Introduction

"Winds whip through the Autumn Forest, detaching brightly colored foliage from their high homes. Propelling them through the air in intricate patterns and dances, leaving the stragglers behind to sink down into the forest carpet of orange and gold. The forest is endless to the eye, dotted with clearings and striped with creeks, but if you ever travel far enough in one direction... you'll find the crystal wall. A wall of multicolored translucent stones, luminescent and ever changing tone. They emit a glow that travels through out the whole grove. These walls make up the enigmatic caves system where all the Lost Worlds are kept. They are connected through dark tunnels, hidden amongst the worlds. Beyond Autumn Forrest is the Hanging Gardens, beyond that lies the city of Ur, and still farther is Tartarus. Atlantis and the Valley of the Kings, El Dorado and Dracula's castle, Never Never Land and Hade's palace. The demons live beyond the walls of Dis the angels guard the entrance to Eden. These worlds exist together, yet separate. They have no knowledge of one another."

Welcome to Lore'ella! Cave City of Lost Worlds. Where our dream lands and nightmares exist and are inhabited by magical beings. But as of late, war has broken out. Not between the different Lost Worlds, rather between the Queen of Lore'ella and her ex-love. As a result, the worlds are suffering. Plagues and famine are affecting even the most fertile cultures, while in others strange shadowy creatures are rising up to cause havoc.

You all have been transported here across time and space, from all ages and cultures, dimensions and planets. The Queen, Lilith, needs your aide in saving the Lost Worlds. As you begin you are completely unaware of this political situation. You and others will appear in Autumn Forest, where you will meet you guide. Before you can even meet the Queen, you must adventure through several worlds to reach her castle.

YOUR CHARACTER!

You may have 1-2. I would recommend starting with one and then adding another as you go along (e.g. you meet some one in one of the worlds who joins the group)
You can be anything. I would like you to avoid any alien that are from a super advanced society. And also if you are a human, you must be a specific kind of human. EG: An Aztec, Nazi, Eskimo, Pharaoh ect... Not just Bob the bagger from stop and shop. (Though that could be pretty funny) You will need some kind of superpower or weapon. And all ages work (a wide range would be nice)
Again, just nothing super advanced, kay?

PLOT!

I basically covered the "actual" plot. But the majority of this should be driven by character interaction. So make sure your characters are interesting and will have relationships (both negative and positive) with the other characters. We want tension in the group. Remember, you have been pulled from all over the worlds and cultures; your first instinct is probably not to be friends.

The Lost Worlds!

Any suggestion are welcome, anything I mentioned is a possibility. But I'm counting on everybody to contribute to the descriptions of the worlds. This should be a very vivid RP.

Arador felt the cooling sensation the glowing caves emitted on his skin. The cold light broke through the fiery foliage and in between the broad tree trunks of Autumn forest, coming to rest on his person. The warmth of this world was solely emitted by the blazing trees around him; their red and orange glow gave a distinct late summery feel. It was always day time here, somewhere between late afternoon and early evening. This was a drowsy world, with no living creatures present, the trees also showed no great intelligence. But it was here Arador strayed, waiting for the people promised him by His Lady.

Wondering a lethargy inducing forest hardly bode well for the up coming journey. There were worlds to be crossed and dangers to be over come, before the real mission could even start. And what was he doing? Trying to stay awake while he waited for a group of confused abductees to arrive. What better way to start such a crucial mission. Mind you, all these thoughts remained safely confined to Arador's head. He was hardly one to complain, or question orders, but that was easier done when a purpose was insight or an obstacle had to be over come. Given these lazy hours to contemplate the last five years didn't do his inner complexion any good. It gave his mind the time to recall and reminisce, and analyze all that had happened since he arrived in Lore'Ella. The resulting thoughts were mostly bitter and cynical. Despite all this his face remained passive, motions calm and confident, stride not broken for a moment. He still had to reach the glade after all.

