Vladmir lounged around the kitchen for idle minutes. He'd shopped around and had decided to make some breakfast for himself. He'd had coffee earlier which had worked out in his favor by not working itself back up his throat and he'd successfully-if anything-gotten half a Subway sandwich down his throat and settling in his stomach. He'd had quite the morning. Actual breakfast. And he'd enjoyed it. He cleared the small messes he'd made and went back up to the room to find Avery up. He arched a quizzical brow.

He was reminded of her attitude yesterday before she'd gone out and come back a complete drunk. She'd been ignoring him. Now that she was back to normal, he wondered if that ill tempered attitude had been brought back with her sense of normality. He shrugged the growing thought aside and greeted her casually nonetheless. If she didn't respond then fuck it.
"Hello kitten."

Avery winced when Vlad said hi, his voice suddenly sounding way too loud. She groaned and took the pillow off of her head and looked at him. "I feel like shit," She commented and rolled herself out of bed and padded to the bathroom and turned the tap on. She grabbed the pill bottle and swallowed it with some water and looked in the mirror. She groaned once more; it looked like she had fallen asleep with wet hair and her eyes were red. She made no comment though on her dress state, assuming if something had happened Vlad would have told her.

"Please tell me I had a good time," She said and leaned her head against the cool glass of the mirror. She sighed and looked down at her stomach, suddenly really hungry. She remembered Vlad herlping her out last night and she stuck her head out in the hallway. "Thanks Vlad, I appreciate that," She told him, not really remembering what he did but remembering thinking he was really nice. She walked back into the bathroom and started to brush her teeth.

"Thanks Vlad, I appreciate that,"
Did she actually remember anything that had happened the previous night? It seemed that she had and he nodded in response that she was welcome. He looked her over and frowned. She didn't look too good. It seemed any minute she'd fall or throw up a good deal of whatever contents were roiling around in her empty stomach. He shrugged to himself and placed his Ipod on his bed as he regarded her.

"Are you okay? Do you need anything?" He was about to ask another question of concern when he clamped his mouth shut; remembering that this wasn't the type of guy he usually was. He never lounged around ANYBODY just to make sure they were feeling okay and to see if there was anything else he could do to help them. He didn't feel right about how he was reacting recently. Certainly they're little fling didn't get in the way of his rational thinking. He cast a glance at her again, prodding her to respond to his previous questions that lingered in the air.
He wasn't changing. He would admit to himself as any mature person would that he did have some sort of attraction to Avery, aside from the physical.

Avery finshed brushing her teeth and spit in the sink and rinced her mouth out. When she was done she wiped her mouth with her sleeve and sent a small smile his way. It had looked like he had already been out this morning and she wondered what he had done. She shook her head a little, trying to rid such thoughts out of her head. She doubted Vlad was quite the affectionate type and she wanted to rid relations from inside of her head. What they had done, well, she had done it before. She needed to stop thinking into such things.

"No but thanks for asking. I've already downed three advils and feel like shit. But oh well, it's not like it'll teach me a lesson." She winked at Vlad and got her brush from the counter as she started to brush the tangles out of her hair, wincing as she did so. She wondered when the next party was, she would probably wind up going to that one.

Vlad watched her move around the room with that same dead expression on her face. She looked like all life had been drained away from her. That was always the customary result of a hang over. And he didn't think it fit a female at all. There were those few who didn't give a fuck about themselves and naturally he didn't give a shit about how they felt afterwards. But as he was willing to admit; he felt something more than a little concern and a little respect for Avery and so his approach towards the situation with her was diffferent.

"No but thanks for asking. I've already downed three advils and feel like shit. But oh well, it's not like it'll teach me a lesson."
And there she went being a stubborn, and blind type of idiot. He rolled his eyes and smiled back at her. "But of course," he mrmured and threw himself down on the bed. Taking up his sketchpad, he opened it to his last page and began shading some finishing touches to the random scenery he'd drawn up. His eyes drifted over Avery again and he shook his head.
No. He wasn't about to bother her with matters that didn't apply right now.

Avery looked over at Vlad, why did it always seem like the guy was having an internal argument with himeself? She didn't understand how he was just able to go off in his head and think without talking about it. But then again she was doing it now. She sighed and went over to sit beside Vlad on his bed looked at him. "What are you drawing?" she asked him, not looking into the sketch book so she wouldn't invade his privacy.

She repositioned herself so she was lying down, putting her throbbing head on the pillow and closed her eyes. "So what did you do last night?" She asked him, her hands absentmidedly going to his arms and starting rubbing small circles on them. "I mean I know what I did, well, I have an idea." She said, a small smile gracing her face despite her throbbing head.

