Info: Elphis Royse, Who prefers being called Hope, was born in Salem, Oregon. Her mom named her Elphis, to remind her of her Greek heritage, however, Hope HATES the name, preferring Hope instead. Hope began singing at the age of 13, and became extremely popular for her original lyrics. A talent agent found her and helped her assemble The one and Only Band.