If there had been a sun he would have glanced at it, but for lack of time telling device, Arador distracted himself by adding of up the various amounts of approximated time he'd spent since this morning. The minuets were getting into the high hundreds when he finally lost count. All was well though since, as he said to himself, he was right on time.

On entering the glade he could see the reality rippling outwards from some central origin. The travelers, or abductees as Arador called them in his mind, would soon be falling, and he did mean falling, out of the rift. For, you see, in the real world rifts to Lore’Ella always originate at the most unexpected and inconvinent places. No one simply "walks" through a rift to Lore'Ella. You are almost garneted to falls, or trip, or dive head first, into the rift. This makes some very amusing entrances, ones which Ardor was all too happy to sit back and wait for.

Tyris tripped. Not over the ground he was currently walking on but on a branch of a tree. Not even a branch on the ground, but on the branch of a tree still connected to the tree twenty feet in the air. As he fell, he was aware the barrenn cliffs he had been walking along had vanished and were replaced by some trees with unnaturally brightly colored leaves. Tyris plummetted to the groundand tried to time his fall. He fell into a roll, preventing any serious injury and Tyris crouched on the ground taking stock of his surroundings. The it occored to him, he glanced back in the direction he had come from.

Nothing.

He had just fallen from solid ground, through the sky to a completely different solid ground without the former solid ground anywhere to be seen. By what magic was this? he stood up making sure he was uninjured by testing the pain. There was nearly none he surmized as he stood so he assumed that nothing was broken, sprained or anythiong else. Tyris then took stock of his surroundings. there seemed to be an endless supply of trees here. More than he had ever seen in his life, all with that same strange bright colorings. But as he scanned the area his eyes fell upon a man sitting by a large tree.

Tyris loosened his sword in it's scabbard under his cloak as he approached this man.

"What is this place and who are you? Are you the cause of my sudden appearance here?" The words flowed out of Tyris' mouth. So many questions, so little time.

Hmm, the point of origin was higher than Arador had estimated. He had suspected that the rift's entranceway was some three feet off the ground. Not the approximate ten this abducty had just fallen. Perhaps it depended on the world you were arriving from? Arador's mind shrugged off the question. At this moment the traveler was advancing on him in a non-too-friendly way. Luckily, though that depends on your point of view, Arador had plenty of experience with befuddled new-comers to Lore'Ella.

Holding up his hands disarmingly, Arador made no move to get up. "Peace, your questions will be answered momentarily. For now I can only assure you I am not your foe and killing me would only inconvenience you. I, on the other hand, would have no qualms with you ending my existence here, so be assured in the fact that I say this out of no ulterior motive, other than your own well being." Part of Arador hoped to wordy-ness of that statement would take this creature a few moments to comprehend. "Now, pick the question you want most answered first and I will be obliged to answer it, for My Lady commanded me to so do."

All the while, Ardor kept an eye on the rift, wondering if any other abductees would be arriving soon. He didn't relish explaining the situation multiple times, and would prefer all the poor saps to be here and get the introductions over with. Time was not something he could afford to waste right now.

Wolfgang had just been walking through the halls of his family's palace, minding his own business, when he suddenly found his face colliding painfully with a branch. He falls on his back, immediately sitting up and looking around, what had just happened? All around him, he saw bright shades of red, yellow, and orange. His eyes widen with realization: this was a kidnapping ploy! He was on his feet in an instant, looking all around him. There! Two men, they must be the ones behind this!

He pulls out his revolver, pointing it at the man with the sword, clearly the bigger threat. "Not a step closer! I'll kill both of you!" His red eyes gleamed, his tail swishing back and forth. He suddenly realizes his hat is missing, and he notices that it had landed on the unarmed man's head. "And give me my hat!" He gestures with his gun for the man to throw it over.

He had been in situations like this before, he knew what to do. He would kill the strong one, inspiring fear in the other, who would return him to where he belonged. Wolf smiles at this, it would be too easy...

