It was midday and Mirana was disappointed with her children about what they had done. She had to go for the first time in years back to her original for, so that she could heal the teens without being noticed as their foster mother. Sooner or later, they would eventually find out and might find out other secrets such as her lying to them about being their foster mother to hide that she is their real mother. Even though she had given them to other families when they were babies, they ended up back with her.

Now demons and other hellish creatures were roaming the streets. Most of them had taken human form and had begun to lure humans into deadly traps. She remembered the demon she had to kill to make the house a safe place for the teens to be revived. His body parts were shredded in a trashbag in the trashcan outside and cleaning up the blood was a great deal of work. It was odd that they hadnt asked yet, why there was a portal to hell in her room.

Mirana sat in a chair with white buttoned up shortsleeve dress with a red ribbon tied up. She wore a black string wrapped around her neck multiple times and an ancient pendant that symbolized death which hung on a silver chain. Her very long hair remained open and her blue eyes stared out the window.

Saikoro hadn't really thought about anything yet, anything except his strange new view. He had closed himself up in a room where no one could try and bother him, what had happened? Ah yes, curiosity. For the first time, it got the better of him and made him agree on opening that damned wardrobe, and for what? So they could... And that was what was pretty much starting to take a dead end. All that was left to remember was when he woke up and only one look was necessary to confront him with his obvious change. At was like he couldn't see any colour, and humans, or rather... Moving objects had a number of some sort on all their parts, percentages... Though what it meant, Saikoro didn't know. Perhaps opening the wardrobe triggered something? Every question he could come up with confused him, and instead he turned his mind to his game. A simple 'Guess the card' game, like memory; except, with a deck of cards. Saikoro took a stare at the deck of cards that had slowly become thinner and thinner, the cards he had already drawn were divided in a deck of 'correct guess' and 'wrong guess'. And for some reason, it was the wrong guess deck that was bigger.

"Heh, I suppose this odd event blurs my mind. Never mind, I was done poking my luck anyway." Saikoro shrugged, combining the decks and shuffling the cards. With a quick twist he stored the deck in its respective holster. "Y'know. I actually miss my normal vision, this is just plain odd. Who cares that vase has a 70 percent of whatever it means." Out of sheer boredom he had randomly stared at a vase, and it just made him raise his eyebrow in confusion. He rose up from the ground, placing his hand in front of his face. Luck is funny. Sometimes it'll give you immense happiness, other times it'll kick you right in the face. With a quick thought about what he should do now, Saikoro figured he would see if anyone was interested in having an exchange of words. He wandered around the house, and besides finding no one besides his foster mother, Saikoro let out a deep sigh. "Y'know, I'm conflicted. Should I be happy with my new way of vision? Or should I be worried?" A random question just blurted out of his mouth. But what else was he supposed to ask? If anything he'd rather have answers about that before anything else probably. Saikoro shook his head, once more placing his hand in front of his face. After a split second he just waited, leaning against a random wall.

Minato was...different, there was always a voice in the back of his head, a dark, malevolent voice that guided him after that night all those years ago, but the wardrobe made him feel different gave the voice form and power, though it's hard to tell which is the scarier part there, but the voice was controlling his body making him very violent and flames to amplify the strength. He figured the flames could work for him too but for that he would need to fight, what was essentially his Shadow, and win and he would have to do it alone...unless Mirana could help but this he doubted as that would mean that she would need to possess the ability to manipulate shadows and Shadows but it was worth a try, she saved his life as a kid so she might be able to save his mind as a teenager. Fighting for control, he guided his body to the kitchen, where he found Mirana "He..lp..me", He collapsed to his knees in front of her, head in his hands, and she simply kissed his forehead and the voice was quietened and he who was so used to, even dependent on the voice, despite it's evil, fainted at her feet...

Mirana sighed as Minato fainted before her. "Poor ill fated Minato. I will calm that voice that haunts you." Mirana said. "You kids caused me a lot of trouble by opening that cursed wardrobe. Things come out of there that arent human and know no mercy or discipline." It was partially her fault for leaving the underworld and locking the demons up in an eternal prison. Without her, the only creature that gave punishment to the demons, the underworld had become an anarchy where demons turned barbaric over the past hundred years. Now they roam free around the city, preying on human beings.

Mirana then sensed a demon presence left the room. Then she went to the bathroom and turned off the light. The demon then broke into the house and the lights went out. When the went back on, a shadow moved slowly towards the demon. "No! Not Mother Nightmare! Please dont kill me!" The demon screamed. The shadow then trapped the demon and then began to consume him. Then the shadow moved from the spot again leaving a demon skeleton. "Protect yourself, human children. More are coming." An eerie voice whispered slowly.

