[ Alexander is an odd fellow, of awkward proportions that one would assume look natural, yet to him feel out of place.
To start, his face is rounded out, with a slightly visible cheek line. It gives him a slightly childish appearance to his face, even though he isn't even a teenager anymore. His eyes are a soft blue with a hint of green that are always hidden behind his glasses, which are thick enough to give him the nerdish look, yet aren't so bad that they could survive a nuclear explosion. Next comes his odd little ears, which are slightly pointed at the tips and curved somewhat short so that they are smaller than one would expect. Normally his hair covers them, but there are days when it doesn't, and many people have pointed out that he looks like an adorable baby elf or something: well, they did before many of them got the 'cure'. Anyway, the most prominent feature on his face are the two moles that are right below his left eye. Some have said that it is a gang tattoo, others question him if he is crying: regardless, it is something that he has always lived with, and doesn't know what else to say about them.
Next comes his hair, which is about as standard as you can get. This was actually chosen by Xander himself, because it raised less awareness of his actual status when it came to being 'cured'. The less people that thought he was odd because his hair was a different style than the rest of the scientists, the better. Regardless, it is a dark brown, almost to the point of black. The cut is a little bit above the eyes, slightly around the ears and down the back of his head: like a standard cut from any old barber, just what he wanted.
His body is the last thing of his physical description, which as stated above is an odd proportional mix that he doesn't entirely enjoy and finds highly uncoordinated. In reality, he is perfectly symmetrical - like in arm and leg length - and is pretty average in terms of actual arm and leg length. His muscle tone is a little on the weak side due to his dislike for exercise, but he does force himself to go work out sometimes so that his lifestyle doesn't catch up on him and cause him to gain weight - something he actually fears. Nevertheless, he does have good hand-eye coordination and dexterity, and is able to juggle quite well because of it. He is also ambidextrous, which is a plus. However, on numerous occasions he has been called the King of Clumsy, for his ability to understand where his feet are is just simply nonexistent. ]

Firearms || While Xander had always had interests in being a scientist, his parents wanted him to at least be protective of himself and had pushed for him to become a police officer. While that didn't work out, Xander took a severe liking to firearms, especially pistols, and still has a not entirely legal collection of firearms in his personal quarters at home. He knows precisely how each gun works, how to take it apart, and how to fire them effectively. Just don't ask him to fight anybody, or else he would useless.
â Chemistry || The underlying spark within Xander throughout his life had always been for science: he had always loved chemistry and biology, how the body reacted to foreign substances and how medicines were created. While he did get away from that when his parents thought him better as a weapons man, he got back on track and is now close to reaching the senior scientist level, which would grant him access to the scientists who work on the 'cure' and other high caliber medications needed. His hopes? Find an anti-cure to one day shut the whole thing down.
â Hand-Eye Coordination || Since Xander wasn't the greatest at making friends, he found other ways to pass the time as a kid - one of them being juggling. Because of this, he gained serious hand-eye coordination skills, and is now able to grab most things out of the air, throw things with precision, etc.

- â Intelligence || As with any blooming scientist, Xander has a high caliber of intelligence. He isn't belittling, as he feels that all people are intelligent in some way or another. However, that doesn't stop him from not knowing that he is pretty good at what he does.
â Problem Solving || It comes with the field of science, chemistry and research: Xander can solve multi-layered problems with confidence and successfully evaluate the best course of action when it comes to his problems (for example, he is fantastic at finding escape routes if he needs to run away).
â Juggling || Something he picked up as a kid, Xander can juggle up to 5 objects at once. He would rather only juggle three items, as it is the most simplistic, but he has done 5 before.

- â Falling || Xander is quite a klutz when it comes to his ability to walk. Perhaps it is because he is normally found at a desk doing research, or perhaps it is because he is absolutely horrible at sports. Nevertheless, he cannot move very fast on his feet without falling or stumbling.
â Adjusting || Xander knows the proper placement for numerous things, and can't help but readjust them to make sure they are correctly placed. This leads to his room being tidy and his things straight.
â Juggling || Xander will constantly throw objects around him into the air and either catch them or attempt to juggle them if bored or waiting for something. Not the safest habit, but better than others.

- áĻ Science! || From the beginning, Xander has always been amazed at science. He has always wanted to see how far the world can be pushed in various directions, from biology to physics to chemistry. His hopes, though secret, are to one day find the true science behind love and maybe find an antidote for the 'cure'
áĻ Family || Xander adores his family to no end, be they his personal relatives or his cousin
áĻ Solitude || It isn't that Xander doesn't like people: there are quite a few that he is fond of *cough Astrid cough* but he just doesn't trust them enough to let them in.

- â Confrontation || Xander is submissive, let's get this out of the way. Sure, he can shoot you with the precision of a needle, but he will always bend to the will of others if they demand it from him. He hates himself for it, but he doesn't see himself as a person that would hold up well in a fight - this sort of leads to his dislike of...
â Combat || Contrary to his firearm skills, Xander is horrible in combat. He cannot fight to save his life, and is horrible in all forms of melee combat. No wonder he would rather run.
â The Cure || The cure is the reason for all of these problems, as far as Xander is concerned. It is the reason why they can't mesh in with the others, the reason why a certain someone will never return his little crush. Hopefully he will be able to bring about an antidote, but then again with his luck, he'll get caught before he does...

- ⯠Timid/Lack of Confidence || Xander isn't one to go out and speak to people: he isn't outspoken, doesn't try to get himself heard even when his ideas could be genius. Instead, he keeps to himself and tries to avoid people, because he has no idea how to really interact with them without freaking out internally. Call it social anxiety, and that would probably be close to the right answer. Xander lacks a lot of confidence, really: he may have intelligence and some serious gone toting skills, but he doesn't think that is enough to keep him alive. He has seen too many Invalids get 'cleansed' by the people of the cure, which has caused him to truly question whether or not he will survive in a world that hates him. Hence his reason for fleeing confrontation or any serious fights, rather than actually fighting: then again, he has multiple escapes routes planned at all times.
⯠Untrusting || Because of his status as an invalid, Xander rarely trusts anybody with any information about himself unless it deals with his work as a scientist, or his name. Everything else Xander keeps to himself, and doesn't let anybody else know. Hard to make friends this way, no?
⯠Naive || How can one with so much brain power be so dense? Well, it's not that hard: there are many things that simply go straight over Xander's head: be they melee combat, the mechanics of a car, the meaning of sarcasm and innuendos. Lots of things go over his head.