Arador's vigilance had paid off, yet another unsuspecting victim had fallen into his realm. This one almost as vicious, if not more, than the first. Somewhere in the confusion, the man had lost his hat to the wind and, subsequently, to Arador. Examining the head piece, Arador threw it back casually. By now he was standing up, he could feel a conflict rising between the two hot blooded men. Or rather Neko and demon. Still with his hands clear in view, Arador skirted the demon and placed himself in the line of the revolver.

"Sirs, please. Weapons away. Your comings here are not from any malicious intent on any party’s part. But intent aside you are both here, and most probably have the same goal in mind, mainly how to get back out, and if you would give me a moment of your time to explain, I can assure you all your misgiving will be put to rest. Now, that will never happen if my brains are splattered against a tree trunk. So I would advise you both again, to please retract your claws and pay heed to what I am about to convey to you both. If at the end, you both still feel the need to still stain this forest redder, I will make no move to stop you. With that said, if you would be so kind as to put your adrenaline on hold for a few moments all your questions will be answered."

This was said in one very long breath, he didn't really want to give anyone time to interrupt. He would have like to wait a little longer, but the intensity of the situation prompted action now.

Tyris turned, looking over his shoulder looking at the new arrival. The man seemed like a human except for a tail of a cat. Apparently then this man might have great balance or something. Tyris then smirked at the gun pointed at him.

"As if you'd shoot. I see no benefit in it for you. All you're doing is getting in a fight that you would lose." Tyris then turned away from the arrival and continued walking toward this man sitting against the tree. That new man just seemed like an arrogant snob. Thinking he could just wave a gun around and everybody would obey him. He had no idea what strength was. Tyris again smirked to himself. He doesn't even know who or what I am,how can he even begin to judge my strength?

"So first question. What is this place?"

Arador sighed inwardly, that was probably the hardest question to answer, though one he would eventually have to get around to. Still positioned between the two travelers, Arador at least felt the demon was starting to convert. "We are in Lore'Ella. A pocket in the universe where only the most fantastical worlds exist. Those untouched by progress or science. Lore'Ella is the safe haven for the mysterious and magical, here in a world where your most outrageous dreams are real." He paused, waiting for the incredulous gazes that almost always followed this speech. "Lore'Ella itself is a vast system of caves connected to each other by narrow tunnels. The Lost Worlds, as they are called, exist in different caves without knowledge of the other worlds. For example, where we now stand is called Autumn Forest, it was taken from the heart of England before it could be chopped down. Now it exists here in Lore'Ella." Arador stopped, trying to think of what to say next. "It is really so much easier to show you Lore'Ella than explain it." He trailed off, glancing to the rift again. There should be two o three more arrivals still coming. "So, gentlemen, next question?"

He glares at this short man, who would dare doubt his resolve. He had decided to be peaceful, or at least until this ignorant little man had piped up. "You seem to think I have reason to not blow a hole in your head..." He cocks his revolver, knowing the acid-filled rounds would make his death more painful then necessary. "So, you think you're so skilled, huh Scaly?" He looks briefly at his agitator's arm, mocking him silently for his imperfection.

He smiles suddenly, then puts his gun away, "You're not even worth my time..." this realization was enough to make him return his attention back to the man with the answers, or so he said.

He asks. "So, what are we doing here? And how do we get back?" Looking around at this place called Lore'ella, wondering if, maybe...

Arador tutted slightly, "Now that is really two questions, but they do have to do with one another, so I supposes it’s fair." By now Arador had lowered his hands and pocketed them. Satisfied that both men had stowed their weapons for the moment. Taking his time in answering, Arador walked across the glade to lean against a tree. Hoping the two travelers wouldn't kill each other the moment he walked out of the line of fire. All seemed well as he surveyed the scene from his new position. "As for the 'why' of why you're here, I'm afraid I can't tell you that in detail yet." Arador knew that statement would not go over well, so he quickly added. "The current objective is to make it back to Pax Castela alive. I will be acting as your guide for that journey. Upon reaching Pax Castela, the real reason why you have been summoned here will be brought to light. Upon completing that mission you may be able to return home." Though Arador highly doubted it, he'd been trying for years. "So we've covered where, why, that leaves who, how, when. How you got here I couldn't fathom a guess, other than to say through a portal. When? Our mission starts as soon as everyone arrives, so hopefully soon. And who? I do suppose introductions are in order."

