Lyric's fingers gently hit the ivory keys while Mozart's Sonata filled the surrounding area. No matter who saw her play, be it The Rock or a passerby, nobody could help but be on the brink of tears. Fortunatly, nobody was around right now, so she needn't worry about hearing whimpering. Lyric liked to be silly with the piano sometimes, and would play a classic composition in a too high, or much too low, pitch, just to see how it sounded. Sometimes she would write her one compositions, sometimes they were spectacular...other times..not so much. No matter what, she loved the piano and everything that came with it.

Blue was kicked back on her couch, her feet crossed and resting on the coffee table. "Badum badum..." she crooned quietly to herself. It was normal for her to mutter random sounds while just sitting down. Her eyes were only half focused on the TV that stood in front of her. Her blue guitar reflected it's light. She suddenly broke out into a speedy version of the Beatle's "Blackbird", stopped, and then began playing senselessly. Her fingers sped across the frets like racing cars. And then she stopped. Looking thoughtful, Blue whipped out a piece of paper. Two notes were on it, looking quite sorrowful indeed. Blue filled in one more note, then sat back, content.
"Good," she said to herself. "Just a few more, and I'll have a whole line done!"
Tablature was a bitch to learn, but after you got used to it.. But Blue was feeling lazy today. Normally she'd work and work and get whole pages done. She'd have a killer headache, though. "Hrm." Blue stared at the notes again, and filled in a chord. "One step closer to being almost done!"

Jermane sighed to himself as he flipped over on the bed. He stared at the blank television screen, black and cold and empty and just absolutely boring. A rockstar, he felt, should never succumb to the sense of boredom. They should always have something to do all the time, except for when they were sleeping. He hated being bothered when sleeping. He rarely got the chance to sleep so when he did, he better get a good, uninterrupted rest or someone was going to have to deal with a cranky Jermane; something not so fun for either parties.

Sitting up, he sighed again and wandered through the area, finally coming to a stop outside the living room where he spotted Blue sitting there. Working. He almost scoffed at the sight--she was always working. She needed a break and he needed something to do, soooo. "Hey Blue!" Jermane enthused, maybe a little too loudly as he strolled over to her side on the couch and leaned on the cushion over her head. "Wanna do something? There's gotta be a party or something happening somewhere that we can squeeze our rockin' selves into. What do you say?"

Blue looked up to see Jermane leaned on the cushion behind her. "Hey! Yeah, why not?" A grin came onto her face as the paper drifted onto a pillow. She got her jacket (which was lying shamefully on the ground under her). Party-going was an art. Something she'd newly mastered - upon meeting Jermane. She'd found it was a needed skill. Sort of. She'd smiled as her friend used to say: "Parties outweigh homework in importance". Then again, it'd been a long while since Blue had had to do homework. The stuff was replaced with regular work. She remembered her first few weeks. Lots of moaning and grumbling. But hey, she got payed.
"Where've you been?" She asked with a hint of amusement. She'd been up for a while - Jermane had sleeping habits a bit different from her own. It wasn't a problem, but she had to be super quiet when she got up and moved around. A grumpy Jermane was just plain miserable.

Jermane laughed and scratched the back of his head a little awkwardly before shrugging it off and turning casually towards the door. "Oh, you know, practicing and stuff..." he trailed off knowing that was a complete load. He practiced all the time, but it wasn't like the entire place couldn't hear him. Drums were meant to be heard and he very well intended that every time he played. The drummer, the guy in the back, but the center of attention. That was Jermane. And he very well liked it that way.

However, he'd been sleeping and lazing about in his room this entire time, but he didn't like to come off as lazy for the most part. Which he wasn't too completely anyway, hence the reason he suggested going partying. "Let's see...it's almost nine at night, so I know a guy havin a party downtown." He paused in thought a moment before glancing back at her, a smirk on his face. "If you think you can handle this party. He's a little hardcore. He likes darkness and flashing lights, pizazz," he added the last part with a wave of his hands. "Like a rave only, well, yeah, like a rave."

