You would have to be completely blind and deaf to not realize that Kitten is a textbook example of a girly girl, from the dainty ruffles and lace that she dresses in, down to her everlasting giggle; she represents the very essence of all things feminine. She's never been seen wearing any other color than pink or white, anything other than a dress? Not in a million years. She loves her fashion sense almost as much as she adores herself. Yes that's right, call it vanity, but there's no chance in hell that she'll pass her reflection without at least saying something conceited. If anyone has something to say about her self-adoration she's most likely to counter with her favorite statement: "What? I can't help that I look so good! Jealous much?" If there were anything about Kitten that would never change, it would, without a doubt, be the way she loves herself. It doesn't stem from some sort of insecurity, she just honestly believes in herself that much.
From the moment you first meet her, the most dominant personality trait you'll experience first is her effervescence. She's very bubbly and optimistic, not every second of her life, but most of it. She wouldn't hesitate for a moment to invade your personal space and pull the corners of your mouth up into a smile. She has very little regard for things like personal bubbles and she never thinks before getting right up in someone's face. If you don't like it, you wouldn't be the first and probably won't be the last. This girl has bounds and bounds of nonstop energy, where she gets it from is a total mystery. Just know that she can fully function for hours with little sleep. Her worst personality trait would be that boisterous, borderline obnoxious, sound she makes that could be classified as a laugh. It's a good thing she doesn't crack up at every little thing that's said, otherwise it could really drive a poor soul insane.
One day someone might just break and try to murder Kitten, aside from the usual reasons, being a gang leader, being surrounded by lunatics, etc..., it could be because of her lack of verbal restraint. She's never been one to hold her tongue about anything, whatever she's thinking usually just gets blurted out regardless of the company. The only exception would be saying something that puts her, or her fellow Sirens in danger. Now she can keep a good secret and would never slip up and blurt out coveted information, but in any other situation she's going to speak exactly what's on her mind. At the very least you can rest assured that she's being honest with you. Another thing, she's pretty headstrong. If her idea conflicts with another she won't just roll over and cede to it. Once her mind is set on something it takes a great deal of effort to break her iron-like determination. She does try not to be reckless with her stubbornness, but she's only human.
You might never believe it, but contrary to popular belief, Kitten can be serious when the time calls for her to be. She can quiet down and focus on the task at hand. Often she's this focused when her Siren's lives are on the line. It's like a switch flips and she's suddenly calm and willing to properly plan things out. She individually loves each member of the Sirens and is very protective of them. It would ruin her if anything were ever to happen to one of them. For this very reason, she makes sure she knows where they're at during all times, unless they're all present in the group. Outside of her crew she doesn't trust many others and in this crazed world could you blame her? Kitten is...well Kitten, you'll either love or loathe her.
Background:
Kitten's history is a bit interesting if you take into consideration the fact that her mother was a part of the Sirens and her father, a Politia soldier. Now it wasn't always that way. Before Kaysui Gangjeon adopted the alias Kitten, the world wasn't in such a broken state. On the brink of falling to pieces, yes, but not quite there yet. She was very young when the tension between the rich and powerful escalated to a new, much more devastating height. Her family was middle class, and her parents happened to have very different opinions on the storm brewing between the wealthy. Her father was always envious of those more fortunate than himself, so be it consciously or subconsciously, he sided with the people who had money. On the other hand, her mother thought that the ones causing the drama, and her husband at the time, were both utterly ridiculous and out of their minds.
When the worldwide war first broke out, Kitten's father jumped to join Grant's Politia without so much as a second thought about his family. Her mother fled the city with Kitten and chose to lay low for a while in order to raise her daughter. After a few months passed, and the world went through it's drastic change, Kitten's mother ended up joining with the Sirens. She wasn't the leader, but second-in-command after working her way up the ladder. Being raised by a mother who was part of a gang worked out pretty well for Kitten. She was taught early on how to defend herself and better learn how to navigate the new world. After her father left to join the Politia neither she nor her mother knew what became of him, and after a while, they just stopped caring altogether. He'd made his choice, he wasn't with them so he was against them.
Kitten's mother died around the time that she was sixteen and by then she was so attached to the Sirens that she decided to join them. It made perfect sense. She climbed the ranking ladder the same way her mother had, and after a duel for the position, Kitten became the new leader of the Sirens. Joining them led her to her twin sister, Aden, who she'd been separated from at birth. At first her main goal was to survive and keep her crew breathing, but she later realized that childishly fighting over territory with other gangs wasn't productive. Things could probably never be set back to the previous way they were, but it could be better. Grant Richards had to be killed, and his growing empire taken down. When three of the other best gangs came together for a temporary treaty Kitten jumped at the chance to try something different. She can't really stand the others, but if she wants to see Grant's end then she'll just have to put her personal feelings aside.
