"Here, I go left, you go right," he said, scooting to the chickens left.
"Here, I go left, you go right," he said, scooting to the chickens left.
She walked away towards the coop to get more eggs.
She asked the question knowing that he wasn't going to want to stay on the farm. She also wanted him to come.
Then Jefferson took a good look at what he was wearing. A stained gray tank top and faded jeans. "Okay. So I am going to into town with my best friend Mya. Do you want to come or stay and deal with my evil father?"
Jefferson gave on a playful thinking face, and looked up into the sky. "Hm...." He said, leaving some type of suspense. He pretened to hesitate, then finally spoke. "I'll take the chances and head to town with a pretty girl." He said, grinning. He realized that was his first compliment the came from his head to her. "But, I don't think I can go into town looking like this." He took a look at what he was wearing, and laughed.
She scanned her closet for what seemed like years until she found the perfect out to please Mya and Jeff. Her outfit showed some skin, but didn't make her look like a whore which was pretty hard to achieve. She went into the bathroom and decided to work on her tangled hair and makeup.
Jefferson went straight upstairs and had idea of what he was going to wear. He went into his new drawer and picked out a grey button up with a few pockets, and thought he'd add some grey suspenders to the outfit. He went into his bag and pulled out some simple and comfortable jeans. Not to tight, but fitted. He slipped on his surprisingly clean pair of classic black and white All Stars, and planned to keep them clean.
He swirled into a wall mirror and checked himself out. He examined himself, and cocked is head slightly to the left, wondering what was missing.
"Ah!" He said, going into his bag, picking out a jar of styling jell. He slid a few on his index finger, and slicked it on the front of his chestnut hair, just slightly, careful not to achieve a James bond slick back. He put applied enough, not to much. He cupped his mouth, and smelled his breath. He shook his head in reaction, and reached into his dresser under the pile of clothes and picked up mouth spray. He squirted a few times in his mouth, and licked his lips. Perfect.
He went downstairs, surprisingly first down. He was in a pretty good mood. He sat on the steps, and suddenly became bored. So, he did a simple bored dance, assuming no one was watching.
Mya was waiting for them by her mercedes and when she saw Stephanie walk out she ran and hugged her. "Hey Mya." Stephanie was about to introduce Mya to Jeff, but Mya seemed to be doing well on her own.
She walked around Jeff and smiled. "Well hello there handsome. I am Mya," she said as Stephanie rolled her eyes.
Jefferson jumped, and looked over his shoulder, as Stephanie came past him down the steps. A slight color of red filled his face but he kept it to himself. He picked himself up from the steps.
He started behind Stephanie, and a girl reached around her and hugged her, as if they hadn't seen eachother in years. He guessed it was a girl thing. The female then turned to him, and approached him. He smiled, politely, with a slight look of confusion. "Well hello there handsome. I am Mya," Jefferson let out a flattered grin. Jefferson, routinly, held out his hand to shake.
"You must be Mya, Stephanie's friend." He said, with a nod. "Nice to meet you." He said to her, with a slight glance at Stephanie.
"How do you know my best friend? Are you a secret boyfriend she hid from me?" Mya asked slightly joking.
Stephanie just blushed and looked down. "I can't hide things from you," she retorted, Mya was still waiting for an answer from Jeff.
Jefferson stood silent, then let out a chuckle, and looked over at Stephanie,-(vv)
Well, no, not yet. But hopefully soon.. was what he wanted to say, but instead he scooted in his seat, and said, "I'm working for her father to live with them," He began to explain. "Her and I met earlier today," He said, giving Stephanie a friendly glance.
Stephanie waited for Jeff to get out of the car so she could link arms with him as they walked in.
He chuckled and undid his seatbelt. "Ah, this is going to be fun." He hopped out the car and stretched. He looked over at Stephanie. "You never told me about a party." He smiled, leaning in closer to her, feeling the wind of freedom away from the farm, giving him some more space to hopefully make a move.
((OOC: can I make a character for the party?))
((OOC: By all means! Go ahead!))
He thought it was funny, he'd knew he'd get bored. But he didn't mind. All of the boredom would be passed along once at the party. He sat down on a bench, awaiting free handed for endless of bags and clothes to be dropped into his hand. He unlocked his phone and began to play Temple Run, which was one of his favorite apps. As he played, a slight tap came across his leg. He looked up, and couldn't believe who it was.
"Nina?" He said, letting in a huge gasp. "Is that you, girl?" He asked, standing to his feet, reaching out for a huge hug. She stood up with her drink, with open arms.
"Jeff!" she grinned, leaning in for a huge.
Jefferson gave a her hug, and took a long look at her. "Woah. you changed," He said, almost dazed.
"Yes, yes, I know honey," She said, swirling around in a model pose, in a joking way. Jefferson laughed. "I always stay looking nice, no?" She asked, smiling. Jefferson took that as an unanswerable question, but she stood silent and waited for a response. "Um, definitely,"
"So, where are you? Bangz was looking for you the other day. He said you just packed up and left." Nina said, taking a sip of her milkshake.
