In 2010, a nuclear bomb, Malicia, was set to aim towards the United States by Russia. On September 25, 2010, the United States became a wasteland left for people to wander. The people who lived in the United States became exposed to the nuclear waste, giving them extrodinary powers. Their bodies were enhanced. Some became super smart, while others became super strong. The animals in the US were not so lucky. They became monsters, creatures that were unimaginable. There is no president to run the US and no government to stop anyone. The United States has now become known as, Pangea. The US was left in chaos. Everyone was left to fend for themselves. Florida is flooded with radiation and California has sunk underneath the ocean. The only place left that is near the US is Canada. Canada is the only 'safe house' that is available. Supplies are very scarse and hunting has become even more difficult. Everything in the US is mutated in some way.

Eight friends who formally lived in Florida are now on an adventure to find Canada. Leaving their homes and everything behind, they have decided that survive, is key. Marcus, the leader of the group, has made rules for the pack. Everyone for themselves. When Marcus was seven years old, he had a crush on Serene, a girl who lived in his neighbor. She later moved to Miami and left Marcus behind. Most of the people are quiet and some hate eachother, but they learn to get along well. Marcus is very protective over his sister Mellie. Mellie believes that she doesn't need protection and she is fine on her own. The starting group was Marcus, Mellie, James, and Serene. On the way to Canada, they picked up a few wanderers who were in need of help. They still have a very long ways to go until they get to Canada.
