Hello, my name is Kevkas. I was hired as a guard for this fair here because I saw it as an easy opportunity to get coin, you see I'm hoping to open up a shop with my older sister and neither of us have enough money to buy a piece of wood to build the place. It's a good thing too because we don't have any idea on what we'd be selling there, so many options but only one to choose. Anyways let me tell you about myself to give you a better understanding of who I am.

Race: Human, although my mother's, brother married a woman who had direct relations with a dwarf.

I am around 5'10" and maybe 175 lbs. I've got amber hair, forest green eyes, and a pretty nice tan since I work out in the sun a lot. This is going to be weird for me if I have to describe my body build, so I'll let my sister do that. He's got a nice body, and between you and me there are plenty of women that would love to have him but, whenever he gets a love letter [the hand writing from Kevkas and 'his sister' seem to be very close in comparison], I throw it in the fire. From what I can tell there's little fat to be had on him, and being as big as he is there's muscle everywhere. His face is not intimidating but his arms sure are. Alright I'll turn it back to my brother.

I don't have fancy clothes, I wear common farmer clothes and I have some leather clothing hand made by my sister from the skin of a bear. Sure I didn't kill it but I couldn't just let it lie around, it gave a good few weeks of food too. It might not be a master tailor's masterpiece, but it's well enough bound so it won't fall apart.

By profession I am a jack-of-all-trades. I don't have that certain niche that would set me apart and give me a steady job. I am hired to do whatever anyone wants whether it's farm work, chopping wood, killing animals, and dare I say stealing. I only stole 3 times and I tell you I will never do it again, the last time I did my sister went into a coma for a good month. Although it did give the most money. I can fish, hunt, cook, repair simple things like house walls and floors, holes in ships, that kind of stuff. I have never killed a man, and I don't plan on taking a job that would have that in the description. This guard thing, I was told, would just be me making sure things don't go crazy.

I grew up in a poor family, all we owned was a cart and horse. We scavenged for our own food, made shelter when we needed it, and just kept moving. Sometimes we would stop in at a town or trading post if there was going to be harsh weather coming in. It was when I was in my mid-teens that we finally bought a house, but by then I was already working on my own and had a life apart from my family. I learned everything I know from my parents, my early life, and the divine blessing of Moradin and Avandra. My parents told me to thank them every day for their blessings which were given to them their whole life.

Above all else I carry my most prized possession, the Heart of Life. An extremely rare flower my father found, he had given it to my sister who then gave it to me. It is said it holds a secret to bringing someone back to life, but I have heard other interpretations. That one is my favorite, I wish I remembered the song I heard it from as it holds more of the legend.