Vladmir looked over at her as she came to sit beside him and he repositioned his lax position so she could have some comfortable spacing beside him on the bed. He lifted the pad slightly so she could see his drawing. It was a distortion of two worlds merging together after a collision. That's what it loked like. Chaos. Because that's what his mind felt like. That's what he felt like. Then on the page vefore that was a girl at a stream, bleeding out into the clear water. And the page before that was the dragon he'd drawn meanwhile he'd been in the bathroom with her.

"So what did you do last night?"
"Not get drunk," he quipped. He meant it in a tease but his voice came out a little harsh. There was a slight hunger going on inside him. She was right next to him. And the wind didn't let up just because. If anything he'd say it picked up velocity and he wanted to bite her. Taste her. But he steeled against the craving. He'd leave her alone. It wasn't....his thoughts stopped running around his circles the instant she touched him and started running her fingers in circles across his arm. He looked down at her then averted his gaze.
"I went out. Then came back here and took care of you." He looked down at her again; a grin on his face. A telling grin that said you owe me kitten.

She smiled at both his words and the drawing. The drawing was a jumbled mess and more than a little confusing. "Well, I like the drawing. It's really nice. You need to draw me some time," She told him with a wink and drew herself closer to him, pressing her side against his to get a better look at the drawing. "And you really didn't need to take care of me, I'm a big girl, I could do it myself. I used to do it all the time," She told him, trying to keep her ego intact when in fact she probably did need Vlad last night. She was assuming if it weren't for him she would have gone out some mroe and woken up in someones elses bed and she really wouldn't have enjoyed that.

"But then again, it's always nice to have someone do that for me. Though I'm a slightly shocked my neck is bite free. Hey, if you drink my blood when I'm drunk, will you get drunk too?" She asked, derailing her original thoughts onto a more interesting topic.

As she drew closer, the need for her blood heightened in him and he leaned back to take a good look at her. It was a warning look. But he could tell his eyes weren't narrowed enough...and not even on her face. But it drifted down to her top where he was getting a geneous view of her chest then his eyes slid lower. Vladmir turned away when she commented on his drawing then stated that he should draw her. He probably should. She was beautiful and had a nice figure. He'd consider it. But it'd have to be a painting if anything else.

"And you really didn't need to take care of me, I'm a big girl, I could do it myself. I used to do it all the time,"
Vladmir chuckled and gave her a small kiss on the lips, "I'm sure kitte. Well last night you were in no shape to take care of yourself if you'd like to know." And he gave her a look that she shouldn't try and counter what he said. Because she must have known he wouldn't have touched her if he knew she was more than capable of helping herself.

"But then again, it's always nice to have someone do that for me. Though I'm a slightly shocked my neck is bite free. Hey, if you drink my blood when I'm drunk, will you get drunk too?"
Vladmir nodded then laughed at her question. The images that formulated in his mind from that were funny as hell. Vampires getting drunk off of blood. Some did become indisposed. But never drunk.
"No. We....I avoid drinking from drunk persons because their blood tends to be accented by whatever they've been drinking and it leaves a nasty taste in my mouth. So I don't." He arched a brow as he leaned in closer to her and swiped his hand across her neck then up across her lips.
"Did you want me to kitten?"

Avery sighed and frowned, not countering what Vlad had said because of the look he gave her. She shut her mouth and looked at him dramitically and sighed. If it weren't for this kiss she had gotten for him she would have said something about being able to take care of her herself. She sighed and looked up at him and brought one of her hands to his hair and stared to play with it, twirling the ends between her index and middle finger and humming softly.

She smiled when he laughed, God she loved the sound of it. She really thought he needed to laugh and smile more often, she loved how it would light his face up. "So you don't like the taste of whiskey? I mean, I would think fireball whiskey tastes a lot better than blood, but, you know, I guess we don't have the same tastes." She told him with a wink. She gasped and held in her breah when she felt his hand across her neck and then to her lips and she heard his question. "Headache," She told him, though it didn't sound very decisive. She sort of looked up at him, sore form yesterday as well as the hangover.

"Are you being all sweet and asking me out?" She asked him with a smirk, knowing her acting oblivious would annoy him.

Asking her out?
Where did she get that from. Okay, probably she was misinterpreting what he'd been talking about. Or probably he himself had gone off track meanwhile he'd been openly ogling Avery. He shrugged as he considered what she'd just said. It was an inviting prospect he could more than likely take up on.
He shrugged again; this time to her. "I don't know. What if I am?" he smirked and draped his arm around her shoulders, pulling her even closer to him. Then his lips nuzzled at her hair then his lips found her ear where he whispered; "And I'm actually feeling very hungry kitten."