Lyric shifted uncomfortably. What to do.....She flipped her cell phone open and slid down the contacts. Blue Chu Hmm. Well. She might be up to something fun today, maybe Lyric could tag a long. She clicked the green button and waited while the ring tone pled for Blue to answer.

//Short. I'm soooooo sorry!!

Blue laughed. She could guess where Jermane was no problem. She waited a moment, ready to go, when he said, "If you think you can handle this party."
She replied instantly. "I can handle that easy!" She might've said a little too defensively. In truth, she was just getting used to this "pizzazz" and the busy, rockin' life of someone like herself and Jermane. But she was progressing! Blue Chu would not be one to chicken out! She could do this. "Let's get going, then! A rave is no problem. Piece of cake."
What was a rave?
She was out the door into the streets of Los Angeles when her phone went off. The ringtone? A short, three-second clip of one of her work-in-progress pieces. She took a half-second to see the caller, and then answered. "Hello, Lyric? What's up?" she answered cheerfully, turning around to make sure Jermane closed the door. She didn't know where they were going yet - downtown, he said? No problem. No problem at all.

"Blue~" Lyric whined into the phone, "I'm uber bored~ and I have noooo new compostitions whatsoever...So...What are you doing today? Maybe we could go shopping or hang out or something?" Lyric twisted a strand of hair hopefully.

"Is that Lyric?" Jermane asked, leaning over near Blue's ear to listen into the conversation. He pulled a face when Lyric asked to hang out with her. Hey, he had her first, but going to a party with two chicks instead of one might just up his cool... He smirked and pulled away from the phone to looked at Blue better. "Hey, why not invite Lyric to come partying with us?" he suggested innocently.

((I didn't know if you wanted me to not include a car or something xD I just put it in there.))

Blue grinned as she listened to Lyric. Her eyes followed Jermane - "fine," came her whisper in reply. She couldn't quite tell what Jermane was thinking, he usually didn't take to Lyric too well.
"Oh, yeah, Jermane and I are about to go downtown for a party or something. I hear it's hardcore. Wanna come?" She added, upon Jermane's request. Blue opened the car door and slipped inside, hopefully not throwing too much static into the conversation. It became apparent that Jermane was expected to drive; which she was sure wasn't too bad of a deal. Blue herself was never taught properly by her parents to drive, so naturally she's not very good. In fact, the first time she tried driving, she almost hit some poor passerby. She sat back, crossed her legs, and waited.

Lyric groaned, "Ugh...Jermane," quite honestly, Lyric thought the guy was a douche, "Yeah, sure. I'll need 30 minutes to get ready though. Wait, do you think there'll be paparazzi there? If so I'll need an hour..." Lyric cradled the phone between her ear and her shoulder as she began taking off her pajama pants, "I'll call you when I'm ready, bye, hun." Lyric tossed the phone onto her bed and headed over to her closet.

Jermane happily grabbed the keys and hopped into the driver's side of the car. He wasn't a bad driver. He just enjoyed breaking any and all speed limits. That wasn't too bad, was it? It was withing reason, right? Especially since he was in a partying mood, he was gonna go fast. He wondered if he should warn Blue. "Is she coming? I'll go pick her up. Once we're at the party, I'm not leaving to pick her up." Plus the idea of arriving with only one chick then his other band girl showing up later kind of ruined the effect. He knew Lyric thought poorly of him. She made it known by calling him a douche once or twice, but he always shrugged it off. She was just jealous of his overconfidence, was all. Girls loved that--she probably did too.

"Hold on, Blue," Jermane said, deciding to warn the poor girl before pulling out of the drive way and into the street, speeding off down the road and running two stop-signs on his way out to the main road.

((ooc: Sorry, thought this was dead))

Bue held onto the seat. "Yeah, she's coming," she responded cheerfully. She figured Lyric would be done by the time they got there. By the way Jermane was warning her, they would be going - very fast.
Let's just we don't meet any cops on the way, she thought with a smirk. And as they set off, breaking the law a couple times in the first two minutes. Some old guy yelled at them.

((sorry for the short post. I thought it was dead too. xD))
