"Well in that case, ONWARD TO MY HOME!" he yelled out through the halls before taking off out of the school, him holding her hand in his so she wouldn't get lost. "I hope you don't mind a long walk, my parents don't trust me with a vehicle at all," he chuckled a little bit ashamed that his parents wouldn't let him have his own car.

Lila smiled. "THank you." She had always been artistic,but her favorite thing to draw was people.. She loved the challenge of perfect jaw lines and making sure that the eyes were the perfect shade.

James looked away awkwardly before answering her question, "well, when I was learning to drive... I kind of had an accident involving the car going through the garage door.." He cleared his throat out of shame and awkwardness, bet started to walk away from the school with her hand in his.

Layla smiled. "Well, I am an EXCELLENT driver, just my car isn't ready yet," she said, staring into space then looking back at James. She giggled, thinking about him going through the garage door, but only because he wasn't hurt, or didn't appear to be.

James chuckled softly, "good thing you're an excellent driver, one of of has to be." He laughed a big and gripped her hand tightly, continuing to walk down the sidewalk to his house. The house was quite a few blocks away from the school and it usually took him a while to get to school and home everyday, especially if he had gotten up late or had detention after school. The walk today though was particularly nice, he wasn't sure if it was because he was holding hands with a beautiful girl or if it was because of the day, but he was certain it was because of the girl. Eventually they had made it too his house, the outside a very old English look and feel to it, "here we are," he said looking over at her with a wide smile.

Jarred just smiled and nodded at her. "It's been in the family for generations," he said, proudly, looking around. "As soon as dad passes away, it'll become mine."

"It may look good on the outside, but once we get inside all hell is going to break loss," he said with a sigh as he slowly approached the house with her in hand. He didn't want to go inside when he knew his mother was going to be angry about him getting a detention after school. Though it wasn't often that he did have one but she still didn't like it non-the-less.

"Alright," he said with a nervous sigh, "lets go in." He pulled her along and up the steps, onto the long porch which was decorated in pot of blooming flowers. Reaching for the handle her slowly turned it, he didn't like the idea of bringing her into the house with his mother whom was surely in a foal mood. Once the door was open and he had stepped inside a pillow suddenly made hard contact with is face and plopped to the floor. His eyes were closed after the pillow made contact and he slowly opened them to see his mother. "H... hi mom, I see you're quite upset." "Of course I'm upset!" she exclaimed at him, "you got a detention today, I thought I raised you better than that!" James argued with his mother for a minute, he kept Layla behind him to shield her.

James was having a hard time calming down his mother so he could explain why he had gotten his detention. He decided to grab Layla and bring her to the front of him to show his mother. Suddenly the woman stopped rampaging and looked at the girl as if she'd never seen a young woman in here life. His mother walked up to the girl and looked her face to face, "Oh my god I can't believe my son brought such a beautiful young girl home with him!" She exclaimed joyfully, it was rare for her son to bring girls home to meet her. James raised his eyebrow at his mother's odd reaction, but he was certainly relieved that there would be nothing else being thrown at him.

James' mother took the girls hand and gently shook it, she was glad her son finally brought home a friendly and adorable looking girl to meet her. "Oh I am so glad to meet you darling," his mother said tenderly, "I'm Mrs. Monroe." The woman let go of her hand and walked off towards the kitchen, but before leaving completely she told her son to have be nice to the girl and not to try anything with her. James chuckled awkwardly that his mother would even think he'd do something like that, "I.. surely won't," He said back to her before looking at Layla. "Well that was my mother, good thing my father isn't home right now..." the man sighed in relief, who knows how he would have reacted to Layla. "So, I'm guessing you usually try a lot of stuff," Layla said, smiling at James as his mother walked out the room. She found it funny she said that.
