"Good," she said to herself. "Just a few more, and I'll have a whole line done!"
Tablature was a bitch to learn, but after you got used to it.. But Blue was feeling lazy today. Normally she'd work and work and get whole pages done. She'd have a killer headache, though. "Hrm." Blue stared at the notes again, and filled in a chord. "One step closer to being almost done!"

Sitting up, he sighed again and wandered through the area, finally coming to a stop outside the living room where he spotted Blue sitting there. Working. He almost scoffed at the sight--she was always working. She needed a break and he needed something to do, soooo. "Hey Blue!" Jermane enthused, maybe a little too loudly as he strolled over to her side on the couch and leaned on the cushion over her head. "Wanna do something? There's gotta be a party or something happening somewhere that we can squeeze our rockin' selves into. What do you say?"

"Where've you been?" She asked with a hint of amusement. She'd been up for a while - Jermane had sleeping habits a bit different from her own. It wasn't a problem, but she had to be super quiet when she got up and moved around. A grumpy Jermane was just plain miserable.

However, he'd been sleeping and lazing about in his room this entire time, but he didn't like to come off as lazy for the most part. Which he wasn't too completely anyway, hence the reason he suggested going partying. "Let's see...it's almost nine at night, so I know a guy havin a party downtown." He paused in thought a moment before glancing back at her, a smirk on his face. "If you think you can handle this party. He's a little hardcore. He likes darkness and flashing lights, pizazz," he added the last part with a wave of his hands. "Like a rave only, well, yeah, like a rave."

She replied instantly. "I can handle that easy!" She might've said a little too defensively. In truth, she was just getting used to this "pizzazz" and the busy, rockin' life of someone like herself and Jermane. But she was progressing! Blue Chu would not be one to chicken out! She could do this. "Let's get going, then! A rave is no problem. Piece of cake."
What was a rave?
She was out the door into the streets of Los Angeles when her phone went off. The ringtone? A short, three-second clip of one of her work-in-progress pieces. She took a half-second to see the caller, and then answered. "Hello, Lyric? What's up?" she answered cheerfully, turning around to make sure Jermane closed the door. She didn't know where they were going yet - downtown, he said? No problem. No problem at all.

Blue grinned as she listened to Lyric. Her eyes followed Jermane - "fine," came her whisper in reply. She couldn't quite tell what Jermane was thinking, he usually didn't take to Lyric too well.
"Oh, yeah, Jermane and I are about to go downtown for a party or something. I hear it's hardcore. Wanna come?" She added, upon Jermane's request. Blue opened the car door and slipped inside, hopefully not throwing too much static into the conversation. It became apparent that Jermane was expected to drive; which she was sure wasn't too bad of a deal. Blue herself was never taught properly by her parents to drive, so naturally she's not very good. In fact, the first time she tried driving, she almost hit some poor passerby. She sat back, crossed her legs, and waited.

"Hold on, Blue," Jermane said, deciding to warn the poor girl before pulling out of the drive way and into the street, speeding off down the road and running two stop-signs on his way out to the main road.
((ooc: Sorry, thought this was dead))

Let's just we don't meet any cops on the way, she thought with a smirk. And as they set off, breaking the law a couple times in the first two minutes. Some old guy yelled at them.
((sorry for the short post. I thought it was dead too. xD))
