This tight knit group of friends have faced everything together since they were children. They just never thought they'd have to face death. A fatal car crash took the life of three friends, causing the rest of the group to mourn and try to stay together. They decide to spread their ashes the one place they'd always said they'd visit together; [insert place name here]. They never expected that after doing so they'd be transported to a world in which the first people who great them are their recently deceased friends, who have no recollection of who they are. ▌[/right][/color][justify][font=arial][size=85]To say the supernatural community isn’t a problem would be a lie. It would [i]also[/i] be a lie to say that regular ‘ol human society isn’t a problem either. Sometimes you just have to pick and choose your battles.

When the creatures of the night (vampires, shape shifters, faeries, you get the point) came into the light of day ten years ago, the world had never been in such a fuss. There was talk of eliminating all of them, talk of forcing them back under their fictional folklore cover. There was also talk of them becoming the gods to rule us all. Though, most ignored those fanatics. Instead, society learned to deal, mostly under the human fear that they would start a war and slaughter us all. There’s still a ton of discrimination and segregation. Supernaturals are free to live in any city they want, free to enroll their children in any regular human school, you name it. But who wants to live in a mainly human oriented area when they either fear you or hate you?

The supernatural community built their own towns, or populated places until the humans packed up and left. A lot of the bigger main cities like New York, Rome, Japan, etc., are pretty evenly divided between species.  But that’s about as much intermingling you get.

Unless, of course, you run into those humans who have a huge fascination with these supernatural communities, either being fanatics or historians. You usually find those guys trying to integrate themselves into mainly supernatural towns, befriending the mix specied folk who live there.

▌[/right][/color][justify][font=arial][size=85]Our story begins in a small town by the name of Cold Spring, located just forty minutes away from New York City. The town was nicknamed Wolfsbane by outsiders and locals alike due to the poisonous plant that is heavily flowered in the area.

A young person, very much interested in the lives of supernatural creatures, moved to the town in hopes of integrating themselves into the society and learning more about them, despite the pleads from their best friend not to. Six months later, they turn up dead, and their best friend takes it upon themselves to figure out who in the town killed them.

This best friend isn’t unprepared, however. They just happen to be a private supernatural bounty hunter. It isn’t glamourous by any means, but it gets the bills paid. They don’t care too much about the comings and goings of either the human or supernatural community, technically belonging to both (or as some might put, rejected by both.) She just takes on jobs to drag bad supernaturals to whoever wants them. No regular human could do this, so it’s a good thing she’s not. Half demon and half human by birth, she’s very much an outcast, yet one with the peculiar ability to read minds, something that is something only high demons have been known to do. It works very well with humans. They’re an open book. It’s a little more difficult to get past the walls of some supernaturals, but isn’t impossible. Should be easy enough to find her friends killer.

Or so she thought.

On the day she arrives to Wolfsbane and asks to see her friend’s corpse, but it turns out it’s nowhere to be found, having been taken from the scene of the crime within minutes. They have no idea of where they could be, until they stroll right through the fucking door. Yeah, no one saw that coming. Turns out that mysterious someone who stole the corpse turned them into a bloody vampire, and now not only do they have to figure out [i]who[/i] killed them with the help of some “friendly locals”, but who turned them and blocked all their memories.

This should be fun.

Its balance has always been kept intact by the unity of the six courts and their respective lords; the Court of Summer and ruler fire, the Court of Autumn and ruler of air, the Court of Winter and ruler of water, the Court of Spring and ruler of all earthly elements, The court of Day the ruler of light, and the Court of Night and ruler of the darkness. Their lords are seemingly chosen by divine intervention, born with the elemental power that represents their court. At birth, they are all taken with their family to the court of Highlake. This place is located on it's own little island, commonly known as The Pure Terrain. It is neutral territory, not claimed by any court. Without these lord's presence, Navyn would crumble into chaos.

Seven years since the lords of the Summer, Autumn, Spring, and Day Court went missing one day after going for a walk around Highlake. No one knows what happened, no bodies were found, not even a single hair. Without them to keep the balance, Navyn was cursed with eternal winter and night. Crops struggle to grow and families have gone cold. The courts have fallen, overtaken by those whose main goal is to do anything but good. The people and the world of Navyn are dying.

The Winter and Night Lord, mysteriously untouched by whoever took the others, have been under lock down in the Pure Terrain at Highlake ever since their comrades went missing. Even if they wanted to leave, to help their respective courts, the priests and priestesses (a group of people with limited magical powers sworn to protect Navyn and the Lords) collectively put up safety wards around the small isle strong, refusing to let them do so. Their lives are too important. If they die, there will truly be nothing left.

So for seven years, they have lived reluctantly isolated from most of their world, surrounded by only those important officials and the family they have at Highlake, praying for their home to once again thrive. But maybe it can.

On the day the lords went missing, a group of priests and priestesses who call themselves "The Saviors" pooled their small individual powers together to strengthen them, and  casted these four off to another world; Earth. There the four lords lived their lives powerless, with no memories of the past, given false memories, and given to families who have also been given untrue memories that leads them to believe they are actually their children and family. These saviours think Navyn has become too tainted, that the elementals who run their world and settle the balance are too powerful. They believe that only the preist and priestesses, those who hold "true magic", can be the saviours this world needs to cleanse it pure.

They never expected them to come back, so you could imagine their shock when on the seventh anniversary of the day they went missing, they literally washed up ashore like a bunch of wet fish.

On Earth, these four had garnered an unbreakable friendship even though they had no memories of their true upbringings. As friends do, they went on a little summertime trip to a private lake they had stumbled upon when taking a wrong turn down a dirt road. They decided to camp out there for one night before continuing on their road trip. Unfortunately as two were splashing in the lake, a sudden wave took them under, and the other two went to rescue them. They all came back up eventually, but it wasn't on earth, it was in Navyn.

After a day or two, memories of the past start to become clearer, and their powers start to come back slowly but surely. With the natural balance of Navyn beginning to restore,
the six Lords and their allies must find out who casted the four off in the first place, and they must save their Courts from the evil that has taken them over.[/justify][/font][/size]

These characters can range anywhere from a priest or a priestess (apart of the saviors group or not), family members of one of the lords if approved, adversaries from one of the courts, or even a friend/family member to the lost lords from the regular world who accidentally got transported in the water along with them. I have a bunch of ideas on additional characters, so if you'd like a role or second character, please don't be afraid to ask or reserve one! [/size][/justify]

Also keep your posts around 3+ paragraphs. 1000 word posts are great, but the roleplay might be easier to reply to and quicker for others if posts are kept around 500-700ish words especially as the story progresses on.
