Shale City, New Lanston is in between the North And South, and off to the East over in The 'States. It is home to more than 8,001,024 Local inhabitants, Shops, Schools, Malls, activities, organizations…

And Bacteria.

As of November 2011, the snow has been predicted to come early, and often. But what hasn't been predicted was the attack on American Soil by an Unknown Enemy. An Enemy that allies itself with no one but itself.

Bacteria.

Lying low and unnoticed, they have posed a significant threat by way of disease. Chemical Warfare, Really. But it wasn't until recently that they have become far more than what they were now. No one is sure how it happened. No one knows why they grew. But then again, its just occurring to them that these things exist.

Bacteria.

They evolved rapidly out of nowhere, starting to take table scraps to survive. Eventually it went to trash. And even stealing food. Then it came to lives. Animals first. Rats, all the way to bears and horses. You get the idea. And now with Humans apart of their new, nutritious plan, they wish to survive and thrive. It's all they know, really.

The weekend is near with it being thursday, on that first week of attack. Little do we know that someone, somewhere, There is a person that will meet these creatures and Decide….


…That they can't continue. The Bacteria of course.

Because Humanity is stronger than we give it credit for. It has stood against time, illness, war, and all else. Looks like we still have a fighting chance, folks.

Basic Setup: Mutant Bacti monsters are slowly popping up. At first it seems it can be contained with the help of the proper "Warriors" to fight them off, but eventually it becomes an epidemic.

The growth in cells has also inspired mutation in animals. Running rampant in the wilderness are savage beasts that seem to resemble the oddest things, ranging from beasts of myth and other intimidating animals, to something as cute as pokemon. To harness one as your pet is a potential suicide, but amazing if you can get one to befriend you in the battle.

Additionally, Prior to appearing in the US, it has occurred only a small bit earlier in france, leading up to the creation of a small group of hunters that had recently been formed to go after these creatures and destroy them with varying weaknesses with strange, but futuristic tools to aid them. They even say the battle between these 'Cleaners' and Bacti Beasts (BB's, which also stand for Bacti Bastards) resulted in a monster similar to Godzilla causing the disasters in Japan, as well as a light shake near D.C. In the U.S. from its sheer power.

1) "The Maid"

A Teenage girl who was the daughter of a brilliant Japanese Scientist that helped develop 'Cleaner' Weaponry. She and her family moved to the U.S. for reasons unknown, guessed to be involved with recent events that occurred several months ago. In addition to being a very attractive young lady, she's been trained in weaponry, the most prominent of which are special laser guns that fire high temperature beams. She was codenamed 'The Maid' and sent in to keep an eye on things and report any activity, much to her dismay of being able to be a 'Badass Action Heroine." She acts normally in public otherwise.

Specialty: Gadgets and guns. And a Scouter-like device. :O

2) The Street Fighter (Taken)

A Teenage Boy born and raised in Shale City, and as old as "The Maid." Despite his story title, he's actually studied martial arts, prominently Chinese Kung Fu. He is one of the first people to discover a BB creature. He seems to possess an ability called 'The Glow' that lets him use his internal energy, which seems to spell doom for the BB's.

3) Code B (Taken)

This is a human twisted after having his sole genetic code rewritten by an odd Symbiote Bacteria that tried to bond with him. He requires a constant supply of energy like a vampire to blood, in exchange getting various abilities other than strength, speed, and agility. He can make his hands and feet sticky, then suddenly attach to another object tightly as if glued to it, despite there being no material or excretement, sap energy/blood/etc through his teeth/fingertips. His eyes can produce a deadly set of heat beams, and his breath can be icy cold, both of these depending on his body temperature.