Avery smirked as she felt Vlads arm go over her shoulder and kept it there, pulling her up against him. She felt his lips nuzzling at her hair and then his lips at her ear. She was confused for a second, wondering why Vlad was acting suddenly so soft around her, confusing her. Though she understood when she heard his words on the hunger, it explained a lot.

"Of course you are. But then again, won't my blood taste gross with all of the leftover alcohol? I mean, you'll probably be tasting Vodka and Tequila. Maybe some whiskey. . . and beer. Maybe some Baileys, though I'm not sure about that one," She said with a smile, moving her hair out of Vlads way and put her hand on his thigh, drumming her fingers over the jean material and occasionly stroking it. "Not too much, 'kay?" She said, alreayd hurting from the hangover. Last thing she needed was blood loss.

As she spoke about the leftover alcohol that would be real strong on his tongue; his hunger wavered a little. That was a first. Usually nothing could wane his hunger and he wondered how the hell that was. Maybe he wasn't really hungry. Maybe it was just because of the fact they she was so close to him that he was feeling such an impulsive hunger. He moved away just a little. There was something weird. His mind didn't really feel as his own. It was blank but at the same time there were so many thoughts that went rolling round and round in his brain. It was weird and confusing him and setting him on edge.

He arched a brow at Avery's willingness though. Not that she wouldn't be really. But there was hardly a fight she put up. And she sort of would.
"Not too much, 'kay?"
He shook his head and turned her face to his and kissed her; then he moved back. "It's fine. Your alcohol count just downed my hunger." He smiled and leaned back, taking up his phone when it just started to ring. And strangely with an urgency he could oddly pick up.

"Awww, maybe I should just get drunk more often to get you off of my neck," She muttered as Vlad jumped up to pick up his phone. She groaned and got off of his bed, leaving the room to let him take the call in privacy and she went downstairs and went in the fridge, grabbing the milk and an apple. She poured herself a glass of milk than put it away and munched on the apple, finishing it up and htrowing it away and washed the cup, putting it in the dishwasher.

She walked back up to her room and saw Vlad still on the phone so she went in the bathroom and took another Advil, her headache finally starting to go away. She smiled and brushed her teeth again and brushed her hair and walked back inside of the room.

Vladmir watched Avery move out the room as he spoke on the phone to a girl who he thought he'd never hear from again. Cassie. She'd been an old flame at his last college. They'd had a few drinks, a few flings and had shared a room together for a few days because Vladmir was being transferred to a new dorm. Than feelings had started to get in the way of what happened between them and so he'd decided to cut the acquaintance clean. He sighed as she babbled away about something he could hardly focus on. And he was about to say something when Avery reappeared. The look on her face said she seemed a little upset. Annoyed even.

Without giving Cassie another minute of his time, he hung up the phone and silently walked into the bathroom. He came up behind her at the same time she turned around, causing her to bump into his chest. He anchored his hand high up on the doorframe and looked down at her.
"Are you okay kitten?"

As Avery turned around she bumped into Vlad and gasped, not expecting him to be there. She frowned when he asked her if she was okay. She cocked her head and looked up into his eyes with a small smile. "I'm fine, don't worry. The hangovers almost gone, which makes me happy," She told him, looking up at him. She didn't know why but thoughts she didn't want there flew into her mind and she pushed them out, breaking eye contacts with him to look at her feet, a small blush coloring her face.

"Who was on the phone?" She asked, trying to divert his attention away from her. She didn't know why Vlad could make her blush, usually she was the one who made boys blush and she didn't like the role reversal.

He nodded when she told him the hangover was almost gone and licked his lips as he looked over her profile again. Vladmir wasn't going to lie. His mind was straying to worldly thoughts. And he wasn't minding the prospect of being indisposed that came to mind right now. He smirked when she started to blush and watched her lower her eyes from his. Usually he'd roll his eyes when a girl tried to hide how guys were making them react. Don't get him wrong, he understood a girl's need to hide her blush. He'd gotten reasons. But for personal reasons he didn't usually like to see it. With Avery though she did it with a sort of coy cuteness that he found sweet.

"Who was on the phone?"
He gave a noncommital shrug when she asked who was on the phone. "No one important," he asnwered. And it was an honest answer. He hardly ever minded Cassie but right now she wasn't an important object in his mind right now.
He backed her inside the bathroom and closed the door. "Why do you ask?"
That was something else. He should just overlook it but Avery had a certain level of curiosity if it came to the privacy of his phone she never asked questions. It was a weird observation.
