♚ THE KING ♂
☇ The leader of Utopia's defense division, STRINGS, he who holds the rank of King enjoys sitting back and letting everyone else do all of the hard work. He feels that he deserves to be lazy, seeing as over the past two months he's racked up way more Doll kills than anyone else on his shoddy team of misfit fighters. While he prefers composing strategies over actually fighting, he by far has the most power behind his combative ability. When it comes down to it, though, King is a good guy with strong morals, even if he does have a habit of picking on his subordinates.

Physical appearance:
Pierre Xerces Black is a good looking young man, with pale skin - half from avoiding the sun and from being at the computer when he was a young man. His complexion could be called pale ivory. He has tousled white hair that tends to get into his sharp and analytical sapphire blue eyes that seems to weigh and scrutinize everything in sight. He stands at 5'9 and weighs in at around 140 pounds. Pierre has a lean looking build, but has a lot of strength under those slim looking arms and legs.
Clothing and accessories:
Unless he's in 'court' he wears a casual white dress shirt, buttoned all the way up with the exception of the top button, usually with a top pocket in the left hand corner where he keeps a keepsake from his grandfather in the form of a chess piece made of marble with silver inlay. For pants, he wears a pair of charcoal black or light gray slacks. He wears black dress shoes that are cleaned vigorously at night before bed. They have a sheen to them that makes the lesser of the strings jealous. It is the dearest ambition of some members of the Cards to somehow destroy those shoes. And they are quite imaginative too. If he's in 'court' he wears mostly the same thing, except he dons a sapphire blue cape with white trim and a silver crown with a sapphire in the center. He also has a scepter with sapphires.

General: No one would accuse Pierre of being considerate the first time he met them. In fact, the first time anyone meets him, unless he takes an interest in them, he is cool and distant with them. He wears a carefully carved mask he's had since birth practically. Some of the people that know him have managed to crack the mask a bit to reveal a warmer hearted person. However, Pierre is about justice, and will help those who deserve it. The coldness is his way of testing those that are aligned with him, and those who defy him. He's pretty lazy.
Likes/Dislikes: Pierre loves the color blue, particularly sapphire blue, and chess. His most prized possession is a chess piece (the King) that his grandfather gave him. He also loves pizza - its his guilty secret. He hates yellow, and doesn't care for brussel sprouts at all, as well as the Card Heart, which is his younger brother.
Hobbies: Painting/Sketching/Chess
Strengths/Weaknesses: Pierre is an excellent bladed fighter. He can pick up and use almost any bladed weapon. However, he's at a big handicap at using guns. He prefers close combat, but because his speed is only second to the queen's, he's decent at long ranged combat. While Pierre has a cold attitude, in solving problems, he is a mastermind, and prior to the doll's creation, he was a world renowned chess master.
Fears: His mask, perfection that it is, getting broken by someone, losing the only family member he has left, while also fearing he might lose against him. (The Heart of the Cards)
Other quirks: He really loves pizza.

A twin headed scythe is his favorite, but he can handle almost any bladed weapon pretty well. (One head is in < direction, the other in > direction on the ends)

Pierre is quick, and if given a moment, will analyze everything, from the person's size, weight, height and even the stats on their weapon and calculate it in his head. As said prior, his speed is his main weapon, apart from his scythe.

The STRINGS
The Queen: An admirable person. Someone he has a slight crush on, but won't say a thing about.
The Rook - A bit of an annoying brute, but one that is vital for his goals.
The Bishop - An interesting girl. He values her ability to fight long ranged, but is rather amused at her habit of not looking the people the dolls once were in the face when she kills them.
The Knight - Finds him rather pathetic, and puts him to babysitting the Pawns, or the lowest of the STRINGS, the Pawns.
The Pawns - Merely children in his eyes. However, he refuses to take anyone lightly, so he watches all of the STRINGS members closely.
The Heart - His younger brother. His rival. And the one he plans to defeat as soon as he takes out the rest of the cards. He's determined to make his brother suffer. But, he also doesn't want to kill him.
