Introduction
The Hallows: Home to the Fallen Stars Pack
The Fallen Stars Pack was not the only pack in the forest though.
The sinister darkness traveled over in large groups. What was the strange darkness spreading through out the forest? No one knew... but it stayed there for many moons, until an angry wolf came along who destroyed anything he found ridiculous or anything he disliked. The wolf gathered many other wolfs and created a pack that made there home under the shadows. Even though the pack went out many times in the day, they hunted and made ambushes in the night. What was this part of the forest? This part of the forest was named the Shadows.
The Shadows: Home to the Shadow Pack
The brightest part of the forest was up in the mountains. The valleys full of grassy meadows and flowers filled up most of the land. Many wolves traveled to this area because the prey level was very high, although many enemies passed the boundaries and went onto their territory. In order to keep these trespassers off, the wolves that made up the pack would have to fight causing them to grow weaker, and weaker. If only the pack would grow stronger with new wolves! This part of the forest was amazing and beautiful. It was usually called the Golden Springs.
The Golden Springs: Home to the Golden Springs Pack
Everybody is welcome to join in as long as they are accepted, just remember though that there are positions in the pack, so I will post if they are taken or not.
Okay, well now that you known the basics, I will explain the roles/ranks in the pack.
Alpha is the pack leader, or pack leading pair
The beta wolf is second in command, the strongest next to the alpha and the one who would be most likely to take charge if the alpha died or was seriously injured. (The female and male don't have to be mates)
Next in line are the middle-ranked individual wolves, that don't exactly have a specific name.
At the bottom of the heap is the omega wolf, the lowest-ranked pack member. They are usually dominated by other wolves and they usually are the ones to take the fall for the pack. Omega wolves are also in charge of taking care of pups.
Pups are not necessarily considered part of the pack, but are included in the pack and are trained for higher ranks as they grow. Pups are the young of the pack and are usually cared for by the omegas.
Loners are wolves outside of the pack. They are forbidden to interact with those in a pack and are usually not trusted.

"What's going on,"asked rose sternly.
"One of the other mother's pups died last night, and she thinks that one of our omegas did it," replied a thin white furred she wolf.
Rose commanded the fight to stop, but it didn't. When it was finally broken up, crimson blood was soaked into the grass and dirt. Scars were located on the wolves faces and pelt.
Rose had sudden thoughts that she should either forbid them from the pack or have some type of pack council meeting, and decide what to do. Both wolves deserved to be punished but wolves have rights to be angry if someone had really sent their newly born pup to it's death.

Her body was pounding with anger and irritation.
"Both of you should be ashamed of your selves! Is this anyway you should treat another member of your own pack," Rose raised her voice in an angry tone.
She trotted off toward her den and called Fenrir over with her.
"Fenrir," she began to speak in a quiet whisper.
She could feel stares from every corner, but the wolves of the pack were dead silent in a moment like this.
"Something...," she continued," has gone very wrong. The mother's pup did die, but from what I saw, the scratches are not nearly as deep as a full grown wolves. I presume that it may have been a wolf, just not a full grown wolf..."

If you looked very closely at her eyes, you could see the smallest tear running down onto her pelt. She sighed for a minute, then without hesitation followed Fenrir over to the gathering of the wolves.

"Thanks for trying to help," she whispered before dozing off. If you looked well enough you would really see her smiling inside and out.