Jefferson's heart pounded. He was trying to get away from all of this. "Well, you know, I'll be back," He lied. He never wanted to come back. "I've just been on a break here and there," He said, trying to seem convincing.
"Really? Where are you staying? Apparently not in the city, considering your way out here in the country." She said, eyeing him suspiciously. Jefferson scratched his head. "I have family here. I'm actually here with some of them now," He lied once more.
"Oh, really? Where?" She asked, looking through the aisles. Nina was like a messenger. One thing she thought was off, She'd go back and tell the crips about Jefferson trying to run away from the gang. Anyone who'd tried to run away, would get seriouse consequences - the worst - death.
"Somewhere, I don't know."
"Well, what're you doing later? I'm gonna be out here for the weekend, maybe we can chill, you know?"
"Naw, I'm okay."
"What do you mean your okay? Is everything alright?"
Jefferson swallowed. "Y-yeah..everything's fine..."
"No Mya. Let's just leave them," Stephanie tried to say, but Mya was pushing her towards them.
"No Steph! Mark your territory," she encouraged while pushing Mya towards them. Steph looked back at he girl he was talking to and was even more discouraged. The girl had the body of a model and Steph was stuck with a farmers look. Now she wanted to hide.
"Mya this isn't a goo-," Just then she crashed right into Jeff from behind. Blushing deeply she hung her head down. "Hey, sorry about that." Mya looked back up and looked at the girl and then at Jeff. "I'll just leave you two alone," she said as she turned to leave. Mya was disappointed, but Steph knew better than to make a fool of herself.
Nina looked at Stephanie like she was crazy, and was ready to say something rude. Jefferson didn't like the way Nina looked at her. He knew Nina could get extremely crazy, even with a random stranger. "Ah, Stephanie, there you are." He said, quickly trying change the subject. "Nina, this, this is Stephanie." He said, being picky of what information he gave Nina, because it would go right back to the guys. Nina eyed Stephanie up and down, and rolled her eyes, refusing to shake her hand. All she said was "Charmed," and looked the other way as though the air had more interest than her. Jefferson stared at Nina, then turned to Stephanie. "Steph, Mya, this is Nina. She's an old friend of mine." He said, being picky as to what information he shared to Steph also.
"I don't like her," Steph said.
"She doesn't like you either," Mya replied with a laugh.
"Good."
Stephanie went into the dresing room to try things in and Mya did the same thing.
Nina started ranting, and babbling as she always did. Jefferson picked her up, and carried her outside the store. Nina yelled at him to let her go. "I asked who does she think she is -"
"She's my girlfriend!" Jefferson told her, not realizing what was shooting out his mouth. "She's my girlfriend, alright?" He said, sitting Nina down. Nina's eye then became wide, and her mouth shot open.
"Forreal? Are you serious?"
Jefferson hesitantly nodded. "Y-yes, she is." Jefferson didn't know what he had done, but apparently it calmed Nina down. A huge smile slide across Nina's face. "Aww!" She cheered. "Why didn't you tell me earlier?"
Jefferson ran his fingers through his hair and looked down to the ground, and shrugged.
"She's adorable! You two are adorable!" She clapped. Jefferson's cheeks suddenly turned slightly red, and he shoot it off with a wave. "Okay, Nina, now can you go?"
"No! I want to reintroduce myself!"
"No..it's not necessary..." Jefferson murmured to her. He could tell that Stephanie already had her impression on her, and didn't want neither Mya nor Stephanie to come face to face after that tense yet awkward greet.
"So, if you don't mind," Jefferson said, backing to the store.
"Oh, fine!" Nina said, giving Jefferson a huge hug. "Call me! Do you have my number?"
"No." He said, remembering even if he did, he couldn't come in contact with her.
"Well here it is," She said, writing on a receipt paper and handing it to him. Jefferson didn't want nor need it, but he stuffed it into his pocket anyway, just to get Nina away. "Arlight Nina," He said, backing to the store.
He walked back in, and saw Stephanie and Mya towards the back. He approached Stephanie from behind closely, in a playfully, with his hands in his pocket. He smiled. She may or may not have seen him, but he tickled her one her waist gently.
Then it was silenced and she was grateful the girl didn't come up to her because she wasn't in the mood for a fight. After a while longer she was dozing off. "Mya hurry up," she yelled at her bestfriend. Then all of a sudden someone was tickling her waist and she let out a laugh. She bounced away and saw that is was Jeff. She scoffed and gently punched his arm. Running her hand through her hair she looked behind him to see that she had left. "Good she is gone. I don't like fighting people," she said looking back at him.
"Who was she anyway? An old girlfriend?" She asked with a tiny bit of jealousy.
"So, did you two find any cute clothes yet?" He said, changing the subject quickly.
"So about the party. It is not that serious it is just a barn party," Stephanie said. She wasn't the only one that owned a barn, but she was the only one with a farmer as a dad. Some people just wanted the barn. "So don't over dress or dance with people that aren't me," she added in jokingly.
Stephanie shook her head and moved his hand out of the way. She started messing with it as her hand moved through his hand. They were still pretty close which made it easier to do so. She moved her hand, but it fell back down. "Your hair is a bit rebellious," she said with a laugh.
