Nick names: Serene, Serena

Personality: Her childish curiousity and innocence have failed to leave her even now when she is an adult. She's fairly intelligent, but because of her stubborness and naivete, it clouds her judgement. Serenity tries to keep that immature side of her in check. It would be embarrassing, and anyway, it would ruin the image she once had. She lost the ability to care about it after getting hurt so badly from her past relationships. The Serenity most people saw once was a social butterfly who wasn't too bad to look at and threw some amazing parties.

But to be honest, Serenity wants nothing more than for someone to love her. Her image, popularity, reputation... it wouldn't matter at all if she had someone to love. But once again, her past relationships have caused post-traumatic stress that she suffers terribly from. She wants be able to do what she pleases, but it's not a choice for her anymore now that she is so deeply scarred. And so, she's resolved to pretending to be ugly, like hiding her body with baggy clothes and hoods. It's the only way she could protect herself, as she would say. She doesn't want to be used for her body, and wants someone to see her inner beauty that she knew she has deep down inside her. She's very tight-lipped about anything having to do with her business, but when she's alone, she has the tendency to speak her mind to herself where she would not be judged. When she was younger, she was much more optimistic, but as she's grown, her glass turned from half full to half empty and she struggles to keep her mind open if it is something she is extremely stubborn about.

History: She was born in a fairly normal family consisting of two older brothers, a younger sister, and her parents. All her life, Serenity was surrounded with fairy tales. Nothing could entertain her more than a story or two, especially of the romance variety. Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, if it involved romance, she knew it. She's always wanted to find her Prince Charming and live happily ever after. In the back of her mind, she still reminds herself of them, even now. Some princesses had trouble finding that Mr. Right, and she was certainly no exception! In elementary school, boys still thought she had cooties, and worse she was just a bit nerdy. It was in middle school that she began to blossom into the lady she would become. Boys still had a bit of trouble noticing her, though. Several confessions were turned down, but she managed to keep her head up. High school came around, and suddenly guys began to make a complete turn-around for her. Serenity was certainly pleased when guys began to ask her out. She jumped into her first relationship rather quickly, even though she did not know the person very well. Nevertheless, she was enjoying life. But he broke up with her. Serenity was more than a little confused, and she started crying almost immediately after. And almost every relationship she had afterwards ended in the exact same result. It was only during her last relationship that she realized why they even bothered to date her in the first place. As they pulled up to a cliff overlooking the town she lived in, the boy she was dating started coming onto her. She immediately protested, but he continued to molest her. When she finally gave him a good kick below the belt, he started shouting at her that he was only dating her for her appearance and her body was the only thing she was good for. Shocked and hurt beyond belief she ran out of there for home, and ever since has had trouble in trusting others, especially men.