That was when Yinyang suddenly became noticeable. She had been there the whole time, watching as her co-orphans opened the wardrobe. The only reason she grew to the possibility of attention was that She was now no longer capable of actively avoiding notice. Or actively doing anything, for that matter. It could be quite difficult to keep moving about when dead. Or she thought she was dead. That was the odd thing. She was fairly certain of her death, however, that meant she was thinking. There was, of course, that old quote;
"I think therefore I am"
but then, that was written by someone alive. How was anyone who still held red hot blood coursing in their veins to understand the reality of death?

Saikoro had himself staring at random objects that were scattered around the hall, each of them having a different percentage. What do those numbers mean...? Surely not how much discount it has. As random thoughts about his new vision popped up in his head once in a while, Saikoro still wandered along the halls, rather then returning to the room he had himself thinking, he took a turn to the left into the living room. A quick flash had Saikoro worried for a second, it felt like the lights had gone off, though it didn't effect his view. A feint whisper let a chill ran through his spine. "Protect yourself, human children. More are coming." With a quick turn Saikoro focused on something sneaking up behind him, but nothing happened. With the whispering words in his mind Saikoro dropped himself on the ground with in front of him, a table. He did not know what to do besides waiting for someone to appear and probably yell out what that voice meant, if others had heard the voice that is. With a small shrug he reached for his deck of cards, wanting to try his luck one more time. He dropped the shuffled deck of cards on the table and with one more look around the living room, Saikoro started his little game.

Minato ,who was still aware of his surroundings despite being unconscious, heard"Protect yourself, human children. More are coming" but couldn't do anything about it as he was inside his mind. As he looked around he seen that he had maybe 30 ft of light around him but beyond that was darkness and a figure stepped forth. The person before him was an exact replica of him, except for his eyes which were black as the rest of the room. "I am your Shadow, prove to me that you are worthy to control your own body." Before he could react the replica charged at him, hands coated in flames, Sora had only the time to dodge a flaming punch but the blast from it made him fall backwards, but he used this to his advantage, extending his foot to kick himself (?) in the stomach and kick him over his head, sending him flying back into the darkness that blotted out even the flames on his hands but his victory was short lived as a flaming knife flew out of the blackness and hit him on the shoulder, hitting him to the floor as he seen his Shadow return from the darkness no worse for wear, "Lucky shot." clearly not hurt but quite angered how he let that happen. Sora thought that maybe if he pulled the blade from his shoulder and used it as a weapon, he might have a fair shot, so he grabbed the still flaming knife and pulled as hard as could, causing himself great amounts of pain, but he did manage to remove the blade and somehow still stand but he also noticed that, for one, his Shadow seemed to expect this course of action , and for two, the wound remained on fire despite the removal of the blade until it was healed completely, not even leaving a scar, seeing this his Shadow seemed to back down, " You have proven yourself...for now but we WILL finish this." With that he awoke suddenly to find that there was a knife, THE knife, from his head, but that took a slight back seat to the creature baring down on him, looking like he intended to rip the flesh off his bones, eat it and then use the skeleton as a decoration, "I will fight this one you sit this one out, okay?" The voice was back but with less evil and more looking out for numero uno, who in this case just so happened to also be Minato, "O-okay" he stuttered aloud before he was put back into the room, but this time it was different, now there was a table with two chairs and a TV on top, there was also a note on the table that read "We will not be able to switch a will after this so keep your fingers crossed, signed, The True Self...

Demons began to burst into the house. But then Mirana reappeared in front of them as the shadow. "M..M...Mother Nightmare!" one of them stuttered. Then Mirana/Mother Nightmare whispered: "It has been a while. You should have stayed in the underworld. Prepare to die." The shadow then took one of them and the demons limbs flew everywhere. Then another arm of the shadow covered a demons head and tore his head off with a crunch. Some of the demons tried to flee the scene but the door closed on the and wouldnt bulge. Mother Nightmare had a demonic evil laugh which was terrifying. "Now I will let these kids take care of you. And kids, watch out that your mother does not get hurt." Mother Nightmare said and disappeared. She reappeared in Miranas bedroom and turned back to her human form, Mirana Daemonica.

Yinyang was then so much more awake than she had been before in her life. A million times more, by leaps and bounds. She could hear, could smell, every little thing for miles. Everything was swirls, bundles, collections of energy and those, too, she could detect. She stood, and found she could still tell, by smell, what kind of wood the floor was. "Awesome!" she said, energetically, before she noticed something which made her very, very sad.

There was a demon in front of her. She screamed, loud and high-pitched as anything could conceivably be. And the demons blood froze, as Yin flung a chair at it.

It shattered.

Leaving her alone in the room once more. Until three more demons came. She had noticed the blood thing a moment ago, and she noted that she was able to twist the moisture in the air. Control of water... interesting she thought, inquisitively. She then used that control to bend the demons very blood to her will. it lashed out against it's comrades, and killed them. "Thank you! now, as a reward....." she said, devilishly. She could be cruel at times. "You can go join your friends." she twisted her hands about each other, and then quickly motioned them in directions opposite one another. The Demon, in turn, exploded. Literally.

