Suddenly, Sonitus heard a sound in her twisted mind and paused to listen. It was from her first planet, the Dreans were playing music of great beauty but it was filled with terror, fear and a slight hope. Her form moved to see four massive asteroids were hurtling towards the planet, threatening to destroy all life upon it and Phobos was not close enough in its orbit to stop this. The music made her physical form apparent, the image of a girl with dark hair came shuddering into existence with her head turned to the sky in defiance. Opening her mouth a single sound escaped, so deep and baritone that it shook the air and even penetrated space. It hit the asteroids at the moment of a crescendo of panic, making them burst into smaller fragments so that the few that would make it through the atmosphere would not cause extinction nor an unnatural amount of death and destruction. The Dreans still sang as they prepared to fight the menace they could see growing on the face of the Zelos, her distorted form now visible to Living in the Light but ignored what the god was doing for the moment, instead speaking into Malthorn's mind, "Tut, tut Malthorn..." She chided, "That was most unkind..."

After caging Sonitus, Light moved itself next to its divine minions and set to each of them a task which it provided them a seed of divine energy to do with.
Flight was sent to the twin suns and set to filling their cores with the energy of life that would slowly seep out from them and fill any creature that received their light with that strength and harmony.
Beauty was sent to the crystal planet and morphed into a large number of crystals that would blend in with the surrounding landscape and begin filling the planet with the divine energy of life growth and harmony, purifying the air around each crystal and slowly spreading, and filling the mind of any creature that directly touched the crystals with harmony, beauty, and the desire to spread that beauty and light to others, it would be a long time but eventually the planet would be shifted to one of sanity, harmony, growth, and light.
Strength was sent, invisible to all but gods, to view the forces of Malthorn and relay the information to Light that it might devise a plan for aiding these creatures.
Living in the light then spread its consciousness across the oververse, observing the works of its fellow beings and looking for one that had a view similar to itself that they might work together, for if there was not, Light feared it would be very difficult to fight against the forces it had encountered, let alone survive.

Meanwhile the demon felt something was wrong, a constrictive force closing in on her and then suddenly Light's trap was sprung. She felt chains of burning divine energy bind her distorted form tightly, pressing against them and moving in a frenzy to escape as a cage descended and held Sonitus in place, she could feel it creating a barrier between her and the oververse to which she was near powerless. In a final bid of free will, sending what she felt could be her last message unto her solar system that living in the Light sought to 'improve'. It was the most beautiful song ever sounded upon the universe, a symphony of all instruments of which some were not even conceived yet. It was a song of captivity, deep sorrow, lamentation and vague hope that reverberated across the oververse and that all creatures felt they must pause and listen to it. Of course, it was more than a simple song and held knowledge for select creatures. To the Dreans it gave them knowledge of the invaders and the other colony of their brothers as well as how to make it so that none could find them if they did not wish it, perhaps not even a god or demon. Phobos would have instructions to hinder both Light and Malthorn as well as it was capable, its moon Mania would be to help its brother Erratin. The song slowly faded as Sonitus was fully entombed, the physical vestige of the prison was a great stone gateway on a rock face in Erratin with a woman within bound by chains of light.
The second colony of Dreans hid themselves with their brothers on their way to join them, they prepared defenses and made weapons of ingenious design to combat the Karrn.

Unfortunately for them they were cut off by Karrn troops, then when the last of the Drean army was surrounded the Balms flew overhead and unleashed a withering barrage of fire they erased the Dreans and many of the surrounding Karrn. Even now the Drean were taking on legendary proportions to the Karrn, who had already held great respect for them because of there fighting powers. Malthorn sent the Balms out to scourer the land for Drean cities and bomb them. Malthorn set Ly’zzer up as overseer of the planet as he turned his eyes toward other Planets, so he did not see the greed growing within his general and by the time he does it may be too late.

