has the terrifying ability to peak into anyone's dreams, see their aspirations for the future, understand their fears, and create their worst nightmares; to the person being attacked, it will seem to them as if its coming true, as if that is reality. For example, if someone were terrified of spiders, she could infiltrate their senses and make them think that they were being covered in spiders, when in reality nothing was happening to them. The gift she has in itself isn't the greatest of gifts, because she has yet to actually do anything "good" with it; if she were to 'create' a good waking dream for someone, she would eventually have to tear it away from them, thus causing them heartache or disappointment. Not that she'd ever really have any intentions of doing "good" things with her gifts. The downfall to her ability is that she's only been able to make it work on one person at a time. She's tried to do it on more than one, but she just wears herself down too quickly, or looses concentration. When she's using her power, she also is quite vulnerable to attack - in order for her to create someone's worst nightmare or the like, she needs to be in a sort of resting state herself, which leaves her open for attack. Once her concentration is broken, the images she's conjured up start to fall away, thread by thread, until they're completely gone. It does not take her that long to replenish herself though, before she's ready to attack again; those same rules still apply, though.
::Personality::
In plain speaking, Veronique is a bitch. Shes out for herself in life, and doesn't care who's toes she steps on to get where she wants to be. She will fake being your best friend because she feels like it, or it will help her in the end... She will be the "observer", while actually being the person who has created whatever drama she's created, just because she finds pleasure in arguments. She has a quick tongue, and loves pointing out the flaws in others. She's self-centered, as almost everyone can see, rude to people she doesn't like, and cold. She likes to distance herself from others, find the "weakest links" in a group, and determine who is afraid of what in case she would ever have to use it against them. She's a bit sadistic in that sense... She's also relatively sarcastic, and not a fan of work (besides work involved with acting). She's not completely bad in qualities though - she does have a genuinely nice side, but it hardly ever comes out. If you were to see her in a nice state, one that wasn't fabricated for her own gain, you'd be a lucky person. Though, there is no specific reason for her to be nice; she isn't sure what triggers it either. She is also someone who will fight for her beliefs and not just roll over. And while she doesn't like work, when she has to, she will work with meaning. She's "dumb like a fox" - which basically means she will play the dumb card if she can gain the upper hand from it and fool others - very observant, devious, and cunning. She does follow orders well, especially when its from someone she actually respects. And she is a very strong willed girl...
::History::
Veronique was born to two relatively well off French lawyers, who were both surprised to have a child; they were both old to be new parents. But they were normal in every aspect of the word, and couldn't quite come to grasp the idea that their daughter wasn't. Her parents, along with herself, first became of her powers when she was in her first years of school; she had been able to conjure the image of a new door on the wall of the family homes, before that image disappeared. And it wasn't long before things began to develop with her abilities; soon she was creating full out dreams for people, during the daylight hours, when the people who were "dreaming" were still awake. Only they could see their "dreams" of course, so many people thought they were going insane. Veronique wasn't using this ability for good; she would rather create a nightmare and watch the target of said nightmare freak out than create a happy "dream" for someone. And so, as she was in what would be her 7th grade year, her parents decided to leave France and move to Los Angeles - right next to Beverly Hills - to rid themselves of anyone who might have the slightest idea of what their daughter was. She began auditioning for roles in various acting jobs. Her parents convinced her to stay under the radar with her abilities, though she didn't stop using them completely. She did find them great to use to cause other girls who auditioned for parts she wanted to simply have... strange panic attacks. That wasn't beyond her. She has yet to get any major roles, though she has had some small features on a few movies and some television shows.

Veronique has a French accent still, as she never fully lost it after her family moved to the United States from France when she was younger. Sometimes, she gets really uptight about it, though most of her directors have said that they love the accent because it adds to her "character" - this, of course, only inflates her ego even more.
