Now demons and other hellish creatures were roaming the streets. Most of them had taken human form and had begun to lure humans into deadly traps. She remembered the demon she had to kill to make the house a safe place for the teens to be revived. His body parts were shredded in a trashbag in the trashcan outside and cleaning up the blood was a great deal of work. It was odd that they hadnt asked yet, why there was a portal to hell in her room.
Mirana sat in a chair with white buttoned up shortsleeve dress with a red ribbon tied up. She wore a black string wrapped around her neck multiple times and an ancient pendant that symbolized death which hung on a silver chain. Her very long hair remained open and her blue eyes stared out the window.

"Heh, I suppose this odd event blurs my mind. Never mind, I was done poking my luck anyway." Saikoro shrugged, combining the decks and shuffling the cards. With a quick twist he stored the deck in its respective holster. "Y'know. I actually miss my normal vision, this is just plain odd. Who cares that vase has a 70 percent of whatever it means." Out of sheer boredom he had randomly stared at a vase, and it just made him raise his eyebrow in confusion. He rose up from the ground, placing his hand in front of his face. Luck is funny. Sometimes it'll give you immense happiness, other times it'll kick you right in the face. With a quick thought about what he should do now, Saikoro figured he would see if anyone was interested in having an exchange of words. He wandered around the house, and besides finding no one besides his foster mother, Saikoro let out a deep sigh. "Y'know, I'm conflicted. Should I be happy with my new way of vision? Or should I be worried?" A random question just blurted out of his mouth. But what else was he supposed to ask? If anything he'd rather have answers about that before anything else probably. Saikoro shook his head, once more placing his hand in front of his face. After a split second he just waited, leaning against a random wall.

Mirana then sensed a demon presence left the room. Then she went to the bathroom and turned off the light. The demon then broke into the house and the lights went out. When the went back on, a shadow moved slowly towards the demon. "No! Not Mother Nightmare! Please dont kill me!" The demon screamed. The shadow then trapped the demon and then began to consume him. Then the shadow moved from the spot again leaving a demon skeleton. "Protect yourself, human children. More are coming." An eerie voice whispered slowly.

"I think therefore I am"
but then, that was written by someone alive. How was anyone who still held red hot blood coursing in their veins to understand the reality of death?

There was a demon in front of her. She screamed, loud and high-pitched as anything could conceivably be. And the demons blood froze, as Yin flung a chair at it.
It shattered.
Leaving her alone in the room once more. Until three more demons came. She had noticed the blood thing a moment ago, and she noted that she was able to twist the moisture in the air. Control of water... interesting she thought, inquisitively. She then used that control to bend the demons very blood to her will. it lashed out against it's comrades, and killed them. "Thank you! now, as a reward....." she said, devilishly. She could be cruel at times. "You can go join your friends." she twisted her hands about each other, and then quickly motioned them in directions opposite one another. The Demon, in turn, exploded. Literally.
"well, That was fun!" she said, happily. It was a tad creepy that she got so much joy out of this. She looked down, at her hands. They were dried up. "Side effect?" she wondered aloud. "well, maybe I shouldn't use that all too oft-" She whirled about, smelling a demon right behind her. Her sewing supplies were in her skirt pocket from earlier, and she took the pair of scissors, throwing them at the creature. She had great aim, but it was only a pair of sewing scissors.

The beast-like creature grunted in pain as it stood back on his feet, ready to charge in once more. What would this... Maybe. Saikoro quickly reached for one more card, thinking back to the small explosion that obviously originated from the card. "Only one way to find out." Once more Saikoro launched the card towards the creature, and another 'hiss' and 'Bang!' would be noted. The creature fell on its knees, slowly fading into some sort of dust and eventually vanishing into thin air. Saikoro had raised his eyebrow, wondering what the hell just happened. "Another one of those odd abilities? Like my vision?" With a small shake of his head, he collected his cards, keeping them in hand reach for there would probably be more creatures like the one he defeated just a while ago. With a slow pace, he walked out of the living room, once more standing in the hall. As quickly as it happened, another beast-like creature came charging at Saikoro, his jaws wide open to devour his target in one attack. Once again those numbers, what do they mean? 48 percent chance of what? Without thinking too deep, he launched one more card that flew alongside the still charging creature and softly exploded in mid-air. "I got it! Hit percentage!" He said a little too loud, but he had bigger problems to worry about and with another draw Saikoro launched another card which struck into the creature's head. Exploding on contact, all it left was a small pile of blood. Without second thoughts Saikoro started to look around for his fellow orphans, wondering how they were holding up in this mess. Surely Saikoro wasn't the only one experiencing random attacks?

Mirana then inhaled deeply and let out a scream.
