Life slips from your grasp, you fall into a realm. This is no heaven, this is no hell. This is the outlandish, the serene, the chaotic.... This is the Void, This is purgatory.
You will be playing a character who just died. You were an ordinary person with somewhat regular morals. Regardless of your terms with the god of Malevolence of benevolence, and what side of the moral ladder you clung too in life, you are now in the testing grounds. Only by your progressive actions, can you pass the trials and be accepted into the higher planes. Depending on what you choose to do, you may be ascended to Benevolence's sanctuary for the peaceful, or Malevolence's paradise for the sinful. But that is only assuming you can overcome the daunting tasks which await you, if not you shall linger here for eternity. Enter, the void...


Aside from above, you will come to find that the Land of purgatory is not remotely cohesive. It has been inhabited literally since the first death of a human within the mortal world. This means that many cultures are present within the vast lands. The world is literally endless. The nature of the realms are dictated by a strange physics system that seems to be chaotic much like the Malevolent god. That said, the overall geographical features are very very outlandish, do not expect to feel at home in too many places. You will learn the lore and beliefs of every locale you come across, or be given the options too. This RP is very open ended in the amount of pathways open to you, this Rp is not simply made up of a few forks in the road. Rather a complex system of veins connecting to a central heart or in a literal sense a goal.

I'm looking for dedicated players. If you are new too RPing that is fine, I welcome all. However, I will not accept one liners, poor grammar/spelling or anyone who likes to play captain obvious with their characters emotions. (Example: My characters mom died. This made my character sad.) Feel free to submit a character, most often they will be accepted.