It was a strange thing to watch a Drean decompose in the sun, as many of the Karrn and Elder Ones would likely note as the countless bodies of their dead lay rotting on two worlds. First, though only a portion of the reason for this opinion, was simply the pace at which this occurred compared to that of most dead things, rarely taking more than a few days to be totally gone. However the main reason for this peculiarity was its beauty, something not usually synonymous with the decay of flesh to say the least. The now harmonised sun left burns or, to be more accurate in its description, cracks that spread across their bodies as the caustic rays hit them like shattered glass in changing weather. From these breaks in their gray skin escaped a blinding golden light that began as a faint glow from some unknown internal source. It broke through the soon stony flesh, the chaotic composition of their cells assaulted by the light's divine origin, its burning brilliance evaporated bloodied flesh and contorted faces. A macabre appeal of death and destruction could be found it the action, whispers of madness and thoughts once had also escaping their desecrated frames. The vapors left behind had, upon inhalation, an equally strange effect to the victim with they receiving an aspect of madness and a gift sometimes of considerable power. Often there would be once healthy Karrn wandering the streets and screaming of catastrophes to come, raving often of the power of the "Mad One" which was no far leap to assume to be Sonitus.
Meanwhile, the remains of the Drean cities smoldered with the gold vapors many came to expect from the death of these legendary creatures oddly absent. Many attributed this to the sheer immensity of the explosions that had taken place there, theorized to have destroyed them too quickly for this to occur. Of course, this was not true and just over a quarter of the original Drean had not been in either the last stand nor the cities by their own machinations. They rebuilt their encampments to be ingeniously hidden, they themselves only rarely seen and always only in the corner of one's eye, this being regarded as the time to try and 'catch one'. Not one of the invaders had yet managed this, they still carrying out devious actions of the Karrn, any whom attempted to extend their reach too far for land often meeting untimely ends. Their unearthly music could sometimes be heard at night by travelers in the wilderness, leading them astray.
Phobos looked almost sickly to an observer, a disturbing sight in a celestial object that imposed such terror and panic with its blood red eye. The servant felt the effects of Light's manipulation keenly, trying its best to adapt to the harsh rays whilst protecting Mania by rearranging a portion of the nebula with its gravitational pull. The creatures on this moon continued to thrive despite the hallucinogenic atmosphere with the sentient, scorpion-like creatures building great towers that extend far into the sky and overshadowed the lively waters. Their society was one built on paranoia and delusion, always at war with eachother and factions being created, broken and reformed rapidly.

Malthorn was slightly puzzled by current events. He had recently sent several Balms to The moon that circled Phobos in order to glean information on what the inhabitants were up to. The Balms had all disappeared , he suspected that Phobos had something to do with it. He had yet to figure out just what to do about that. Still he knew that something had to be done about all the divine energy pouring from the twin suns and the crystals on the planet Zelos. On Zelos he reinforced the force field around the main encampment and two portals to prevent any of the foreign energy from leaking in. On the planet Erratin there wasn’t much he could do with energy pouring in from both suns and the planet itself. Still he took what steps he could, immunizing the Karrn and Elder Ones to the best of his abilities. Even so some of them now started to secretly wonder if what they were doing was right, and if they should of invaded this planet. They keep such thoughts to themselves, not wanting to be discovered and executed. Mean while the Balms he had sent to Lights planet were getting close, and while there children would be tame and peaceful these ones still had the flame of war burning in there hearts. Soon they would arrive and then they would attempt to commit genocide the intelligent races residing there.

"I can feel a hint of my aspect growing within you; an enlarged image that wishes to be proportionate, I see..." Sonitus said as if simply recounting something unremarkable she had observed, "You must either be cunning, mad or both to seek a freedom to control and from the being who's children you trample beneath your heel, no less. Good..." She chuckled and then in an instant changed, suddenly leaping at him and trashing against her bindings, the static seeming to spiral inwards like a vorte of her madness, "But tell me, mortal insect! Do you truly understand the madness that beats against your skull!? What does insanity effect in its deluded glory?" Sonitus demanded, grinning as the whispers in the cavern grew louder and somehow thicker against Ly'zzer's shell, "Answer me, Ly'zzer and prove to me your madness is worth my power... If not then this can soon be rectified and your freedom, like mine, shall soon found in any case..."
((Even if you get it wrong she's going to let him help her and give him power so don't stress... Fluffy, is there anything I should know about escaping you nice little trap? If you want then you can determine what let's her out and what won't work, I don't mind.))