Tyris listened to the ignoramus talk some sore. Something about no reason to not kill him. Idiot. But the little vassal had said something about more arriving. He could only hope they would not be more like this guy. Tyris eyed the man with the strange weapon and spoke again listening to his speach more closely. "So, you think you're so skilled, huh Scaly?" he caught. He supposed that was to be an insult but Tyris didn't mind. After all, he had acknowledged the scales so that was good, not bad.

"As for a reason not to 'blow a hole in my head' you do have a reason, which I just told you if you had the brain capacity to comprehend it. You gain nothing but lose answers. You think you are going to wander around and find your way back? I don't think so. And as soon as I pull my blade or you 'blow a hole in my head' if you must put it so crudely, the remaining party is out of answers, becasue I don't think the 'knight in shining armor' here will take a shine if we start killing each other."

Tyris turned then back to the "knight in shining armor" and asked another question.

"So by the way you were talking, you know that people are arriving. Why? Why do you need people?"

Arador was growing bored leaning against the tree and watching the new-comer's pathetic "battle of wits". Their quips were anything but intelligent and their constant need for weapons proved the lack the articulation needed for a verbal battle. It was really very dull. They seemed far more interested in flexing their muscles at each other than listening to Arador explains anything. Really, the people Fate Chose. What possible good these two would be in stopping the destruction of Lore'Ella was frankly beyond him.

"Are you two quite done?" Arador was losing his temper as he continued to contemplate what useless underlings he'd been dealt. "If so, I'll finish answering your questions." Sighing and running a hand through his hair Arador responded to the demon's question. "Yes, more should be coming. About two or three hopefully. They should arrive any minuet, but if it starts to grow too late we'll begin moving and they'll just have to catch up. Now, if you had been listening to the Nazi with cat ears, you would have heard me tell him that I can not divulge why you, or anyone else, are being summoned here. You will find that out when we reach Pax Castela." Slumping lower on the tree trunk, Arador blew a piece of hair out of his face. This was growing tiresome; he hoped one of the people coming out of eth rift next would provide some better conversation.

Wolf throws one last glare at the demon, he thought he was so smart, well, he'd show him... Not now, but when he least expected it... He could wait...

Then he remembered, he remembered what he had been doing before, and this realization hurt him, it hurt him more than anything ever had. He tried his best to hide it, turning away, and walking casually until he found a tree to lean on.He begins thinking to himself, not caring what the others thought at the moment. He had to get back, he had to. There were no if's, buts, or hopefully's. He had to get back. To her.

He turns around and looks at the 'leader' of the group. "So, how long will all this take?" His eyes never leave him, he ignores the bratty demon for now. Maybe someone more sociable would show up. But that wasn't important, not now...

Arador had been carefully examining the back of his eyelids, but blinked them open when he heard a voice addressing him. Arador's mood had taken a turn for the worst since this day began. It’s easier to keep a pleasant disposition when the people around you have some tact. "I don't know. Depends on how fast you walk what obstacles we run into, and if any of us die. But we have to cross at least four worlds before we make it to Pax, so quite awhile I'd say. In fact, I'd recommend sleeping for the time being. We won't get much chance to in the days ahead." Arador glanced from Neko to demon. "And for ease sake does either of you have names I can pronounce? Some how I don't think Nazi cat and snake demon are the most appropriate titles."

