'I'm fine." Mark took the sock off and put his hand on the sewer wall. "I gotta piss" He releases fluids from his body against the wall. He finishes and turns back to her "Want something to eat? I don't have much but I can give you a granola bar." Mark reaches into his bag and gets out a granola bar.
Mark handed her the food. He peeked his head out of the sewers. There weren't many clones around. None that he could see. "Do you live nearby?
Alana looked at him confused but shook her head. "No... I don't live with anyone. I suppose you could come with me... But you have to get dressed first..."
"Yeah I will. Thank you." Mark puts on all his clothes. He climbs out of the sewer and waits for her.
Alana jumped out of the sewer and picked up her skateboard. "Good luck keeping up." She said with a chuckle and hopped on, skating back down the street.
Mark held onto his bag as he ran after her down the street and back to her house. He was keeping an eye out for any other clones.
Alana smiled softly as she rode her skateboard, she loved riding, she loved the feeling of the wind in her face and the control yet freedom she had with this little board. She skated up her driveway and kicked the board into her hand, opening the door and leading him inside. "So, what's your name?"
Mark followed her in "Mark. How about yours?" Mark puts his bag on the ground inside next to the door.
"I'm good, but thank you though." Mark wanders are the foyer and looks into the kitchen "Thanks for letting me come over."
Mark smiled "Really? I wouldn't suspect someone as beautiful as you to be lonely." Mark knew what he was trying to do. He would get on her good side and then could tell her who he really is.
Alana blushed a little and looked down as she sipped her soda. "Well, when I turn twenty I'll be assigned to my life partner and then I won't be, so I just have half a year left."
"Really? That must be awful to not know the guy before hand." Mark didn't want that to happen. He would lose her so soon. He needed a clone to help out with the struggle. He needed to show her the rest of the humans before she turns twenty.
"Yeah I guess that's true." Mark rests his one hand on top of her's. "I have to share something with you. It cannot leave this room."
"I'm-" Mark cut himself off. He didn't know if the time was right. He has to go on though. "I'm not one of you. I feel. I'm... human." He looks her right in the eye as he shared his secret.
