" Sir.... Sir " the Lady of the tavern said as she knocked lightly on the door " Its morning.... Time.... for your breakfast "
" I'm up " Zeno stated " Thank you for the wake up " he said kindly " I'll be down in a moment "
" O...Okay... " she said before she quickly when down the stairs
It took Zeno a Couple of minutes before head headed down the stairs. Once down he sat at the table in the corner closest to the door. The young lady was quick with his food " Thankyou " Zeno said with a slight smile. The ladymof the tavern blushed and walked away.
She passed The Hobbit and the Hearth and saw that the patrons inside were having breakfast. Her stomach gave a loud rumble and she recalled that she hadn't eaten at all that night. She looked at Sabriel and he gave her a wide eyed look of hunger. She heaved a sigh and stepped into the tavern.
"Hullo," she said giving the Lady of tavern a wave.
"Oh hello Lorelei, and hello Sabriel." the Lady said giving the wolf a scratch behind the ears. "You two must be hungry."
"Why yes, but I haven't been to market yet. Would you trade for a meal. How about a pheasant?" Lorelei said holding the dead bird by it's feet.
"I think that'll be a fair trade. You'll want an omelette with fried potatoes and bread and for Sabriel a nice meaty pig leg, yes?" The Lady said politely.
"You're right as always, Sybil" Lorelei said cheerily.
Lorelei sat her game bag in another chair and propped her feet upon the table. It felt so good to finally just sit. She caught the eye of another patron eating his breakfast and gave him a cheery smile. He seemed a bit intimidating and was obviously a newcomer.
"I could just kill you. However, you aren't worth punishment" she said and passed him, walking toward The Hobbit and the Harth - her favorite food place in all of Urini. She walked in and said hello to the Lady of the tavern. She might as well have been a second mother from how much she came here. "Hey! How is the tavern doing? I guess it must still be good, considering it was yesterday, and the day before that and you have the best food.... er.. sorry.... Can I have eggs and bread?" she asked, biting her lip. She was a rambler when she saw someone she thought a friend of her's-she didn't really have many-she knew that. She was working on it.
She looked around for someone she knew, her eyes darting around until they landed on a girl who sold things in the city- she didn't really know her, but it was hard not to really know who she was because one of the children- a girl by the name of Yevette- of the family she sometimes stayed with (she didn't believe in staying in any one place for long, though Urini had been her home for a while, she still jumped from home to home) liked to know everything about everyone in the city- realistically impossible, but she was good at finding out a lot- and relay it back to her. Good a time as any to talk to a new person.
She walked over and sat at a table next to her's, then turned in the chair. "Hello. Lorelei, right? One of my friends daughter's knows you. I figured it would be an okay time to talk to someone I hadn't yet met" She smiled and her wings fluttered behind her quickly- most people thought it was a symbol of excitement, but it was only some excitement, most of it was nervousness- she wasn't very good at talking to others without seeming like she was completely crazy, or wanted to fight. Introductions she could do. Much past that though.