"well, That was fun!" she said, happily. It was a tad creepy that she got so much joy out of this. She looked down, at her hands. They were dried up. "Side effect?" she wondered aloud. "well, maybe I shouldn't use that all too oft-" She whirled about, smelling a demon right behind her. Her sewing supplies were in her skirt pocket from earlier, and she took the pair of scissors, throwing them at the creature. She had great aim, but it was only a pair of sewing scissors.

Saikoro had himself occupied with his little game, a bit too much maybe? The growling and grunting of a beast that just stepped inside the living room made Saikoro snap out of his own world. Slightly fearful, yet, not showing any emotion that would lead him to be scared of the thing appearing before him. With the unknowing nature and the laid back personality of himself, Saikoro, oddly enough asked a question. "You here to join in on a game of chance perhaps?" Though all the demon could obviously spill out was a grunt, and with that grunt he signed in to lunge at Saikoro who barely dodged the sudden attack. "Whoa there! I guess you aren't human after all." With a quick twist with his hand, he launched a card which he held in his hand at the beast-like creature, though knowing it would do nothing but maybe a small paper cut. Surprised as a small 'hiss' was noted and after the card got into contact with the creature, a small flash and a feint 'Bang!' made Saikoro confused. So many questions already, and just now, a few more were added to that list.

The beast-like creature grunted in pain as it stood back on his feet, ready to charge in once more. What would this... Maybe. Saikoro quickly reached for one more card, thinking back to the small explosion that obviously originated from the card. "Only one way to find out." Once more Saikoro launched the card towards the creature, and another 'hiss' and 'Bang!' would be noted. The creature fell on its knees, slowly fading into some sort of dust and eventually vanishing into thin air. Saikoro had raised his eyebrow, wondering what the hell just happened. "Another one of those odd abilities? Like my vision?" With a small shake of his head, he collected his cards, keeping them in hand reach for there would probably be more creatures like the one he defeated just a while ago. With a slow pace, he walked out of the living room, once more standing in the hall. As quickly as it happened, another beast-like creature came charging at Saikoro, his jaws wide open to devour his target in one attack. Once again those numbers, what do they mean? 48 percent chance of what? Without thinking too deep, he launched one more card that flew alongside the still charging creature and softly exploded in mid-air. "I got it! Hit percentage!" He said a little too loud, but he had bigger problems to worry about and with another draw Saikoro launched another card which struck into the creature's head. Exploding on contact, all it left was a small pile of blood. Without second thoughts Saikoro started to look around for his fellow orphans, wondering how they were holding up in this mess. Surely Saikoro wasn't the only one experiencing random attacks?

As Mirana sat in her room, a demon broke in through the window. It was a demon Mirana knew. "Prepare to die human!" The demon said. Then Mirana answered: "That is not the right way to greet an old face. It has been at least 100 years, Varxan." "I do not know you human. But how do you know my name?" The demon responded. Mirana eyes turned for blue to red and her hair from black to white. She then said: "Look closer." Then her appearance turned back to normal. The demon gasped: "You! You tormented me for almost a millenium. I thought you were gone. Well now, where you are in human form, I will kill you! Prepare to fight!" Mirana then giggled: "I am not going to fight. This fight is for my children and they will prove their love for me. Just watch."

Mirana then inhaled deeply and let out a scream.

Minato sat in the left chair on the table and turned on the TV. It crackled to life and on the screen was a first person view of the monster he had just seen although it wasn't there long as a flaming hand, one that he very much recognised as his own, punched through it and it faded to dust,"This is my view but not mine, He is in charge, if only I could speak to him somehow" with this a CB radio appeared on the table next to the TV,he picked up the transceiver and spoke"H-hello","Ack turn it down"was replied in his voice, he obliged"S-sorry, is this better" it was the Shadow, "Much, now what is it !?" Minato was used to this attitude from the voice, "Could you make sure Mirana's alright, I'm worried." The voice was very bitter but willing"Fine, but only 'cause it means a roof over our head and food in our bellies" Minato sighed "Good enough, Out" He hung up the transceiver and turned back to the TV "I wonder..." he changed the channel on the TV and it switch to a third-person view of himself and he turned again to find that it switched to a view of his brother who was looking around for his siblings, he cycled through them to find his sister fighting one of Them, and then to his mother who was speaking with one that looked stronger than the rest, almost like there leader, he grabbed the transceiver,"Shadow, she is in her room third on the left, up the stairs, HURRY!" The Shadow didn't like being shouted at...," Alright, Alright don't shout or else, remember, I'm in your head most the time, I could fuck it up." Minato slammed down the transceiver and switched to the third-person view of himself as he was about to kick in the bedroom door...