Tyris smirked. At least this guy had a sense of humor. It wasn't much but it'd make his days at least a little more tolerable. After all, both he and this cat were going to stick around and Tyris didn't think either would let the other anywhere near them. At least, Tyris had no intentions of sleeping anywhere near this man. He sat down on the ground in the middle of the clearing then Tyris then regarded the question that was posed to him.

"Tyris. And what would your name be? Oh and another question, you said we had to cross four worlds just now. How exactly do we go about that? Do we come and go as we just entered here, or is there a way of entering that might not involve falling to our death?"

By now Arador was sitting on the ground again, leaning against the same tree, fighting a losing battle with sleep. The forest was so quiet and so balmy it was hard not to drift off. But he opened in his eyes to answer Tyris's question. "Arador, at your service." Or something to that end, he thought inwardly, keeping his eyes open for a few more minuets. "And no, crossing between worlds once in Lore'Ella is a far less magical process than it is entering for the first time. As I previously mentioned, Lore'Ella is really a giant system of caves connected by tunnels. To cross into another world you simply need to find the entrance to that tunnel. But to stop the inhabitants of the many worlds from simply crossing over, the entrances are disguised and are normally well hidden. Or else in such an obvious place, no one ever considers it to be what it truly is. This forest is one of the only exceptions to that rule; since no one lives here the exit is in plain view." Arador glanced at the rift again. "I'm afraid we can't give the other travelers too much more time to get here. I'll repeat my suggestion that either some or all of us take this time to sleep, or at least rest, before our adventure begins. Once everyone is rested we'll have to set out."

Wolf yawns, sleep sounded like a good idea. He looks around for an ideal tree, finding one with a multitude of large leaves, perfect to conceal him while he slept. "You can call me Wolf." He says, not bothering to turn around to look at Arador or Tyris before he nimbly climbed into the tree that would be his bed for the night. He rests himself in the elbow of the branch, leaning against the tree. He hoped others would be there by the time he woke up.

He pulled his hat over his eyes, trying to block out the light. He couldn't help but think of her... And the child she carried... And with that final thought, he fell into a dreamless sleep...

With watching Wolf climb into the tree Tyris was satisfied. At least he had the sense not to try to wait until Tyris slept. Sleep was probably the best thing right now. He really had no idea what he was getting into, and the only person that did had recommeded sleep so he probably should take the advice. Tyris walked a short distance to the edge of the clearing and walked behind a tree to sit on the ground and close his eyes. With that Tyris fell asleep.

Arador was pleasantly surprised to see his suggestion had been taken and both travelers had gone to sleep. Maybe they weren't quite such miserable people after all. In fact, when they both had their traps shut like this they were actually quite good company. Arador's thoughts continued in this way for a few moments. It was now his turn to try and fall asleep, but something was keeping him from it. Sighing, Arador contented himself by watching the rippling pattern caused by the rift. As his eyes continued to examine it, he wondered if any other of the travelers would be showing up soon. It would be extremely troublesome if they arrived late and ended up roaming around the forest. Despite that concern, Arador knew he could only devote a few more hours to waiting.

In that moment of contemplation, someone began to appear through the rift. With a little more grace than her predecessors, Ishtar fell out and onto the ground. Ishtar had tan skin, sandy blond hair and aquamarine eyes. Arador couldn't help to be captivated when his own eyes locked with hers. Ishtar's immediate expression was that of confusion, but it was soon replaced with hard, calculating defiance. Something told Arador that this young woman was no stranger to weird happenings.

"Good afternoon." Arador's voice was casual; at least this one wasn't attacking him right off the bat.

"What's going on? Why am I here?" Ishtar's voice was authoritative, but not hostile. Arador sighed; this was why he'd wanted to wait to explain. But it couldn't be helped, so he began to recite everything he had just told Tyris and Wolf.

[OOC] Lore'ella

This is the auto-generated OOC topic for the roleplay "Lore'ella"

(follow the link at the top to add your character. There is no official skelaton. but the more information you add the better. So, what ever you think is nessacary)