The soon to be freed god sighed sadly, slumping for a moment in its chains as Ly'zzer struggled to break them without answering her question directly. His mind was lost which was not entirely an undesirable outcome however it appeared that the sheer intensity of her aura even in this prison was enough to destroy his will. Sonitus valued freedom above practically all other concepts and this development was lamentable but for now her want of her own emancipation was too great to delay. She focused much of her demonic energy on the golden chains, cracks winding down them from her hands until finally they shattered and let loose a massive burst of energy or that may have simply been the god herself. The visage of the demon did not immediately dissipate instead standing on top of the rebellious Elder One now lying on the ground, dazed and held him there, "Ah, how I have missed the fresh air of this planet trapped in that fetid place. Wonderful, no?" Sonitus laughed, the flickering image of the woman inhaling deeply as music swam over their heads, sensing the change that the Oververse had undergone in her absence with a mixed of joy and rage, "Now, you were promised power and I shall oblige..." Suddenly Ly'zzer was lifted from the ground and violently held against a wall as she poured a portion of her power into the ambitious mortal, "These are my first gifts to you, so listen closely! You shall never die of old age and should any lethal tragedy befall you not too complete in its destruction you shall live on by changing your shape and form, every cell of your body... Perhaps even your mind, but memories shall remain..." She laughed a little, starting to fade away into static, "No god shall find your mind open to read, its complexity shall grow and should you ever require my assistance you will find me in every mirror." Sonitus disappeared completely and the Elder One would drop to the ground, "Old friends are looking for you, find them but act as you were before... Beyond this you are free should you respect my creations." She left him there to see the full extent of the vents that occurred whilst she was trapped.
Sonitus found the divine servants of Living in the Light poisoning the Dreans and hindered them, making it harder to effect them but leaving the changes so far as they were. The half 'freed' from the grip of chaos by the energy became increasingly calm and stoic, slower to act and returned to waking in the daylight hours, always so careful to have everything in balance and moderated. They became a new subspecies of Drean now known as the Sol'dra with the original, chaotic but artistic and adaptable ones became the Noct'dra, still living only in the veil of night. They separated themselves, Sol'dra moving closer to the tamed land of the invaders whilst the Noct'dra took more to the dense jungles but there was strangely little physical conflict between them. Sol'dra were obviously not ones to fight and their dark cousin's fighting prowess to famed by the Karrn was not born of any violent predisposition but rather of emotional and philosophical passion, not seeing the other's existence as requiring war. Of course, this didn't stop verbal and social interactions of an... interesting nature arising but nothing too dangerous as of yet. Sonitus then used her energy to delude any Balms in the solar system attack Malthorn's system instead, not to be dissuaded by even their own god. She noted a new god in the Oververse, he reeked of divine energy but his worlds were not so harmonious as Light's and saw no reason visit them yet while there were other matters to be resolved.
Sonitus went to the new, large world crafted by Living in the Light and observed her creations, delighted to see that an aquatic race was so devoted to music. They were all shielded from her but the god did not need to alter them directly and instead left them a gift: New instruments, they varied in design but bore with them a hint of dark beauty and chaotic joy, many were heavy in sound. She wished to see what they would think of them and if their creator would deny them of this harmless present. With a hysterical laugh she found the place where all the new anger of the god had been condensed into controlling, imposing and overall war-like beings intended to attack her creations, arriving there to address them. "Ah! So you are what became of Living in the Light's hypocritical fury! How wonderfully ironic that she would choose you to force 'peace' and 'harmony' onto the Oververse, don't you think?" A surprizingly calm voice said, disembodied but heard by all in their largest settlement, "Hmm, I don't suppose you do think, do you? I believe you have been named the 'Rheks', correct? Do you know who I am?" She asked conversationally, waiting for their response and keeping her fury contained until she dealt with the god whom had imprisoned her. The trap was still intact, able to be sprung again if properly prepared.
